I guess that should be one of the most expected outcome. I actually got lucky once by receiving 3x30 pearls, but since I wasn't able to complete every task throughout the Wheel of Fortune event (usually it was 3 out of 4) I stopped before the very first box award. :3Mission PASS - Lisa's Limited-Time (Summer Mission) 14
I'm kinda frustraited with the fact that Decralative Dana is overwhelming other tanks in PvP for a long-long time (and she's likely be more convenient choice in other places), and there is no real option to use other tanks unless you wanna stick to some sort of triple tank setup, two tank + Limos, etc. (That's what I have encountered so far). From your standing, if we consider to change only one hero, I would go for Dana maybe. Either nerf her shields or do something else to be able to open that tank slot for other tank Childs. I know that this certain issue is more complicated and it wouldn't be idealy resolved only by changing Dana, but we gonna stick to that "1 Child" statement. :)Dc community question part 3!! 16
Well, this may be happened to you (look at the screenshot).
Some of the Destiny Child staff are hanging around here in Moot, so you may try to message them in PM (like CM Alt or CM Shift). I've seen them even replying into threads, maybe you'll get a comment from them here later during working hours in Korea.
Also there is a "Help Center"
But I've never used it before nor tried to contact there via support button. It's up to you what you should try. Good luck resolving the problem!
After I've spent all the ore obtained via Mona's emergency support I got 1 S-grade modification, 0 "A" and "B" seven times. Honestly, idk if that's an okay result.
Here's my tailored outfit. There are lots of new armors with more hp rather than defence recently. I wonder if we'll have a chance to get something like tailored outfits or bikinis in the future - with more defence points.
That's mine. It's kind of modest, but I very much like the whole scene. :3
I wish there was a memorising feature for custom placement of your Child on the main screen so you could change his/her scale and position once for every future return to main menu or re-login.
Sure! I absolutely agree it would come in handy. Otherwise you have to distract yourself from work, house chores and other things demanding your attention too often and too many times. Especially when you have a full friend list. And there're already a lot of different actions in DC you are likely doing manually every log-in which consume quite significant amount of time. So yeah, repeat mode here would be nice. :3[IMPROVEMENT] A "Repeat Battle Mode" for Friend Fight in Global Version ? 5
Sadly, no chance to get any of these items online. There is no shipping to my country and it won't be set in the future, 99% sure.
I guess only way is if I maybe be able to travel to Korea at some point. Always wanted to visit GSL live at least once. This year it's 10th anniversary, I'm saving up a bit. Who knows, who knows... :3
I guess you're totally right, thanks! I just didn't really feel any significant difference before even though I saw some strange AI management from time to time. And when I was trying to compete against same teams I had lost before I was still losing on both partly auto and manual modes. Then I kinda "forgot" about that option always thinking it would more likely be crucial on the highest ranks like Platinum while now I'm just too weak in some other components.
Now I've got quite a lot of infomation, so maybe I will do better with more thoughtful practice.
The other tough thing for me though is how to learn recognizing useful things & aspects from team usage, pvp, etc. in the future. Because now I'm looking somewhat blind and silly. x)
Oh, wow! I didn't expect your answer to be so detailed and comprehensive, really appreciate your work on that!
Now I think I get it why my short and embarassing attempts to only change Dana to max ATK or pushing Change to the limits of AGL wasn't quite enough... There are lots of other variables in this equation, huh. These advices, they seem totally worthwhile. Even though I have some things yet to be achieved like getting high-lvl S.O.W card for Bathory or other more suitable stuff for everyone else this way should be the right one. Thanks, I will follow all of your suggestions from prioritizing right attributes to the combat style. Will start from Lan Fei indeed and then try to gradually get more uncaps for someone else from "Specific targets" section mentioned by you. Both Isolde & Nicole have +3 already, so maybe it wouldn't take too many months to evolve them with Bathory as well. But anyway, I will unlikely increase my battle count in the near future, especially since they all become manual, so there is no reason to be in a hurry.
About Lisa Sessions... If you mean 5☆ rewards I picked Neamhain (light support) from the 1st lesson and Hera (wood defender) from the last one. Neamhain helped my team to be noticeable during Ragna and Hera was just least uncapped child among available heroes in the list - with no +caps whatsoever. I guess they both are not really suitable for pvp. And I've never meet them there.
Whew. So that's a fair amount of useful info for me in the end. Heartfelt thanks to you!
May I bother you with some questions about your secret of success? If you don't mind to answer, of course. :)
I'm kinda struggling to rank up for the last several months and barely climbing on 100-200 points each month. Can't say I did a lot of battles each season, usually it's around 50-60 in total. But I did an intensive try last month when I got +2 caps for Neptune and added her instead of +4 Maat to my team. Result was somewhat +300 ladder points, but then I stuck hard on 10.600 Gold III unable to defeat any more people.
Since you're mentioned that you also have not max uncapped childs in your pvp team my question for you is: what am I doing wrong in comparison to you? Is there something not right with my team itself - should I try another certain childs? Or maybe I should change their equipment? For instance, add ATK bonus to Dana primarily to make her one of the targets for skill gauge buffs in order to increase shield cast frequency? Or should I forget about doing full auto fight at all and always do pvp manually, also choose the certain teams?
I'll attach here collage of screenshots of my child collection and current team.
Thank you very much in advance!
I clearly don't understand why everyone is just blindly retweeting those posts or retweeting them and then separately leaving the comment under the original tweet. Aren't you supposed to retweet the post with comments inside the retweet itself? It says "retweet WITH comment", not "retweet AND comment" or just "retweet".
Come on, people.
In case it's mine «discovery»:
I usually inform my friends via «Support» button about this «find», then look if someone actually joines the battle. And if someone comes in then I wait a couple of minutes more (to give other people a bit more time to join, there is no way anyone already fighting would finish the boss in less than 2-4 minutes, right?) and after that I start battle myself where I make sure to put speed on 1X to potentionally prolong Aurora's life for the same purpose again.
That's my win-win scenario i believe.
In case it's other one's «discovery»:
I wait until the discoverer starts the battle himself or if there is a situation where he doesn't show up but the boss is already being bruised and/or being attacked by a lot of people in general - then I join in too.
Ha-ha, that's exactly the same character I found in one guy's database on github a couple days ago and then used it to lure my friend to join playing this game - I guess he especially likes this kinda stuff. So I hope he will eventually install DC on his phone after seeing that quite quite tempting posture & juicy shapes. :DUhh....shhhh... 11
This child is called Tiamat (originally 3-star). What you saw is her with applied skin.
Most of the skins in this game went through Re:Birth Labyrinth, so you can find them there: either in "Costume shop" section or in "Re:Birth Summon" one where you will find "Costume archive" button at the top screen.
I simply can't always keep my attention on the phone. Unless it's not a weekend or vacation (as it is right now :D). But usually there is a lot of stuff where I must or should primarily focus on. Work which absorbs almost all of my attention (and where I often stay overtime T_T), daily chores, additional studying, some other stuff. Most of the time my DC play goes in the background and occationally I check results of the different actions I started. That's why my "boss discovery" may hang for a while unnoticed, for example, especially while searching through the story mode.
But if I gonna start playing only when I can switch my focus primarily on the game, like on some evenings or weekends, I won't make it far soon enough and won't be able to get some decent rewards afterwards.
It's a shame there was no complete description about Ragna mechanics in game so far. Or I was blind for the whole time, idk. Until last season I didn't even realize that helping friends defeat their bosses also counts in daily Slayer rewards progression. I thought it only matters when you choose someone from that particular "Slayer raid" menu.
That feature of potentional preventing your friends from getting boss level progression is also not intuitively obvious, I agree. Yeah, there is a note that player won't get any reward from the boss if he doesn't do 2%+ damage by himself, but it doesn't necessarily mean that level progression for him being the boss discoverer won't raise as well. And even though I figured that out quite soon, it was from a practical experience when some friends of mine defeated my low-level bosses a couple of times without my participation. Yikes.
Thus I upvote this post.
I think you don't give yourself enough credit in that regard. This is already a pretty nice result with your team, I really mean this. You still may disagree, however I would like to point out a few more things as I see them from my perspective.
1) I fairly believe that PvP system in Destiny Child has similar player distribution like Starcraft 2 ladder has, for instance. So if you look at the today's player distribution there (screenshot below) you will see that even though it has completely separate full league of "masters" with the same 3 divisions as any other league has, only ~5% gamers reached this level. And from "diamond" to "silver" the amount of players is almost identical with a little deviations through the seasons. "Bronze" has about 10%, half of an usual number. And now let's talk about leagues experience in Destiny Child. I received my stats from A.I. announcer this Monday while I was in "gold"-2. Do you know how many people are above me, approximately? It said: ~3300. 3300 for the rest of "gold" divisions and the whole "platinum". That's insanely low. If I remember correctly when I was somewhere near the border between "silver" and "bronze" leagues numbers were ~17000. It was a while ago though. Considering that I assume our whole "platinum" league has truly elite players which amount is really low. Somehow even "gold" doesn't feel to have too many people, but it already should be a bunch. If we do a projection from SC2 onto DC ladder, what it would be? I'll put here a rough numbers, don't mind me.
plat - 2-5%?
gold - 25-30%?
silver - 25-30%?
bronze - 25-30%?
ruby+rookie - 10-15%?
Having yourself in a highest "silver" spot - congratulations, you already reached ~top35%
2) Now, about meeting strong players in the leagues they don't belong to. This PvP system has a bit crazy placements sometimes. For example, I did a climb from ~8000 to 9200 in 7 days once with a 95% score. Game placed me in the 9000 next week, where I lost a bunch of PvPs, but still stayed around 9200 (3-7 fights with unknowns each day). Next week placement was in 7200 (or 7400? anyway). 7200! I LOLed.
And not only the placements can be weird from time to time. Amount of plays you have each week also matter a lot. As other people say and I've experienced myself if you don't play enough, you'll drop out anyway. Most of those contenders with powerful teams you meet in lower leagues gotta be them, I believe.
And don't forget about the day of week itself. At the start of each week stronger players should be on lower positions than usual. And usually it's easier to climb up after Wednesday or Thursday when more active players have reclaimed their regular spots again.
3) Also a note. Aside from those "strong" individuals you meet. You should have noticed already that others, mere opponents, in silver have stacks on their childs. At least, on couple of them, right? They should have them. Don't underrestimate this feature. It's not only about some aditional "+" to general stats, but also +10 levels to every skill child has. That's significant.
Well, you know... Considering your team in terms of lacking some stacks and having that amount of overall power I'd say you did put yourself in a pretty decent spot right there.
Yet I would like to add my two cents into this discussion.
The one thing I don't personally like in PvP format here is that it's relying so much on such a few "trending" heroes. That's how I feel it. If you hasn't been lucky enough to get some of these relevant childs via events' rewards or random summons or if you're not the one who invests money into the game to get additional summons/resources it's hard to even consider of climbing somewhere high in here. UNLESS you've spent A LOT of time in the game, not missing the events, rewards, steadily and daily farming and grinding, having fortune on you side, etc.
However it is how it is, right? It's kinda "the price" for the game being free and stuff. Fair enough. Sort of.
But still, I'd like to see a bit more versatile and various pool of childs able to compete on the same level at their max growth and strength. We have so huge list of 5-star childs nowadays - it's more that a hundred now - and yet so many of them are not suitable, are not effective enough in comparison to some minority. Minor number of heroes which are happen to be "trending" whenever they get crucial skills to kinda shift the current meta or they just too much strong on their own nature. (Have you seen any other legit and popular tank other than Dana, for instance? LOL) In general, it's all about what number of childs now - ten, twelve? I counted around 20 in today's top100, but even here almost a half of them were super rare occasions. And the same faces tend to appear in gold and silver leagues, not only in top100 and plat.
Again, that's only my thoughts. And I can't even say I've ever reached the very top level myself. However I'm playing since April, have missed only several days in total since. Yeah, I'm not the one who spends money cause developers don't have regional prices (be this otherwise still not sure if I would, though). And yeah, I somewhat seriously joined pvp section couple of months later. I can be totally wrong in my viewpoint and assumptions. But still.
Not an easy life, man.
Hihi, thx for adding me! Even though I can't say I'm investing too much time in this game to be able to take part in friendly PvPs, but aside from that it should be alright: coins here, coins there, coins everywhere. =p And, of course, I'll try to keep up with the upcoming Ragna seasons as well (or some other co-op friendly content) if my job ain't absorb me completely in the future - but that's unlikely, I think. :Dlooking for friends <3 3
Thanks for the reply!
Quite an interesting position you have here. Maybe that's indeed a useful method to beat enemies on those stages. Can't say I have won any 4-3, still having troubles with 4-2 actually and not even fully on a 100% winrate in 4-1 without friends help. So I'm being kinda between 4-1 and 4-2 right now. And you know... Honestly, I feel like Maat here is not a panacea. I think I understand what are you leading to: keep the team alive as long as it's possible to reach two or three "fever times", am I right? But what if you don't have improved and stacked Maat at the first place? And even if you do, it feels a bit... random, unstable? The main problem, as I see it, is in the combination of recovery block and DoTs which is not necessarily falls on the same heroes/positions in your team. And Maat can't really deal with that. Yes, she is a strong healer still, one of the strongest, and has unique ability to ressurect, for sure. But still... I have +4 Maat now and she can't deal with those obstacles. I always thought that there needs to be some combination of childs able to remove block and DoTs. Something like Erato/Bast (to stop DoTs) + Astarea/Makoto (to vanish blocks). But the idea of keeping the battle via constant ressurections... I think I had a few battles with that scenario, actually. Maat wasn't receiving any focus on her, but others were dying. If I remember it right, I just ran out of time unable to beat enemy team with all those "fever times". Even though I had two attackers and Dana with overall power of 19k+ each and either water Chang'e or some other supporter.
That being said, I'm uncertain a bit with your idea. No offence. Maybe I'm wrong, but still...
Thank you for the comment!
Yeah, I guess it is gotta be quite tough for you to compete with some mastodons in someone's friend list as a candidate for the first n picks now. However, that +5 6-star Leda must be really strong as a support. And as I remember myself, when I got +2 Mafdet she had already been strong enough to compete in the last stages of Underground, and that means something. I dunno what I would pick here honestly, feel it's almost 50/50. But maybe I would try to switch them around and see if your friends use one of them more. :)
Such a shame there is no in-game chat with your friends, we could ask something directly there. About that, for example.
About friend list update: I feel like it's refreshing every 12 hours. Not sure 100%, but think so.
Thanks for the reply!
But why exactly Chang'e though? Isn't there a lot of other great childs who can be useful in every sort of battles? Or is there something about the stage you mentioned I don't know yet?
I can send my id in your corresponding thread a bit later, even though I share Chang'e but ain't water one. Maybe I will be able to help. :)
Thank you for the comment!
I was tended to share the most stacked and developed child I had regardless of its type or relevance at the beginning. It was 4-star healer Pomona. :) Then I switched to acquired 5-star childs whom I could grow up enough and use in battles freely. Now, when I got a few 5-star +6 childs, I picked the one I use most of the time myself excluding tank and healer roles: I think people rarely lose them during battles in the first place, so it would be nice to help them with some relevant supportive/debuff abilities or just brute force. My pick right now is on a brute force, wood atk Chang'e, best developed and equipped child I have among the chosen types.
And a lot of my friends "share" water Chang'e - she's quite good most of the time no doubt. Quite healthy, can accelerate others' skills recharge and stun enemies, cool stuff. However I'm not confident to take her as a replace to Lab, and mentioned the reasons in the other replies.
And as it comes to Lab, I'm totally with your preferences here towards Eve! And I'm doing the same thing when using friends support: manually picking Eves or some other high developed childs for Lab, and then autopicking everyone else outside Lab, filtered by login time. :)
Thanks for your reply!
Unfortunately, I can't say much about your current preference since I didn't have a chance to try this child. But I assume that having a good support may be useful in most situations, especially if he/she is well-rounded, can help keep others alive directly or indirectly and still do some damage if needed.
Talking about my personal experience... I'm not that good example to establish a decent opinion on that, but most problems for me are coming from Lab, where I can lose one of my attackers often. And another attacker as a replace actually comes in handy since he becomes the main damage dealer instead. If I have some other types, usually I find myself out of time. Pretty alive, but with "zero" on timer. That doesn't necessarily mean other type childs are not appealing choices, some non-attackers are still may be really helpful, but since I'm losing attack characters more often, my needs are leading me towards regaining enough atk power. But again, that's just my experience.
Thanks for the reply!
I guess they are indeed very strong heroes, both Bathory and Neptune. However I can't say I played with significantly developed ones. Sadly I don't have Neptune yet, and my Bathory is reached a +3 stack right now via reincarnation services, so she has been quite useful already, but still not enough. And I've seen only one friend with +3 Neptune and +3 Bathory so far in my list.
And you know... I'm kinda leaning towards viewpoint of Dragon Quest Fan. From my perspective there are more situations when you sooner lose your attacker than any other type of hero. That's what usually happens when it comes to my tries in 4.1-4.2 stages of Labyrinth. Maybe there are some troubles with my gear though, idk. There is a problem with my hero setup for sure, but I don't have proper characters yet, which names I've seen here in the replies or in other threads and discussions. Something like that. I tried to replace my defeated attackers with some other child types in the friends list throughout the battles, but I always started to realise I'm lacking enough damage to beat everyone before clock reaches 0:00. When I replace atk for atk, it usually seems fine.
Thanks for your reply!
Yeah, totally agree. From the very first steps in the game till later stages "sharing" can always significantly help to overcome some difficulty and win a fight. And especially for the newcomers, indeed. I was totally hungry for this option first couple of months, remember this clear.
Aw, man! Poor Eve girl, so little time for the rest. You gotta send her to the spa at the opening day to thank for all her hard work! :D
That being said, I really respect this character choice. All those Eves helped me a lot, and still are helping on a daily basis. Nice pick!
Thank you for adding a good viewpoint to this discussion!
Now I have some names to look at in my future tries in Labyrinth, appreciate that! :3 I guess I'm somewhat in the similar boat as you are. I didn't get enough stacks for heroes mentioned by you above and for other useful heroes like quite versatile with decent survivability Eve (she's has the most amongst them , +4), etc. Wasn't lucky enough to get Neptune at all before or new Bathory recently after spending 40k crystals, but whatever.
Speaking honestly, I'm kinda biased towards Eve too as a strong replace pick. When I'm doing my current 4.1 Lab she is my best "safe belt". It's not like I tried every hero during Lab battles which my friends are offering, but there is a bunch of highly developed and stacked Eves and they 100% saving me here. That's not what I could say about water Chang'e, for example - there are lots of them being used as "shared" as well. Doesn't mean they not useful, but just not likely during Labyrinth missions in my case. Feels like I'm starting to lack some damage to finish before the countdown ends. And attackers are usually first to be slain, so replacing them by other attacker is logical. But it's just my current experience in this dungeon, any other place and dungeon is alright with Chang'e and others.
I'm myself was lucky enough to participate in the anniversary(?) event before Christmas when developers allowed us to earn some +6 heroes, so I picked the ones I've never had before. My point was that you eventually could get every default 5-star hero, but not from passed events. I guess only after this event they added extended packs with almost all childs available. Anyway, I invested as much as I could in attaker Chang'e I received, so she became my vanguard and "shared" one. Seems like she may be useful for others since having decent attack power and defence. Maybe there is still a way to improve her by switching between items, but I haven't figured out that yet.
If I get to the point someday when I would ba able to share some trending childs like wood Bathory or Neptune now (right?), will do so immediately. :D
Thank you for commenting this post!
Yeah-yeah, sure it's not the only option available in the social segment, that's why I said "almost the only [...] action". :)
That being said, I always keep in mind "send coins" action and I'm doing so 9 times out of 10 at least. However this PvP feature to raise our stamina is quite time-consuming, especially in comparison to the amount of stamina you get. With all that daily grind/event stuff I just usually don't have more time to spend on this and the other parts of the game. (unless I'm not on a working vacation :D)
Moreover, description of this PvP feature is not quite easily accessible. For more than a half-year I didn't even know it helps peolpe raise stamina points - I thought it's just some kind of real-time PvP round between two players being online and agreed to fight.
Looking at your experience I assume it would be nice for you if friends share some decent support hero. The one who would come up after one of you weak childs gets slain and cover other 4 characters under high pressure, right? Strong attacker might be cool too, but maybe it's not a safe bet to sustain all 5 heroes alive while he's smashing enemies. But some mass shield or a little bit of heal alongside with something else should help. (?)
By the way, I would love to see more options to get along with friends. Not sure how exactly though. That's a whole new thread for discussing, I guess. :)
That's absolutely decent, reasonable and comprehensive opinion. Thank you!
I'd say I feel you here completely. I'm not against people who really want to share hero they'd like to share even he/she still has a really long way to go up. But isn't that a natural scenario when you wanna power up your favourite one eventually? So, it's okay for me to wait some time and see if this guy doing some progress here... Yeah, it's kinda hard to get new stacks for certain 5star childs for instance, so if you still want to share this hero, please, do everyone a favor and equip her/him with a good equip at least. And don't forget to keep upgrading this equip, then it's fine. However when I see someone who shares unequipped, undeveloped character, actively plays the game, even popping off... but there is no sufficient progress with his "shared" one... It's like they just don't care, they don't respect their friends and you in particular. So it's a big "no". Yeah, again as you said, getting some weakling, especially when doing Labyrinth, can be crucial.
I see only one similar and understandable situation: when player wants to indicate that he is leaving the game - I had a few people who just changed their childs to empty 2-3star. And that's totally okay - you see this and then say farewell.
Never been in any spa in my life yet. But I assume it's quite a wonderful experience though, regardless of the type. Maybe some day I'll get the opportunity...
Thanks for this great upcoming update guys. Another reason to keep more attention to the game. :3
