i think ppl are more upset about how we had very high expectations for this big, new event and it turned out its reward model was barely equivalent to ragna. yes the shop rewards are okay, but aside from eve (which is actually just fodder for me and many vets with +6 eve) there's nothing in this shop that would convince ppl to participate, nor show interest in playing the game again.
i have a handful of friends that quit DC out of boredom, and i wanted to tell them all about world boss when it showed up to get them back into it. but i can't, because this event is really not so special after all..
that's my perspective on it. you have a point that mission rewards can be looked past, but there's more to it than that for me
these are my opinions but i feel like there aren't any hard rules to spending blood gems, anyone can have a valid reason for how they spend them in any way.
i don't use them on a summon because there are more cost efficient ways to get 5*. UNLESS it's a pickup summon since the rates are way better than crystal summon (i got a morgan <3) .
i don't buy any aurora hearts since the game gives us plenty of 4* auroras to evolve.
skins are a sound choice because they are currently exclusively from this shop, unless they plan to sell them for crystals down the line
the rest is just shortcut stuff, i can always grind for child exp and equipment fodder so i don't worry about those.
its kind of like that rpg mindset where you save your best healing items for the final boss ..well, that day will never come so you aren't doing yourself much favors by hoarding them now ><
if you have any decent 5* A/B equipment that isn't +15 then u should use them. i personally like to use them after reaching +10 with fodder
and by 'decent' equipment i'm considering:
- scimitar
- halberd
- wedding dress
- bikini
- pyramid
- vampire kit
- motorcycle helmet

if you look at the button before the element select it says "from the Premium summon pool"
looking at the rates for the premium pool (which i assume is separate from the blood gem summon pool) none of the new childs are listed.
so my answer is no :c
i know what you mean, my list is mostly eve, chang'e, dana. i understand that it's best to share your best unit but it leaves very little choice for self expression. it would be nice if we could set 2 or 3 childs as helper - one for the stats, one for waifu ^^b
oh to answer your question, right now i'm sharing hestia for the lab event but i'll be switching back to my pride and joy g.chang'e after the double coins event ends c;
might as well drop it here since it's relevant:
in ragna with auto fever on, if you and the auto hold the same attacker you can get hyper speed taps which will do the max hits in ~4 seconds instead of 7 seconds.
super useful for runs pushing four fevers.
