Worst Guns in Call of Duty: Warzone

You ever get to that much-needed loot box in the middle of a game of Warzone and open it only to find a steaming pile of garbage? Some half-assed rifle with single-shot burst and no scope? It’s moments like this that makes the jubilation of getting your loadout all the better. We all know what the best weapons are, but I’m here to shed some light on the worst. The bottom of the barrel and the biggest reason we chuck our headsets into next week. These are the 5 worst guns in Call of Duty: Warzone.

5. Dragunov
So, I hear you like sniping? Well come right in friend and take a gander at this here Dragunov! It’s got god awful damage, a subpar scope, and is less stable than our pet bull after we fed it bath salts. (I assume this is what gun salesmen sound like…moving on). Seriously though, there is just no reason to be toting this thing around unless you love the ultimate challenge. While the idea of a rapid-fire sniper rifle sounds great in theory, here it’s just pointless. It shoots fast, sure. But it does the worst damage per bullet in the entire game. Why carry around this garbage when you can just get an AR and why snipe with this when there are tons of other sniper rifles that are far superior? If you’re stuck with this gun from a loot box, well that’s just what happens to you then.

4. VLK- Rogue
I love shotguns in this iteration of Call of Duty, but even I can’t defend this piece of trash. While you’re likely going to kill any player with this thing with one shot If you’re close enough, that damage lessens an insane amount if you get just a couple feet away from your target. The fire rate is also on the lesser end for a shotgun of this type and there are so many better options to get you through a round if you really need your shotgun fix. You can add attachments that increase the range sure, but why waste your time when you have plenty of other shotguns with superior base stats that don’t treat the gun like something out of the N64 era where shotguns only worked if you were basically face to face with another player.

3. MG34
If you’ve read any of my past posts, you know I’m obsessed with light machine guns. The massive clip size with the super high damage rate just works for me and has always seemed to be the best option in Warzone where a large clip is necessary for taking out multiple players in one round of ammo. That’s why it pains me to say this but the MG34 is a gun that’s ripped right out of World War 2 and it feels like it. It’s got one of the worst mobility stats in the entire game to start off, so if you’re going to suffer through with this weapon be prepared to add attachments that bump this significantly or else, you’ll be a sitting duck. To go along with this theme of slowness is the 8 second reload time. Yes, you read that right, it takes 8 seconds to put another clip into this thing and it feels more like you’re changing the ink on a printer than loading a gun. Forget about trying to reload in an open space with this hulking relic of the past because you’re going to get downed immediately.

2. Crossbow
This gun or bow rather just does not fit in this game, period. It feels like it jumped out of another game and is just trying to go unnoticed here. And it goes wholly unnoticed, buy just about everyone especially in Call of Duty: Warzone. The novelty behind this weapon is that it’s a one-shot kill. That’s great and all for team deathmatch, but in Warzone? That’s not the case at all and unless you land a headshot with this thing, you’re going to be killed as soon as you have to reload which is after literally every shot you take. If you’re effective with this thing, I want to see how considering it requires some incredibly precise aiming and patience to use and that’s just not something worth your time as there are countless guns better suited for your likely ill-fated trip into Verdansk.

1. Striker 45
This submachine gun is the definition of meh. It’s not the worst gun in the game stats-wise, but it’s so mediocre in every category it just feels wrong to use. With low ammo clips and a truly preposterously bad accuracy stat, this gun comes off as a wannabe assault rifle with none of the chops to back that up. Shooting this thing at an enemy from more than 5 feet away is like taking a fistful of marbles and launching them at someone from that distance and expecting every one of them to hit. While you can boost the accuracy with attachments, that still doesn’t do much for the lack of control and unless you’re great at anticipating recoil and quickly correcting your aim after you shoot, this gun will prove to be pretty fruitless during your endeavors in Call of Duty: Warzone.

So, what guns do you think are the worst? Did I miss any that stand out? Let’s talk about it below!

Will Warzone Harm Future Call of Duties?

With the rise of Warzone, we've seen a downfall in Multiplayer CoD. Unfortunately, having a set number of players in a game means you have to disperse them within the game modes you offer. Warzone has lowered the amount of players in Multiplayer and now we have to ask a serious question. How will this change future CoDs? Simply put, I'm ready to say it might hurt them for some time.

Let's be honest. Warzone has completely taken over most player's streams and YouTube channels. Because of this, we're seeing less and less Multiplayer videos and streams, meaning the game mode is becoming solely for the purpose of entertaining the players and not an audience. The idea of a new CoD is always fun towards this point of the year but this time around, it'll be interesting to see the numbers.

Black Ops has always had high popularity in the community and players. The game, like most CoDs, typically has many players flock it right at the start. This year will not be any different. Black Ops will be swarmed by players and its success will rely on Warzone, almost completely.

With the idea of updates continuing with Warzone, players will remain until it's stale or ruined. With that said, players are more likely to get bored of Multiplayer sooner and go back to Warzone.

Let's also remember an important factor. Warzone is free. Playing Warzone because it's free now will still count in the next few months. Unless you can make a game worth playing over a free to play game, you've got no chance. Black Ops will have to be extremely strong compete in that case.

So what does Black Ops have to rely on? First off, the downfall of Warzone by it having a poor update or no more updates. Option number 2 is to make Black Ops so good that Warzone is competed against fairly. Finally, we can hope that players have fun in other game modes, as well as Zombies.

So what do you plan on doing? Sticking to Warzone? Moving to Black Ops? Both? Let me know! I'm excited to see what others think!

Best Changes in Season 5 of Call of Duty: Warzone

Nothing has been anticipated in the gaming world lately like the drop of Call of Duty: Warzone’s season 5 update and rarely do these updates ever live up to the hype. We were promised trains and stadiums and it just kind of seemed too good to be true, would they really implement all of these changes right off the bat? The answer is yes they certainly did and it is an awesome update with very little to complain about. I’m serious, Infinity Ward did an awesome job here. This is what I liked and disliked about the update.

Loot Train
I’ll admit at first I had no idea what to expect with this train. Could you ride it? Could you destroy it? Could you drive it? The actuality of it is far simpler. Simple, but effective. The train basically acts as a moving vault in that it’s stacked with legendary level chests and items. Throughout the match, the train will be traveling along the tracks and you need to either land on top of it or just time your jumps right from a vehicle to get on it. Once there, a variety of different obstacles are available to hide behind and the scenery passing you by while on the train is just ana amazing aesthetic to add to Warzone. I’ve seen these trains be very popular for landing early on in the game and this leads to some exciting shootouts from people on the train or shooting at the train from other buildings. It’s not a huge change, but just a fun little interactive thing to add to an already outstanding map.

The Stadium
We’ve been loathing this thing for a while now and have been pining and begging for the developers to let us into this magnificent structure. That time has finally come as the stadium is fully open for business and while it isn’t the most amazing version of what people were hoping for, it’s still a solid addition. Littered throughout the field are military tents and loot boxes which makes sense, but I was kind of hoping to see an untouched sports field to do battle on, but maybe that’s just me. The bleachers and concession areas though are fantastic to fight in and really lends an interesting angle to where you should be dropping to start matches from now on as this place is just loaded with loot. This will finally make the circle ending near the stadium not such a harrowing experience and more of an exciting one. Now to get those annoying tents off the field and we’ll really be in business.

The Train Station
It’s not just the train that’s up and running, the entire train station area that was previously inaccessible is now fully open as well. The station is kind of a mini-mall of sorts and that means you’re going to find tons of loot in this area. It’s pretty dark and decrepit and goes aesthetically with everything else that’s happening on this dark and mysterious island. The more areas the better in my mind and while this area won’t win any awards for creativity, it earns points for getting rid of the feeling that we’ve been limited in where we can go in this already massive map.

The New Gulag Playlists
Finally, the Gulag makes sense. Every week we will be treated to a different loadout in the Gulag and this will be the thing that fixes all the players bitching about snipers in the Gulag or pistols etc. Everyone has their preference and this makes it so you can get a taste of guns you aren’t familiar with while still having plenty of opportunity to get your favorite weapons in the Gulag depending on the week. I do wish that they just would rotate the weapons game to game instead of week to week, but this is a good start and I’m hoping it isn’t one of these timed features that disappears after a couple of weeks.

Mini Royale
This mode is perfect for the players who love the idea of a battle royale but hate the actuality of waiting and strategizing and often not seeing another player for ten minutes at a time. The mini royale thrusts you all into specific areas and challenges you to be quick on your trigger finger as the battles take place very quickly and it feels more like team deathmatch than a battle royale. This is a great mix between the two though and really gives those trigger happy teammates of yours their time to shine without sacrificing all of what makes Call of Duty: Warzone so great.

So what do you think about the new season? Anything you liked or disliked? Let’s talk about it in the comments below!

The Top Vehicles in Call of Duty: Warzone

One of the most important aspects of Call of Duty: Warzone, although underrated, is the use of vehicles on the map. We see them practically everywhere, with at least one vehicle around any area. From the Prison to the Quarry, there will be tons of options to choose from, and this choice can make or break your game. Here are the top vehicles that you and your team can use to not only get through the map, but also inflict serious damage on opposing players.

The top vehicle is the Helicopter. This is by far the most unique vehicle in the game, as it is the only one that provides aerial capabilities. Unlike the other vehicles, the Helicopter is something that cannot be hit on the ground and can only be hit by aiming upwards. From the getgo, this gives you two advantages. Although a chopper is huge in size, hitting it at that high of an altitude with a sniper or assault rifle will be very hard. Even if you do hit the Helicopter, it will cause minimal damage at best. What about missiles and airstrikes? Although the aim of both of these weapons is more accurate and deadly, the squadmates in the Helicopter will get notified and will just hop off as soon as they can and recalibrate. Unlike a ground vehicle, when the Helicopter explodes, there is a chance of survival through escape. Finally, with its speed across the map, the Helicopter can really get you places where you need to be. From exiting the gas or trying to quickly dominate a certain part of the map, the Helicopter will be the best bet.
The second best Vehicle is the SUV. out of all the options we have on the ground, the SUV is your jack of all trades vehicle. It can go fast, like the ATV, while still maintaining a huge amount of protection from outside opposition. One of the best traits in any vehicle of the game comes down to speed, durability, and flexibility. Although the chopper wins cumulatively in all three categories the SUV can move you across the map pretty fast and even get through obstructions, like trees or buildings, while still giving protection. However, mastering its movement will take some time, as compared to the more nimble ATV.
The third best vehicle is the Cargo Truck. Although it may get a lot of negativity in the Call of Duty: Warzone community, it is the safest bet of all the vehicles in the game. It cannot maneuver as nimble as the SUV or the Chopper but is for sure one of the sturdiest in the game. It can take the most amount of damage and can fit your entire squad. The only two downsides from the cargo truck are that everyone is out in the open by the trunk and that it is the slowest vehicle in the game. If you are trying to escape the gas, this is one of your worst bets. However, if you are trying to dominate a space or see an enemy team nearby, use the Cargo Truck to rummage your way through and get their loot.

Top 5 Places to Airstrike in Call of Duty: Warzone

Airstrikes are a fickle beast in Call of Duty: Warzone. They’re so appealing, yet often are just non-factors. Because of the radar, teams often know exactly where the Airstrikes are coming and can easily avoid them. But that’s just one team. The key to air striking properly is to find clusters of players before you unless sky born hell. Where do you find these clusters of players? How do you unassumingly call an airstrike without having your location found out? Here are 5 places that will provide some outstanding opportunities for group airstrikes.

5. Prison
I usually advise against roaming around the prison area too long, but there is one benefit to lurking in these parts. The prison is usually teeming with players who are trying to load up on loot and we’re going to capitalize on it, here’s how. First, we’re going to grab a helicopter and a couple of airstrikes and we’re going to roam around the prison NOT over it. If you go over it, the likelihood of being shot out of the sky is far higher, so we’re going to have our air strike caller ready to go as we do a quick flyover. Have your caller make the call whenever he sees life and immediately jump off and land on the towers or on the nearby wall. Start raining bullets as the players below head for the indoor areas. If you do this right, you’ll be able to cut off any exit strategy and they’ll be stuck either getting shot by you or being destroyed by an airstrike. This method is best when the circle is going to land in the prison so you know there will be a high volume of players there.

4. The Dam
The Dam is generally one of the toughest areas to navigate in all of Verdansk, it’s cluttered and tough to find out what entrances lead where. This very reason is why we’re going to use it to our advantage when calling in an airstrike. The ideal position is located at the very top of the dam. The reason is we can get an unreal view of a huge chunk of Verdansk. You’ll have a view of the ice lake, the nearby houses, the tower near the airport and even the airport itself. You should have a player equipped with a spotter scope before calling airstrikes, but from this location, you should be able to spot quite a few teams and there really is very little place to hide if you manage to call the airstrikes where they are going to be rather than where they are. Think of it as leading a receiver in football.

3. The Superstore
The Superstore is arguably the most popular area to loot in Call of Duty: Warzone and we’re going to take advantage of these looters, specifically from the roof or a nearby apartment rooftop. We’re going to post up with our arsenal of airstrikes and wait for these greedy little rats to come storming out of the Superstore with their new-found fortunes. This is almost foolproof because while everyone loves to go to the Superstore, absolutely no one loves to stay there. With any luck, you will see a team running out of the store being shot at by another team and this is when you make the call and rain hell on both of them. Aside from the Superstore itself, the best they can hope for is to hide behind a car or wall and while they’re doing that, that’s why your other teammates light them up with AR’s or rockets to make the chaos all the more confusing for the other teams to navigate.

2. Hospital
The Verdansk Hospital is one of the coolest areas in the game and it has tons of benefits within. Because of this, many players tend to flock here and that is doubled for when the circle is closing near the area. For our purposes though, we’re going way up to the highest roof available with our airstrikes. From here, we’re going to do a bit different of a strategy from our other locations and we’re going to start by shooting our normal guns down at whatever team we find. We want them to be on the runs and panicking to find cover outside. Once they do, that’s when you call the strike. But don’t call it right on top of them. Surround them with the airstrike while two of your teammates dropdown where they’re stationed. Ideally, you want to wait for that strike to dissipate and then have another in the wings ready to go and it’s with that second strike we’re going to have everyone charge that team except the airstrike caller. Keep in mind you can be killed by your own airstrike, so keep some distance if you’re the one making the call.

1. Airport
This is the spot you’re going to make your bread with airstrikes in. Usually populated by at least two buy stations, the Airport is always packed with players whether the circle dictates it or not. The spot o make the strikes from though are just as important as where you’re making them. Here, we’re going to be at the tower. The tower has a massive view of the entire airport and you can see players for insane amounts of distance in just about any direction. The key to calling airstrikes here is the element of surprise. Don’t go for the team that is camped out in a specific location, those players are too structured for our purposes. We want a team running like hell away from a firefight. As always, you’re going to have to predict where these players are going to run to, but generally, if you can nail them in the middle of the runway, there is very little areas for them to hide once the bombs start raining. If you have a sniper on your side this would be a great time for them to get some target practice in as well.

So where do you usually call your airstrikes? Do you do it by feel? Or do you have an actual plan every time? Let’s talk about it below!

What We Want From Call of Duty's Next Zombies!

It's been highly rumored that the Call of Duty of 2020 would be Black Ops: Cold War. Finally, the game has been confirmed as such and it seems like we're getting zombies back! For all of the zombies mode players out there, this can be big news because zombies have always provided us with some thinking, explorations, easter eggs, and great lore to look into. So, what do we know about zombies so far for Cold War and what is it that we'd like to have in the next zombies mode, from previous experience?

First off, we already know that Cold War will have the Zombies mode and that there will be some essentials remaining. Pack-a-Punch, various perks, and major things will still be in the game mode for players to use to their disposal. The Chaos story mode will not be returning this time around because there were negative opinions from the community about it. Also, very popular weapons seem to be confirmed for the gamemode such as the M16, RPD, AK-47, and the PK Machine Gun. Apparently there has been some discovery of Vietnam soldier concept art for the gamemode, which can lead to many various things. Map-wise we know there is one that is going to be codenamed "Silver". Not a lot else is confirmed.

What do we really want, though? Well, let's start off with a continued storyline for some. Apparently Black Ops 4 included remakes of Black Ops 1's Zombies which was a mix for the community. Many players would like a continuation of the story while others are hoping for a whole new one. We are still unsure if the storyline will be a remaster, reboot, or original and until we find out, tensions will be high.

Casual players like myself will hope that there are easter eggs to enjoy. I feel that games with little secrets are always lots of fun, especially when things happen without your knowledge or understanding. Something different to add a twist to the game mode as we play it would be awesome. Add that and I'll be EXTREMELY happy.

Another thing that is worth mentioning is an "end-game" to the zombies mode. Many maps in zombies were survival only. There were others as well that had lots to them besides survival but after reading up on them, there wasn't a way to beat the maps, just progress. Unless my sources were wrong, I'm pretty upset that you can't beat zombies mode. I feel having a suvival mode and an actual beatable mode would be beneficial for the community as it'll be like a mini campaign for players to have a chance to play.

Is there anything I've missed? I wasn't an avid zombies player but I've been immersing myself back in the BO2 zombies maps recently and I realized how much I'll enjoy playing Cold War zombies, surely. What was the best things about zombies in your opinion that we need back and also let me know if we need to continue the storyline or just start fresh again? I'm excited to hear about it!

Worst Places to Drop in Call of Duty: Warzone

Anyone have a teammate with the absolute worst ideas? “This area looks great, let’s drop here.” “I think I’ve got enough for a loadout, oh wait I only have $9000”. Listening to this ever-helpful teammate always gives you the worst start and you’re usually spending the rest of the round trying to recover from the mistakes. Those mistakes generally tend to come at the beginning and that means a terrible drop zone. Plenty of places seem appealing, but there are certain places you need to avoid like the plague until the dust settles a bit in the round.

5. The Stadium
I am praying to the gods that the stadium soon becomes a fully-fledged indoor environment that becomes the main attraction with the upcoming season update, but as it currently stands this place is a hellscape where all joy comes to die. Dramatic? Yes, also I don’t care. This place has fewer positives than a government branch undergoing COVID testing so it’s in your best interest to stay the hell away at the jump of a match. The loot boxes are limited and the amount of spots you can be ambushed from is simply impossible to count. Want to grab the loot box near the will call stand? Get ready to be shot at from the carnival tents, right underneath the nearby bridge, the sniper in the tower across the bridge, the player new to the game who felt it would be fun to see how far a rocket can travel. You get the point, you’re going to get destroyed unless you’re as alert as possible. There just is no reason to land here other than the unique scenery and while it’s nice to look at, you can’t look at something if you're dead. Because then your eyes won’t work, it’s science.

4. Verdansk International Airport
This is a fantastic spot to loot, but we’re not talking about looting, we’re talking about where we want to drop and the reason we’re staying the hell away from here is because of all that loot. Unless you are the very first team to touch down in the airport, you’re likely to be welcomed by an outfitted team with a solid arsenal while you run around like an idiot with a pistol. It’s incredibly tempting, I know, the hangars are loaded with equipment and buy stations are usually littering the runways. But the last thing we want at the start of the match is a full-fledged firefight with suboptimal equipment. Wait a little bit, search the nearby apartments and bide your time. The airport is always going to have tons of equipment, you just should not be going there at the very start.

3. Arlov Peak Military Base
You know, for a military base, I strangely can’t find a damn weapon to save my life here. I know they probably exist, but navigating this area is such a nightmare and there’s just too many places to be wary of other players popping out and shooting you that it hardly seems worth it in the long run. The only beneficial thing about this area is the abundance of vehicles, That’s right, the best part of this area is the ability to get the hell away from it. If that’s not an advertisement for staying away, I don’t know what is. The giant hangars above this area though are quite solid to bunker down in at the end of games though, so this area isn’t that bad later in games, just terrible at the start of them.

2. Zhokov Boneyard
Do you like despair? Do you like bullets hitting you from all angles shot out of what appears to be thin air? Well, do I have a spot for you! Seriously though, landing at the Zhokov Boneryard is the equivalent of punching yourself in the face with a cement boxing glove. The benefits are there are some chests littered throughout the destroyed planes, but despite this giving the appearance of being a solid place to find loot and cover, it’s often fleeting. I don’t know what it is about this place, but generally, when my team ends up here, we can see the Gulag lurking around the corner. Whether it’s the snipers hiding out in the depot building or people camping a nearby buy station, this place is just a misery. I wouldn’t even recommend coming here once the dust settles. It’s painful to navigate and just ugly to look at. Avoid at all costs. Or don’t, and let me know how you did in the Gulag.

1. The Atlas Superstore
While I’ve preached the value the Superstore has when you travel to it later in the round, going here at the start of a match is simply asking to die. I mean, where do I start? This is a labyrinth of riches for sure, but the cost of those riches is generally your entire team getting wiped out within seconds of entering this place. There are tons of entry points, high and low and unless you manage to quickly pick up a gun outside the store, you’re usually going to be under-equipped as the bullets start flying from the teams who beat you to the punch. If you get in there and decide to bail quickly, you’re out of luck as well as plenty of teams post up on the roof or wait in the nearby parking lot waiting for people to come running out of the store. If you must go to the Superstore, I beg of you, wait it out. Let the number of players thin out a bit before charging in there, trust me, no matter how good you are, you aren’t good enough to survive 5 teams shooting at you at the same time.

So, what’re your least favorite spots to drop? What are your favorites? Let’s talk about it below!

How to Buy Back squadmates effectively in Call of Duty: Warzone

It is very rare for your entire squad to live from the beginning to the end of the match. Almost all the time, someone is going to end up in the Gulag. In those occurrences, there are a lot of chances that you would have to buy them back. As someone who has tried to buy back my squadmates all the time, here are some effective ways to buy them back without risking your life in Call of Duty: Warzone.
The first thing to do is to recover from the massive depletion of the team in the Gulag. Do not try to solo your way out of the game and go for big squad skills. It is almost impossible to win a 1v4 with depleted health, resources, and heightened nervousness. The best thing to do is to go back to safety and armor up. Usually, if my squadmates are all in the Gulag, the enemy team might still be hunting me down, and so escaping from their line of sight is absolutely necessary. At this point, do not use vehicles or anything that will give attention to yourself. Simply run out of there as fast and as safe as possible.
Then, look for a small house or shack. Try to avoid large buildings. Usually, teams with a higher amount of people will flock to big buildings over small shacks in the middle of the Warzone map. There has been a plentiful amount of times that I had enough money to buy back two squadmates with full armor, just to be lasered down by a team of four waiting for free loot to come by. Instead, go to places where big teams will go to the least.

After, you want to locate the nearest buy zone possible. Hopefully, from the time that you ran from the gunfight to the time you went to safety, you got some money on you to buy at least one squadmate back. However, do not try to go for cash stacks in areas of high density. It wouldn’t matter anyway if you get caught in gunfire outmanned. Instead, look for smaller stacks that will eventually add up to $4,500. This is a much more effective and safe approach than going for big stacks of cash. Unless you see one in a safe perimeter, these will just lead to your squad being sent back to the lobby.

Finally, buy them back fast and retreat fast. This is a crucial and very important step. Sometimes, we take too long in the station or we keep running around as if we have a full team behind us. Call of Duty: Warzone isn’t about getting more kills, but rather about survival capabilities. At this point in the buyback process, you should definitely be around medium-dense areas, like in the outskirts of the Quarry or in the Airport. As you buy them back, continuously look to mark anything. From armor to rifles, mark everything for the returning teammate so that they can help you as fast as possible.
Do you agree with what I said? Let me know in the comments below!

Promotions Call of Duty Warzone Best attachments for each gun type

If you’ve been on the Call of Duty: Warzone train that’s been single-handedly keeping us sane during this weird period of humanity, you know by now it’s all about the loadout. Survival chances go way up when you’re outfitted with your favorite weapons and what makes these guns unique is it’s your custom made weapon. The problem with your custom-made weapon is its trash. You’re all over the place with your attachments and for some reason, you think it’s a great idea to carry around 200 bullet clips and a tac laser. You’re not onto something, you’re onto nothing and you’re going to get turned into swiss cheese as you lug around your boulder of a weapon while shouting to the entire map “I’m over here! Follow the green light to my dumb ass!” But no worries friend, I’ve got a lot of opinions and a lot of free time, so here’s the best attachment loadouts for each weapon type. (Trigger Warning: I’m going to mention the Grau.)

Assault Rifles (avert your eyes, here it comes)
The Grau

FFS 20.8 Nexus Barrel
FSS Blackjack Stock
FTAC R-89 Rubber
FMJ Perk
Cronen Shark II Under Barrel

So, you want players to scream in frustration as you take them out with your recoil being basically zero while your damage is near light machine gun levels? Then take this loadout into the Warzone and watch the players drop like flies. There is nearly no negative to this loadout. Your control is simply absurd, the accuracy is a couple clicks short of a sniper rifle and the range is also outstanding. Now, you won’t be a track star with this setup, but that’s okay because you won’t need to move much when you’re mowing down players from absurd distances. Everyone will hate you, but you’re using the Grau, so you realize hatred is going be attached to you like a leech.

Light Machine Guns
Bruen MK9

Monolithic Suppressor
XRK Summit 26 6” Barrel
Laser- I hate you, go away
Solozero Optics Mini Reflex Scope
Commando Foregrip Underbarrel
60 Round Mags

The Bruen is an absolute monster in pretty much an iteration, but this one, in particular, gives you a special kind of devastation with it. You will essentially have the control of a Grau when using this setup. While the fire rate isn’t too exciting, the accuracy is astounding and the mobility compared to how you move with a normal LMG offers a ton of combat flexibility. The range with this loadout is also second to none and combining that with the accuracy creates some excellent long shot opportunities. While scopes can be pretty subjective, I like the Solozero optic because it’s a quick to aim scope with a clear sight on it for some easy precision shooting.

Shotguns
725

Monolithic Supressor Muzzle
Tempus smooth Bore
Tempus Sport Stock
Commando Foregrip Underbarrel
FORGE TAC Steady Grip Guard

Though this weapon has been nerfed already, that doesn’t matter too much as it’s still an absolute beast to use. The best part of this loadout is that you can basically shoot it like a sniper rifle. The accuracy is insane at long ranges and despite you not having a scope on it, the accuracy more than makes up for it. The damage is top-notch as well and this can be a unique setup to take with you if you see the end of games heading towards a more interior environment.

Submachine Guns
MP5

Subsonic Integral Barrel
Commando Foregrip Underbarrel
10mm Auto 30 Round Ammunition
Stippled Grip Tape Rear Grip
Sleight of Hand Perk

We all knew this was coming. The MP5 is the favorite among the submachine guns, but it’s when you really dig into the attachments that this little buzz saw shines through amongst the crowd. The accuracy is high in most setups, but the damage of this one is what really puts it above the crowd. When you combine the accuracy and the damage you really shouldn’t be losing any 1v1 battles. The mobility of this setup will have you flying around the map as well and the fire rate is about as good as it gets with no tweaking. You can choose to lose the sleight of hand perk for a higher fire rate attachment, but the ability to reload quickly is imperative during a warzone match.

Sniper Rifles
Sniper AX-50
Compensator Muzzle
32 0’ Factory Barrel
Variable Zoom Scope
Singuard Arms Assassin Stock
Granulated Grip Tape Rear Grip

The AX-50 is simply an insane weapon in the right hands and with this setup, you’re going to have players screaming at how you managed to hit them full sprint. The accuracy is borderline unfair and it allows you to basically hit any area you’re aiming for with little need to consider bullet delay. The range with this setup is also truly unfair and combined with a double zoom scope, you can take out players halfway across the map. You can opt to add a perk instead of the compensator, but there is plenty of ability in just this exact setup for whatever sniping scenario you desire.

So what are you loadouts like? Do you have better setups? Let’s see them below!

Memes 5 Underrated spots to drop in Call of Duty: Warzone

It’s not how you start, but how you finish. That’s an old adage that doesn’t mean a damn thing when it comes to Call of Duty: Warzone. It’s all about how you start. Yeah, you can make up your garbage starts by toughing it out in the Gulag, and maybe lucking out to get a loadout somewhere or surviving a most-wanted might rectify your team’s woes, but let’s be real here. You need to get off on the right foot and part of that means starting off in a place where you can get outfitted with some good gear, have some good cover, and get some good money. Everyone knows the best places to drop as well as the worst, but what about the underrated areas? I’m here to shed some light on those.

5. Storage Town
There’s nothing flashy about what’s going on here. Storage town is simple and grimy and nothing special, but do you know what it’s got in spades? Boxes baby! And that’s what we’re going to need to get our sorry ass teams off to the start they need to get to the promised lands. While you won’t find many legendary items here, the storage containers will have tons of medium quality options to get you started. In addition to some solid gear to get you going, the cover in this area is outstanding. Within each storage alcove is usually a cargo crate that you can take cover behind while you’re getting your loot fix in. You’d think with a name like Storage Town, players would be all over this place but from what I’ve seen, the place is open for business. If it’s in the circle or just outside, give it a shot and see if you can take advantage of all the goodies this place has. Or not, and continue to get smoked like a Christmas ham in the Superstore, your choice.

4. Karst River Quarry
Not the most popular kid in class, but Karst River Quarry has some fantastic benefits if you get there early. While you may see plenty of people drop nearby here, they never stay too long. It’s more of a run by area for players who may hit up a Buy Station and then dip out, but never a place that players stay too long. We’re going to drop here and try to drop on one of the gigantic depots inhabiting the area. The inside of these buildings are a myriad of hallways and pipes and stairs to make up one of the more visually confusing areas to navigate, but it’s what’s within the areas that make it so fruitful. If I manage to get to one of these buildings before the match gets too deep, I generally come out with a hefty sum of money in the $4000’s range. If you can survive the tension that mounts as you wander through the various hallways, your reward will be a hefty amount of loot as well as a great place to complete scavenger contracts and recon missions.

3. The Gora Dam
A certain amount of dread sets in when I see the circle start in the upper left quadrant is palpable. I am a garbage fire in this area of the map. I get sniped from mountains, roofs, and I have no bearing on where I am at any given moment, but all of you aren’t me, and luckily for you, this dam is stock full of treasure. If you decide to land here, you’ll be treated to endless areas with tons of items and cash to find. The main source of this is located within the dam itself which is a pain in the ass in itself to get to, so if you manage to land on the top section, you’ll be in good shape to pick up a quick $3000 at least as you comb the halls of the industrial interiors for the seemingly endless item boxes. In addition to this, dropping here will provide you a ton of areas to take cover and there are usually multiple buy stations located in the immediate area. During one round, I counted three within a two-minute walk of each other, so if you manage to get a scavenger near here, you’ll be able to quickly get your gear and get out.

2. Great Bridge
There are a few reasons this place is great to drop in. The first is that you simply aren’t going to encounter anybody here. It’s barely a location, except those in the know will be seeking the loot boxes that are generally located underneath the bridge and that’s the spot we’re going to drop. While you won’t outfit your whole team with anything special, it’s a solid place to hit right before you charge into the chaos of the Hospital or venture anywhere else. Again, it’s not the best spot to drop, but some players like their rounds to start off conflict-free where they can create a game plan without being thrust into battle the second they land. Under the bridge is where you’ll find that solace.

1. Downtown Tavorsk District
Although it’s located near the stadium which is essentially hell on earth, there are tons of benefits to dropping in this area. There are simply an insane amount of buildings that can give you a quick fix with an instant arsenal acquirement but that’s not the real gem of this area. The place to be in this district is the police station. Normally, you’ll find no less than 4 loot boxes in this area. The jail cells, the roof, the entrance area, and the upstairs locker area all usually have a chest to open, and to amplify this is the ever-convenient ammo restore station. This building gives a great vantage point of the area and gives you the ability to scope out snipers on nearby buildings. The police station is where I often find myself when it comes time to bunker down for the end of games, but it’s also a great place to start the round as well.

What are your favorite areas? Do you know of hidden gems nobody else knows about? Let’s talk about it below!

Call of Duty Maps We Want Back!

As with most games that turn into a series, Call of Duty has had some respectable maps. Some have also absolute busts and are noted as such, never to be talked about again. For the maps that have been praised and loved by the community though, we’ve seen special events dedicated to them, such as the 24/7 Nuketown playlist from the Black Ops games. Furthermore, we’ve seen maps recreated for future releases so players can have some nostalgic fun all over again. With the newest Call of Duty being released this fall, I decided to look back at all the maps that we want back in the next Call of Duty, after all of the new maps are released at the start.

1. Nuketown

There aren’t many maps there are as memorable as Nuketown. It’s been one of the most successful maps in the Black Ops series. All four of them to date have had some sort of Nuketown incorporated into them and we’ve seen all sorts of game modes played there, especially during the 24/7 playlists which would allow you to play the map continuously. If you ever saw the map as a choice in the Black Ops games, you’d see most if not all of the lobby flock their votes for it, usually doing the same after the game to get it a second time in a row. I don’t think it’ll ever be different and this map will always be one of the most loved maps of all time.

2. Terminal

An MW2 map that always had players enjoying it. Trickshotters, competitive players, and regular players alike were always playing Terminal with few to no complaints (unless they weren’t doing well). There was enough space to move around while also being close-quarter enough that players could meet all of their regular FPS needs in one map. It was brought back in future CoD’s and it certainly should be brought back when Cold War gets released!

3. Rust

It’s tough to find a player that doesn’t know the map, Rust. It’s another MW2 map that has been brought back to plenty of Call of Duties (even Mobile got it). Its compact size helps players enjoy a constant chaotic state while not being too small like Shipment, which everyone complains about. The only issue with the map now is that the colors blend too much in the newest Call of Duty, making every map overall poorly made, though the nostalgic feeling of playing on Rust will always overcome the problems created by the developers.

4. Hijacked

The boat we all learned to love since Black Ops 2 is the 4th on my list for many reasons. First off, the map is rather symmetrical which many people seem to approve of quite a bit. It has enough open area in the middle while also giving you options to remain covered by walls (which are penetrable). Additionally, this was one of the maps that became notorious for trickshotters in terms of suicide trickshots. Players would stand on the outer edges of the boat and jump off with their snipers, hoping for a spinning noscope to land so they can have some insane bragging rights to their friends. Bringing Hijacked back again could revive the trickshotting community by itself!

5. Firing Range

It’s been a long time since we’ve played Black Ops but probably not so long since we had a fond memory on the map. CoD Mobile included the map into their rotation and plenty of people enjoyed the map for its plethora of hiding spots and open fighting. Trickshotting was also popular here and there were probably more ladder-stall trickshots on this map than any other map. Plenty of great memories to remember with the potential for so many more if it gets brought back.

6. Highrise

This was the MOST popular trickshotting map for a very long time. All sorts of other games have recreated the map for their players’ enjoyment and Treyarch should strongly consider it for Black Ops: Cold War. Though it comes from MW2, an Infinity Ward game, we’d definitely all love to see the countless suicide trickshots being attempted off of the giant crane, along with having the chance to play the game just to go down memory lane one more time.

7. Resistance

A potentially forgotten MW3 map that everyone enjoyed for so many reasons was Resistance. The map took place in some more city-like or town-like location which was popular for its amazing sniping clips. Players were always respawning down one of the long roads and had to use cars or walls for cover. Players can probably vividly remember the connecting road that was not only the shortest, but the deadliest and most watched one in the game. Going down that street between the shop and the elevated outdoor cafe was MW3’s own version of a “No Man’s Land” and had many players cheering and others crying, all at the same time.

8. Favela

MW2 is up on the list again with Favela. Though I never personally enjoyed the map, it was one of the most popular, especially amongst content creators who were beginning careers from playing video games. Many FaZe members had extremely memorable trickshots on this map just like many other teams’ players did. This map is one of those maps that if you asked a content creator one of their top 25 clips of all time, you’d see it pop up at least once because of how amazing it was. I genuinely think we need a remake of it to make everyone happy.

9. Dome (Both of Them)

We have two maps in the 9th spot because they’re both amazing and both have the same name. Dome from MW3 was full of insanity and MOABs that left some players mocking the other team over their mics while others were smashing controllers or leaving the game before they got too far into it. The gamemode didn’t matter here because of how small it was and because of the hectic close-quarter action it came with. Though the rage may not be missed, the countless memories are still worth noting and bringing back somewhat.

The other Dome I’m hoping could make a comeback someday is the one from World at War. It was a well shaped and sized map that had plenty to offer and it’s by far one of my favorite maps of all time in the game’s franchise. The only thing that stops me from thinking the map will EVER be brought back is because of the time period the entire game took place during. World at War brought players to the WWII time period which means Black Ops Cold War may not want to incorporate because of the time frame. There may also be symbols that were popularized in WWII that may be found inappropriate for the Cold War time frame as well as the present, as well. Still, I’d love to have the map back for a round 2.

10. Scrapyard

Finally we’ve come to Scrapyard. I played it for the first time in Modern Warfare, though it originates from MW2. I can still remember some awesome clips I’ve seen from the map including ladder stall crossmap throwing knives, which were some of my favorites. The map is fun to play in the newest CoD and seems easy to reuse over and over without the worry of it ever becoming boring. I’d definitely enjoy having this one come back over and over again for the next few years, even.

There’s plenty of other maps I wanted to put on the list but these were the ones I thought of right away. I’d love to hear what your favorite maps were from the Call of Duty franchise and which should be brought back. Also feel free to mention what maps were the worst in the game’s history, as I’m sure there’s plenty that we can all remember that were horrible ideas (Stonehaven…). I’ll be excited to hear from you down below!
