I bought the game around 2/3 weeks ago..
But i recently found out that i get a game key with 30 days subscription on Twitch Prime..
I can't use it myself anymore, so i am willing to give this away to someone that really want to check out the game. I am not sure how i can do this the best. Final Fantasy 14’s base game is free for Twitch Prime users until May
If you ever wanted to get into the popular MMORPG Final Fantasy 14, now is your chance, as the game is free for Twitch Prime users on Windows, which started 3 weeks ago until May 3rd.
In the base game, you can play up to level 50 and do all the content before the first Heavensward expansion. The Twitch Prime offer also gives 30 days of play time, which is more than enough time to get one or more of your favorite jobs to level 50. (The best part about Final Fantasy 14 is that your one character can be every job. No need to make alternate characters!)
The usual free trial for this game only allows players to get jobs to level 35 and participate in the story up until that level. It also restricts the use of linkshells (ways to communicate with your friends) and free companies (guilds).
The starter edition is worth $19.99 normally, so you might as well claim the code while you can. A free game is a free game!
Be aware that in order to play certain jobs, like Red Mage or Astrologian, you’ll have to buy the game’s expansions.
Note that Final Fantasy 14 is a subscription based game, so once your free 30 days run out, you’ll have to pay $12.99 per month to keep playing your one character, and $14.99 per month if you end up wanting to make more than one. Thankfully, your characters won’t be deleted even if you don’t re subscribe to the game.
This promotion is likely to get more players ready for the upcoming Shadowbringers expansion, which will be released on July 2nd for Mac, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC.
Final Fantasy 16 Should Go Back To Straightforward Fantasy, Final Fantasy 14 Director Says
Final Fantasy 16 is definitely quite far from release, with Square Enix now focusing on Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Naoki Yoshida, director of Final Fantasy 14, would like to see a different direction for the next main entry in the series.
Speaking at the Final Fantasy 14 Paris Fan Festival, the director has been asked about the next entry in the series. He stated that he would like the game to feature a more straightforward fantasy approach.
As already mentioned, Square Enix is now focusing on the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Development has been proceeding smoothly, according to the developer, but they have been facing challenges due to the switch to an action battle system.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Dev Describes Challenges Caused by the Game’s Action Makeover
After years of rumors and pleading from fans, Square Enix finally announced Final Fantasy 7 Remake at E3 2015, but since then additional information has been somewhat scarce. Final Fantasy 7 Remake producer Yoshinori Kitase insists the project is progressing smoothly, but development clearly isn’t moving at a particularly fast pace. Why are things coming along so slowly?
Well, Square Enix team planner Shinichiro Biwa shed some light on the Final Fantasy 7 Remake development process in a Japanese interview posted last year, but just partially translated now. Basically, the process is slow because of the decision to reimagine Final Fantasy 7 as an action RPG. While turn based battles allow level designers to cheat to a certain degree, real time battles mean stages now have to be completely redesigned to accommodate the movement of characters and enemies. It all sounds like a rather arduous process, with each newly remade location having to go through three steps...
• Part 1: Interpretation of the locations from the original Final Fantasy 7
• Part 2: Planning modifications/additions and alterations to the location, then getting them approved through meetings as well as deciding how much resources are needed
• Part 3: Actually implementing the above, then polishing up the location
Before they begin constructing a new area, everything, from characters, to enemies, animations, and all objects and assets used in the scene have to be created and approved. Only then can the stages actually be built, tweaked, and polished. According to Biwa, the planning/making of assets was already completed as of summer 2018, and the building of the world has begun.
So, when will Final Fantasy 7 Remake finally arrive? It’s impossible to say for sure from the outside, but it sounds like Square Enix are really pouring a lot of a care and attention into the game. Fingers crossed it launches sometime this year, but I’ll admit I have my doubts.

Any tips for a level 27 starter?
Heya everybody!
I learned a lot about the game the last week by watching videos and some kind people in the game that helped me out with some tips and dungeons and so on. I am playing in the Louisoix server. And I started about 2 weeks ago. I am level 27 and I am enjoying the game alot. Only problem is that I am in a very small FC and I choose a DPS class which makes it pretty hard to find dungeons and party's for other things. I am a Archer level 27, and focus mainly on Quests and Dungeons. Any tips for me to make the game more enjoyable if I can't find any party's? Or any tips in general to level faster and unlock some cool and important things and so on will be highly appreciated!
I really want to level and get very good in the game so I can join some big active FC so the game will be more enjoyable.

I started playing Final Fantasy XIII:Lightning Returns yesterday, and here is my main thought.
Holy god, Lightning is so boring. She has the personality of sandpaper. I don't get why Square Enix made her such a boring character. I like playing games like Final Fantasy for the character personalities and the story.
Don't get me wrong, I love the story, but holy god the game is ruined for me because of the lack of personality in the TITLE. CHARACTER. Hell, even the airships have more personality than she does.
Other than the terrible personality in the main character, it is a great game.

Final Fantasy Digital Card Coming to PC, in Japan at Least
Square Enix has revealed a digital card game inspired by Final Fantasy, due to start a beta test in Japan this month. There has been no word yet if the game will come to other regions for beta testing or upon release. The game has players compete in turn-based battles where you place characters and monsters on a grid-like board.

Final Fantasy XV Episode Ardyn is on the way, and the logo has been revealed. They're revealing a trailer tomorrow😉 I haven't played FFXV myself but am kinda interested in watching this. Although the DLCs for the game has been cancelled, Square Enix is at least showing their interest in continuing the FFXV franchise. What do you guys think?

Square Enix has come up with a collaboration between FFXV and FFXIV, and it looks SICK! The best part of all is that it's free! I don't know if there'll be updates for FFXIV as well, but apparently, this is available for all FFXV players!
