[Tips] 18 Things FF7 Remake Doesn't Tell U
1. The dodges you perform don’t actually have many (if any) invincibility frames. Meaning, you can’t roll through attacks and take no damage. Running and dodging together is more helpful to avoid attacks outright, but try to get the hang of relying on guarding!
2. You can set your abilities to quick commands in Battle Settings if you want to avoid menus during combat. However, using the Command menu may make it easier to aim at the correct enemy.
3. While Abilities are executed automatically after picking your target,it can fail if the enemy isn't within range, dodges it, or if another enemy gets in the way and blocks the attack. You can also be interrupted if you get hit! Abilities aren't guaranteed to land so be careful not to waste your ATB.
4. Using one item at a time is slow. Hold L1 when you’re using items to stay in the menu and keep using them, repeatedly. This is especially useful in-between battles when you have a lot of health to recover.
5. There isn’t exactly a best weapon for each character, rather, they all excel at different things. For example, Cloud’s Hardedge is extremely suited for physical attacks. Choose the weapon best for your playstyle and party comp.
6. Every time you level up, all of your weapons gain the SP they need to upgrade. Nope, you don’t have to use them to earn SP, and new weapons will retroactively gain SP when you get them, so make sure to upgrade weapons often.
7. If you see a quest with a green marker on your map, that means it’s a side quest. Though not necessary, we suggest you do them anyway for some extra items - like new accessories - you may find as a reward.
8. Press L2 to cycle between your mini-map, compass, or nothing at all.
9. You’ll occasionally find a blocked path or an item you can’t reach just yet. These objectives are added as “discoveries” in purple on your map. Most of these are optional, but you should do your best to solve them in order to earn useful items like Materia. Check out our walkthrough for details on how to accomplish these.
10. In Chapter 3, Chadley will give you the Assess materia, which lets you learn an enemy’s weaknesses and tactics. Once you’ve used Assess on an enemy at least once, just press the touchpad while in battle to view this information again.
11. It’s worth it to explore every nook and cranny to find hidden chests and even dingy Shinra boxes. Some of these chests have rare accessories, or even weapons you can’t get anywhere else.
12. The Shinra boxes will keep you stocked up on items like potions and ethers, but keep in mind, they’re randomly populated. So where your friend might find a tuft of phoenix down, you could get a Moogle Medal.
13. Moogle Medals can also be found in some set chest locations, but as we said, they’re randomly put in Shinra boxes. These can be used at a special vendor for items later on in Chapter 8. The most exciting of these items are probably the books, which grant each character skill points to improve weapons.
14. Don’t sell extra materia, unless you see you can easily repurchase it at a shop. Materia can be rare, and it sometimes helps to have multiple characters equip the same magic materia when a boss is weak to it, or double up on materia like HP UP for extra benefits.
15. You don’t have to actually use Materia for it to accrue AP and get better - it just has to be equipped by an active character.
16. Chadley will show up in other major towns as you proceed, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to turn in Battle Intel Reports and buy new Materia (or obtain new Summons).
17. Battle Intel Reports can be completed before you have even been asked to participate in them. Fight enemies in a variety of different ways, and the next time you see Chadley, you may instantly gain access to several brand new Materia types.
18. Don’t worry, if you haven’t maxed out all your Materia or found every weapon by the end of the game, you’ll be able to go back via a chapter select option after credits roll!

Square Enix reveals new Final Fantasy 7 Remake screenshots to go along with its growing collection, and this screenshots include several new characters that will be making their first-ever appearances in the Final Fantasy 7 universe when Remake debuts. The three new characters called Madam M, Chocobo Sam, and Leslie Kyle, who Square affectionately described as Don Corneo's lackey. Final Fantasy 7 Remake will launch on April 10, 2020, for the PlayStation 4.

He’s a young man, he has the attitude of a "curmudgeon," or a bad-tempered old man. His apathetic attitude and deadpan look make his colleagues proud to associate with him, making his status the opposite of the new SOLDIER character, Roche.
🔶Madam M
Similar to the returning character Andrea Rhodea, Madam M holds a position of power in Corneo's organization and can approve women to audition for the role of his "wife" for the night. According to Square Enix, while running her parlor, M only shows courtesy to those with deep pockets.
🔶Chocobo Sam
As his name implies, Sam's job deals with handling Chocobos, which he does through a delivery service cleverly called "Sam's Delivery." He can approve women auditioning for Don Corneo's wife, effectively making Leslie the only new character that can't. Sam is described as someone who loves to gamble and enjoys the rush it gives him more than the money he can win.

Mobius Final Fantasy will shut Down on June
Mobile RPG game Mobius Final Fantasy was launched in Japan. Square Enix is discontinuing worldwide support for it finally. According to the announcement, Mobius Final Fantasy is able to play until Jun 30 at 6p.m.. Players could purchase the Magicite currency until March 31 at 8.p.m, and it will be possible to use it before the game shut down. Square Enix made an effort to move complete Final Fantasy experience into mobile version, the game got winning awards from the App Store and Google Play in 2016, and reached over 20 million downloads worldwide.

Square Enix finally announced to the world a remake would be coming out for the PlayStation 4. The Tokyo Game Show is taking place this week, which means we’re getting tons of new game trailers. This morning, Square Enix shared a new trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 remake. The trailer primarily focused on characters that will be in the game. Characters we see include Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Aerith, Sephiroth, the Turks, Reno, Rude, and even Tseng.
