How to Get out of a rut in Call of Duty: Warzone
So you’re in your 5th month of Call of Duty: Warzone and by now, you think “ I should be an expert by now right?” Yet, coming off a week where you collected 2 wins in 4 days, you think you’re on top of the world, don’t you? I’ve finally figured this shit out! Grau? Hah! You can’t touch me and my aiming and trigger finger are singing the same damn tune finally. I’m ready to dominate….but then something happens. The next day that is. You sign back on and you think it’s going to go your way again. But this is a whole new batch of players, your glow has faded and all of a sudden your fingers have less chemistry than Luka Doncic and Montrez Harrell. What do you do? The losses pile up and your top ten finishes become struggles to crack the top 40.
Where do you turn? Do you watch streamers nonstop in hope of mastering the strategies they’ve come up with? Are you going to ditch your team and seek out new people to play with? Nah, don’t go crazy. You’ve been to the mountain top before, this is how you get back there.
Simple right? Even still, it can be the most crucial thing to remember when venturing into Verdansk. At the start of games, you might be scrambling immediately to get those scavengers before they disappear. RELAX. There are plenty to go around and there’s no point in grabbing a scavenger if you’re going to be shot by 100 people two seconds later. Floating above the map is a great way to get a lay of the land without diving right in and also seeing what scavengers are most dangerous to land by. Even if you don’t manage to grab one, the loot train, the superstore, the airplane hangars are all available for you to find all the money and ammo and weapons you could possibly want. You’re going to be eager to get back into the fight the more times you win at this game, it’s human nature. Fight that nature by getting your team to slow everything down and it will benefit you in the long run.
Try picking up some bounties
While Bounties are generally among the riskiest of the activities to engage in when it comes to Warzone, they can actually be pretty lucrative in ways you don’t expect. While you’re able to fully hunt down whatever team you have the bounty on and take all of their money and items, there’s also an alternative use from them. If you pick up a bounty, that means a team is marked for you, this automatically gives you the location of a nearby threat, so you can safely stay away from that area if you choose. The other great thing about bounties is if that team is killed off while your bounty is active, guess what? FREE MONEY. That’s right, you’ll get a couple a grand each just for sitting on your ass while another team does your work for you. Doing this several times throughout a match can give you some truly absurd cash totals and it’s a strategy my team and I just picked up for the first time and to it’s been working wonders.
Switch up your attachments
Feeling like you just can’t take out anybody no matter what you do? Your aim is suddenly horrendous and you don’t know whether to go prone, jump around like a douche or try mounting mid-fight. Don’t give up on your gun too quickly. While a gun change could be useful depending on what you have, a simple rearranging of the attachments can work wonders for you. For example, if your gun is doing a ton of damage but the accuracy is spotty, lose those damage boosts, and start focusing on attachments that increase stability. Damage is great and everything, but it doesn’t mean anything at all if you can’t control where your shots are going. A weapon that fires a straight and control shot will always kill faster than a super-powerful gun firing random sprays at someone. You can also switch up your perks as well. Have you been a slave to FMJ for the false damage boost it claims to give you? Ditch that for another attachment that can add accuracy, stability or maybe even an extended clip size. There are so many ways to change up how the guns in this game work that the combinations are nearly endless.
So, what do you do when you’re in a rut? Do you switch up strategy? Change loadouts? Or just take a break from the game altogether? Let’s talk about it below!
Best Rifle Loadout in CoD Mobile!
What makes a loadout the absolute best in a game? Well, it should be easy to get hits with, be strong enough to kill in a few shots, and should also not have any hindering defects that will make playing with it difficult. Since BEFORE the update, I was rocking the best possible gun the game allowed me to make and now AFTER the update, it’s still the best rifle I can create. I present to you the best Rifle loadout that you can possibly use right now in CoD Mobile!
(Here's a video if you're interested in watching rather than reading through!)
First off, let’s look at the rifles. We want something that is already pretty accurate, has a nice fire rate, and doesn’t have severe problems anywhere else in its stats. I went with the ICR-1 because it’s standing at a 69 base accuracy. It also has a sweet 60 fire rate and is overall a well rounded weapon. The only honorable mention I have is the M16 because of its overall better stats besides a tied mobility and slower fire rate. While using it though, I find the burst fire to be a nuisance because it gives too much time for enemies to react and get the kill on you if your first burst doesn’t kill.
Now, onto the attachments. We’ll be trying to make the ICR-1 as viable from long range as possible. So, we’ll work on getting a better ADS Bullet Spread reduction. I also have two alternatives to the attachments. One for optic users and one for players like me who hate using any sort of optic attachments.
Let’s head over to the Barrel. The OWC Marksman increases the range, control, and accuracy of the gun while only hurting your mobility slightly. Mobility won’t matter when you’re shooting enemies down at long range and when you’re also running an overpowered pistol loadout, also (which I’ll make a post for soon)! The Marksman provides better increases in stats from its competition, so we’re keeping it.
Now let’s look at the stock. Before the update, the stock made this gun go from a 76 to an 86 overall accuracy. Now, we’re moving to the RTC Steady Stock for another 7 accuracy bonus, putting you at 82, now! The mobility drops again but as mentioned earlier, the benefits outweigh the problems.
Now let’s add a laser. All of them help your accuracy and mobility. I use the OWC Laser - Tactical because it offers the highest increase for accuracy. It’s better to have this than the RTC Laser 1mW because though you have a visible laser, the 1mW only offers a hip fire accuracy increase while the OWC helps your ADS Speed and your ADS Bullet Spread Accuracy. Huge plus in the direction we need!
Next up is the Underbarrel. The Ranger Foregrip is my choice with the control and accuracy bump. The others are all ranging in good to very good but I’m telling you that for what we want, the Ranger Foregrip is THE foregrip for us to use!
Finally, we have a Rear Grip. The only one that helps our Accuracy is the Granulated Grip Tape. So… choose that! Now your ICR-1 is sitting at an astounding 98 overall accuracy, 63 range, and 75 control, meanwhile your mobility drops to 52 overall. This is a VERY great loadout for an iron sight user like myself. You’ll be capable of sniping players with the AR across Highrise if you’d like (trust me, I tried and succeeded)! BUT, for the optic users, what’s the best attachment to swap out for your sight? The answer is the Rear Grip. Both the rear grip and the barrel will offer the same accuracy from a 98 to a 92 but the barrel removal also decreases your range and controls (buffing your mobility slightly, also). You need those to work together to have such a strong weapon. So no matter which optic you choose, swap out the rear grip and you’re good to go!
So there you have it! The best possible Rifle class you can use at this very moment (if you’ve leveled the gun up enough for the attachments)! Hopefully this helps you with ammo conservation, accuracy, and your overall performance! Enjoy the new overpowered loadout and good luck out there!
CoD Mobile's HUGE Update!
Yes, CoD Mobile just got a HUGE update! Because of it, I'll be grinding away at all of the various changes and sharing with everyone my progression through the new features the game is offering us. But, before any of that, let's talk about what changed and what got added. I'm only going to go over the Multiplayer for now since there is so much at the moment but Battle Royale fans stay tuned! Now, right into the updates!
First on the list is Gunsmith. This is the biggest feature in the new update that will have players going crazy. We finally have the ability to add 5 attachments to our weapons rather than 3 attachments and then an optic. Also, we have up to 9 different areas of the gun that we can change around to make our weapons fully customizable. This has already led to quite a few amazing classes being made and an absolutely overpowered class that I've made (I'll be covering that soon). Because of Gunsmith, we'll be seeing a lot of cool weapon variations that will lead to a whole lot of strange yet awesome guns! I'm hyped about this one!
The next thing I'm going to go over is the camo update. This one is monumental, especially for content creators like me who have always wanted to grind a "Road To" video! Currently, I'm working on leveling each weapon up to unlock various camo challenges that ultimately lead to a Gold camo for the weapon! Complete everything in a set (Snipers, Pistols, Shotguns, Etc.) and you'll be rewarded with a Platinum camo for every gun in that type! I've already gotten my ICR-1 to gold and my pistols to Platinum in about 24 hours! This isn't easy at all, though. I just know how to use these particular weapons EXTREMELY well, so I had the advantage on them! Get to work on those camos! Big bragging right opportunity!
The next things I'll list are all over the place. Rather than put them into their own separate categories since they're so dispersed, I'll just mention them one at a time and you can form your opinions on what you think of them.
1. Shadow Blade was added as a Specialist. The weapon allows you to run and roll around, slashing anyone in your path with a one-shot blade. It's ridiculously overpowered but, then again, what specialist isn't? It also allows you to see through a smoke you drop (and all smokes, maybe?).
2. Equalizer was added as a Specialist. They're pretty much two suppressed pistols used Akimbo-style. Great for close quarter combat apparently, though I haven't used them and I haven't seen them used, yet. No opinion yet.
3. Molotov added as a Lethal option. This is the most annoying thing so far as players are just throwing fire onto objectives all the time now and the commentator for the matches says "Be careful, enemy molotov" at least once every 30 seconds, probably.
4. Thermite added as a Lethal option. It's not being used yet but there's a lot of hope for this one once players start using it. More fire added to the game. Yay!
5. Overkill and Restock added as Perk 1 options. Unless they were there earlier and I was just blind, these two were added amd now you can have two primary weapons or recharge equipment over 25 seconds which can be handy, especially for camo hunters who are using Overkill!
6. Quick Fix and Amped added as Perk 2 options. Again, I don't remember these being around. Now, with Quick Fix, you can heal after every kill practically and also getting objective captures and holds grants faster health regen. As for Amped, you can now swap and reload quicker (except for pistols and melee weapons).
7. Engineer and High Alert added as Perk 3 options. These are the last perks I didn't realize prior to the update. Engineer is the typical one you'd see in other CoDs. You can reveal enemy equipment and scorestreaks while also having the ability to reroll care packages for friendlies. The problem I see with that is you can't see what friendly care packages contain soooooo... how does that work? As for High Alert though, you can now get some vision pulsing when enemies see you outside of your sight. More helpful than that is the ability to mark equipment and scorestreaks that the enemies you just by aiming at it. SUPER useful!
8. Weapons have been added to the game. Though I'm not sure of every exact weapon added, some unfamiliar ones pop up in the SMG such as the QQ9 and the Pharo. I never saw the Chopper in the LMG section before. In the Assault Rifles, something seems off by the HVK-30 and DR-H (I cannot confirm these so please do if you know!). The Shotguns have the KRM 262 which I've never seen before. And finally there's the DEFINITELY new weapon... the Kilo Bolt-Action set as a new weapon class, the "Marksman" (I love it).
9. The Store has new things as with every update CoD Mobile receives.
10. Players can now change their reticules by completing challenges with previous reticules (which can be found out by pressing "acquire" on a locked reticule). Also, players can add stickers and a charm on their weapon in the customization option (these have no advantage in the game when being used/not used).
11. Players can make 4 blueprints for every gun so they can easily recreate it on a different loadout.
12. Players now have 10 loadout slots.
13. In the Gunsmith screen, there is a little lightbulb icon that can be pressed to show players 3 suggestions for the weapon they are on, made by the developers I assume.
14. Many UI changes to make things easier to find.
15. The new featured game modes are: 10v10, Small Map Slayer, Gun Game Moshpit, and Best of TDM
-10v10 is Played on Meltdown, Crossfire, and Takeoff with the game modes TDM and Domination
-Small Map Slayer is played on Shipment, Killhouse, Nuketown, and Rust (Not sure of the game modes at the moment)
-Gun Game Moshpit is played on almost all maps (except for Gulag, Saloon, and Tunisia) as a team Gun Game. First team with a winner gets the win OR the team with the most kills at the end of the time limit
-Best of TDM is played on Summit, Raid, Scrapyard, Crossfire, Firing Range, Crash, and Nuketown
16. There is now a Practice game mode for players to experience in a Practice Range
17. Ranked now allows players to choose which game modes they queue for from TDM, Domination, Hardpoint, and S&D. This is a return from a previous update that I greatly support but also question a bit.
18. Shield Turret added as a Scorestreak.
If there's anything I missed then please let me know! These are ONLY the Multiplayer updates! I'll be covering Battle Royale soon! If you have any questions or comments then let me know and I will happily get back to you as fast as I can! Let me know what your plans are for the new update and what gun you're grinding for gold/platinum for, first! See you all on the battlefield!
The Best Killstreaks to have Early in Call of Duty: Warzone
Having an amazing start at Call of Duty: Warzone can really help you and your team propel forward to the last circle. In the beginning, there are a lot of teams that do not end up gaining momentum, and they usually suffer during mid or late-game scenarios. However, if you have that momentum from the get-go, the chances of you succeeding till the end increase rapidly. In order to gain that head start, here are some of the best killstreaks that can help you boost your performance early on in the game.
The first one is the loadout drop marker. Of course, you’d have to have a loadout that is not only offensively dangerous but also fits your playing style. At the beginning of games, good loot is hard to find, depending on where you are on the map. However, it will rarely beat the loadouts that you may have customized to your liking. By already getting the best guns for you and your teammates, you instantly become one of the most weaponized and heavily packed squad on the map. Each and every one of you has your preferred attachments, secondaries, tacticals, and lethals, as well as perks that suit your particular play style. Having that custom loadout at the beginning of each game will give you this upper hand against other players with guns that they barely know how to use.
The second best killstreak to have is the UAV. The beginning of the game represents the time when the Call of Duty: Warzone map is packed the most. There are still over 125 players on the map, and the gas has barely started moving yet. Given that, regardless of where you are, there is a huge chance that an enemy team will be right by you. Having that UAV handy will show how safe or dangerous each area is, given that there are still so many active players in the Map. With that, you and your team can make a lot more informed decisions on where to loot, camp, or start pushing. For example, if you see an area condensed with 8 enemies, it is a good choice to stray away from that. On the other hand, if there is an area with only 3 enemies in a house, it would be a good choice to go for them given they are one man down.
Finally, the third-best killstreak to have is the cluster airstrike. Due to the high volume of players in the game, a cluster airstrike will deem itself useful in a lot of encounters. As compared to only 50 or fewer players in the second circle, having 100s of players on the map gives you more chances to use the cluster airstrike. One of the most awesome aspects of the airstrike is that it can be used swiftly, without really being precise. In a high-risk early game situation, this is the perfect fallback option for your team to run to safety from a squad that is fully armored and weaponized.

How to Survive Call of Duty: Warzone’s Rumble
Call of Duty: Warzone’s Rumble has come into a quick rise in popularity in many of its fanbase communities, from YouTube to Reddit. A lot of players are quick to be amazed by the sheer size of the player pool as well as its decreased size in playing space, making it the perfect setup for close encounters. However, due to the infinite lives aspect, where one cannot really die in the game, it has become a shootout of snipers across the horizon. Here is how to survive the chaos.
First, play to the game’s nature. Since a lot of the game is sniping, make sure that your loadout includes at least one sniper. Personally, I love using the HDR with its thermal scope, which makes it great to distinguish between my enemies and teammates. Further, I can see more effectively at the long-distance, allowing me to have a clear tactical advantage over snipers who do not have the thermal scope. Do not try and be a ground warrior, chasing down enemies like you would in a Battle Royale Match. Since Rumble is a sniper’s arena, use that to your advantage.
Second, know where your spots are. Every player is going to be different. Sometimes, a spot in a mid-elevation shack works best. Sometimes, the towers are going to work best. Depending on your play style as a sniper and unique skillset, the location that you will camp on is going to differ greatly, map by map. For example, in the Airport, I am always by hills, trying to flank other players. However, near the downtown area, I always go by the gray tower, sniping off my enemies left and right.
Third, is to genuinely have fun by realizing that you have multiple respawns. Most of the time, when I took it seriously, considering there was a scoreboard, I kept on dying at the hands of snipers and other corner campers. However, when I adapted to the long-range aspect of the game, I realized that this game mode is a great avenue to upgrade your weapons given the number of kills you can potentially get. Your number of deaths don’t matter to your progress, only the amount of kills and assists do. Use this offensive aspect of Warzone’s rumble to just play around with your weapons and have fun. Unlike Battle Royale, where there is a Win or Loss at higher stakes, this is the place to let loose and let the nature of the game take its course.
Ultimately, surviving in Rumble will be very hard to maintain, considering the massive amounts of people and small map size. However, to counter that, know your spots in the map and do not be a ground warrior, making you easier to hit. Finally, treat Rumble as one of Warzone’s less serious game modes, and instead as an easy and effective way to upgrade your weapons.

The AN-94 is such a good gun
If only it was in a past CoD like BO2 or something.
How to make a shotgun loadout that actually works
Ah, the shotgun in first-person shooters, a novelty for years only appreciated by the most hardcore and dedicated players out there. In Call of Duty, traditionally the shotgun has had a decent place in the world of team deathmatch. Close quarters were perfect for these weapons for years, but then Warzone came out and everyone seemingly forgot about ole’ blast your face. There’s hope though for you shotgun crazies out there. Here’s how to make a shotgun loadout that actually works in Call of Duty: Warzone.
First off, we’re going to need a specific kind of shotgun to get us going. The options aren’t the most numerous, but it’s important to know just what kind of shotgun we’re going to take with us here. My weapon of choice when it comes to close range encounters is the Origin 12. This thing is an absolute monster on its own and that’s before we start outfitting it with attachments. It’s part of the rapid-fire shotgun family, so immediately we know we’re going to find a use for it in Call of Duty: Warzone where fire rate is king. This is how we’re going to do our attachments for it.
We’re going with this barrel because of one reason. Range. While it’s going to lessen your damage output a bit, it’s going to turn those massive wide spraying blasts into tighter for focused shots that will allow you to basically snipe people with your shotgun. This one is preference based but it definitely is worth trying out if you’re going to use the shotgun as your primary gun in Warzone.
Same deal as the barrel, we’re going to use the Choke to increase that range and lessen the spread even more, slowly turning the Origin 12 into a rifle that can take down an enemy in one-two well placed hits.
Forget the stock
We don’t need it. All the stock will do here is slow us down and while it might improve our aiming time, it’ll significantly decrease how fast we can move around and speed is the name of the game when you’re storming an enemy team holed up in a building somewhere. You’re going to want to be able to move in and out of cover as fast as possible and it helps to disorient a team when you fly in there like a bat out of hell and kill two of them before popping out a window before they even realized what happened.
Stippled Grip- Rear Grip
Stippled Grip is going to do one thing, make you faster. This loadout is all about speed and range and the Stippled Grip is excellent for that when stacked with other attachments that do the same thing as we have above. It will lessen your control a little a bit, but that’s okay because we’ve already narrowed down the pellet spray with the Choke. With this attached, we’re reaching Olympic sprinter status in how fast we’re going to be able to go and the fast you move, the harder it will be for enemy teams to aim at you while you’re shredding them to pieces with this setup.
25 round drum mag
Don’t mess around here. The 25 round drum mag is an absolute must when it comes to taking the Origin 12 into Call of Duty: Warzone as your main weapon. Considering this is a rapid-fire weapon, those 25 rounds are incredibly useful when facing down a whole four-player squad indoors or out. They’ll expect you to reload and at that point, they’ll already be dead as you light them up with glee. Yes, this will lessen your mobility a bit, but that’s why we used the previous attachments to boost it so much. Trust me, once you’re wielding this thing with a full 25 round clip, you won’t even think about how much speed you’re giving up.
Optional VLK 3.0 Optic
You’d be surprised how effective a long-range scope can be on a shotgun, but with the VLK 3.0 Optic, you’re essentially turning the Origin 12 into a mid-range rifle that would effectively make it the best of its kind in the game. A scope is not a must here as it will lower your mobility and control, which is what the above attachments are there for, but if you see yourself getting into some mid to long-range fights down the stretch and you’re still sticking to the shotgun, this scope is the way to go.
Optional Perk Frangible- Disabling
There is nothing more satisfying than popping up on someone in Call of Duty: warzone and hitting them once in the legs (this is a must) with a shotgun, only to see them try and sprint away to get some distance from you, all just to find out that they can’t sprint away. Using this perk will turn your enemy into a slow-footed zombie after you rock them with a blast and it’s a great way to quickly disable a team. You’re going to have to sacrifice in other areas if you want this special ability.
This is all we’re going to need to turn this 8-pump chump into a fire breathing Dragon on steroids. It’s unorthodox sure, but I doubt your teammates will complain when you 1 v 4 a team by yourself using this swiss cheesemaker.
So how do you outfit your shotgun? Do you focus on mobility? Or make sure it’s the most accurate thing ever while spewing incendiary rounds?

Any launcher tips?
I'm only 15 guns away from damascus but wanna leave the more fun ones for the end. I've been avoiding the launchers but managed to gold on the first one. But I cannot for the life of me do shit with the second one, sometimes my shots will hit an enemy but never anything in the air and rarely does it seem to even explode when I shoot it at the ground, seems to only kill enemies with direct shots. Any tips getting all the camos with it when I can't even use it? Its called like stella-p or somethin. Will confirm in comments when I get back online.
