PopularHUGE NEW LFG FEATURES AND FORTNITE INTEGRATION - NOW - IN MOOT V2.2!

Hello everyone!
FIRST THINGS FIRST!

Your Fortnite stats can now be directly integrated into Moot!
That's right! When you set up an LFG post (which we'll discuss further down this post), adding your game ID will show your Fortnite stats!

When browsing the LFG page, posts will look like this*:
*Banner color will vary depending on username color. You can purchase more username colors in the Moot shop with your Moot coins!

When selecting a post, you'll see the following:
The users' game ID, verification (✔) and all the info you need to get started!

If you tap on the "Stats" button, you'll see a stats page, like this:

If you haven’t noticed (or updated your app - go do it now if you haven’t!) looking for teammates is all new and improved - this streamlined experience will help you find the right squad faster than ever before!

When visiting Looking For Teammates, you’ll see the changes right away:
At the top you can now filter what sort of shenanigans you want to get into based on a bunch of different criteria: Platform and Mode

(The following screenshots are in iOS!)

Platform:

Mode:

Additionally, when you tap the post button in Looking For Teammates, it’ll automatically bring up an LFG template for you to use:

Which brings us into the next part of this post...

HOW TO USE THE LFG FEATURES!

FIRST AND FOREMOST, Go to the Looking For Teammates section and slam that Post button, which looks like this, except less pixelated:
Once you've done that, follow these steps to get your teammate-seeking started:

1. CHOOSE A PLATFORM
Pick the platform you play on, and want to find your teammates on.

2. SELECT A MODE
Do you want to run with a squad, or a duo with your best friend? Maybe you wanna save the world, or maybe you wanna save the world again? Either way, pick what you're interested in doing.

3. INPUT A GAMER ID
This is also known as your username, gamertag, handle, friend code, etc etc etc - whatever you identify as IN THE PLATFORM YOU CHOOSE. NOT your Moot username!*

*Note that stats may not appear unless you use your Epic username.

4. SELECT YOUR MIC OPTIONS
Feeling talkative? Not feeling talkative? Luckily there's a switch for that. Press the switch on your post if you do (or don't) require a mic for your play.

5. PICK A PLAYER AMOUNT
How many people are you recruiting? Is it for this one game? Is it for a clan, or a team? Or two? OR THREE? Whatever you decide, you can choose how many players you're looking for - up to a maximum of 99. Seriously.

6. PICK A DATE
When do you want you and your squad to roll through? ASAP, or maybe tomorrow? How about next week, or next month? Choose a date and prepare for battle.

7. ATTACH THE LFG
Once you've set everything up and you're ready to go, hit the Attach button in the top-right of your LFG.

8. FINISH YOUR POST
Once attached, your LFG will be bound to a normal post in which you can edit and decorate with all the usual Moot goodies - GIFs, memes, polls, videos and images!
Slap that done button with the fattest finger you got (or whatever finger, it's up to you, you could even use your nose) and kick back!

Using the new LFG feature will give you a massive advantage over other players, will help you find friends, and maybe even new teams or clans - all done quickly and easily when you use Moot!

Once you’re in, you'll surely earn that #1 Victory Royale!

Get out there, and happy Mooting!

PopularREPOST: Why Fortnite died to me

This is a repost because i feel like this post didnt really come threw...

Before I start I wanna say that, after my kind of long break, I finally collected many Ideas and thoughts for some posts to share on this platform. I hope you'll like them and find them Interesting. Thanks :) And sorry for my probably bad grammar.

⚠️⚠️WARNING! THIS IS ALL BASED ON MY OWN OPINION!⚠️⚠️

I started playing Fortnite over one year ago when Battle Royale wasn't even a thing in the game yet. Basically Save the word only!

I had a lot of fun with PvE. I played it for hours every single day. A month or so later the Battle Royale mode came out without me even noticing the first time I logged in.

After a long play session of farming materials for my Storm Shield base, I noticed that there was a new button under Safe the World called: "Battle Royal". I clicked on it not expecting to much. I played one round and fell in love with it. It was something new... something fresh, not like these other Royal games (PUBG, H1Z1,...). It was bright, colourful and had some new mechanics like building Walls n' stuff.

Back then the game was not to hyped and it was fun because I was actually pretty good at it.

A week later the new mode came out for everyone to play for free. I told my friends about it and we had a great time. The game started growing in popularity and it began getting updated and improved almost every week on and on. It became better and better. New things were added. Unlockable stuff like the Makko glider and a new player icon. Also the shop was added with items that you could buy with V-Bucks if you had reached a certain season level.

After a few weeks or months season 2 came out adding the Battle Pass to the game which I thought was an neat idea. I didn't get it though because I just wasn't ready paying money for some skins and dance emotes.

And just a few months later season 3 hit the scene introducing many more skins, emotes and Player icons. It wasn't to big of a thing for me though... I mean they added Tilted Towers the 2nd worst thing they have probably done yet.

Season 4 brought even more Skins, even more emotes and new stuff like fall animations. Also the meteor that was teased in season 3 didn't hit Tilted like it should have. It instead landed in the centre of the map and destroyed a bit of Dusty Depot and my favourite landing spot that me and my Friends called "Factory".

Also building became a even bigger thing than before. In the beginning only building a 1x1 fort was already impressive but now everyone started building like crazy, what kinda took some fun for me because it was not about who's the best shooter anymore but more like who's the fastest builder. The game also started rising in popularity a lot lot more. Twitch was (is) filled with it, YouTube was (is) full of "Omg undressing GF for every Kill", "Killing Ninja LMAO" and shit like that what annoyed me a lot. Especially when even my mother started asking question about this "Fortnite" thing that her 1st graders (my moms a teacher) are talking about.

It even, for me,ruined my favourite YouTuber, Muselk, who before Fortnite was famous for Tf2, my most loved game of all time, who now started click baiting Fortnite with millions and millions of views on every video.

But not only the whole Real life and social media thing started freaking out, the game got horrible new weapons and horrible new changes in general.

At this point, especially after season 5 an 6 I stopped playing the game for fun... only if my friends really wanted to.

In conclusion this means that I loved Fortnite with its "smaller" community, old weapons, old map, old Gameplay.

I hope this whole post is not to big of a mess and was readable even tho it's probably a little bit here and there but... yeah.

Anything to add or ask? Let me know.

Thanks
