5 Features That Fortnite Has Given Up On
There have been many things to come and go in the history of Fortnite. Epic has tweaked and changed around almost everything since the game began. I love that they are constantly changing, but sometimes they give up on features too. Here are 5 things Epic has seemingly given up on. 5) Fresh Limited Game Modes
Back in the glory days of Fortnite, every week players could play a new LTM and the game would have this fresh feel to it. Whether it was 50v50 or the Floor is Lava, it felt new. Today we’re lucky if we get one new LTM per month, and lately, we only seem to get the older ones that few enjoy. 4) Making “CUSTOM” Mythic Weapons I know that there are Mythic weapons in the game today. However, all of those are weapons that belong to the heroes or villains currently on the map. I’m talking about weapons Epic has tried their hand at custom making and failed horribly. Ever since the Infinity Blade that tortured helpless players, Epic has given up creating weapons from their imagination. 3) The Hidden Bunker
Since Fortnite’s early history, there have always been hatches on the ground that lead into an underground bunker. Epic has never commented on these, but the curiosity of players grew with the thought of what could be below? Epic still has these on the current map but have still never shown what is underneath. It now seems like a forgotten piece of the map. 2) Pets
Introduced back in Season 6, Fortnite’s take on these adorable pe’s accompanying players on their back in battle won over many fans! Their cuteness was undeniable! As time has gone on, less and less pets have been appearing in Battle Passes. Epic has been quiet on these critters and we have only had two new ones pop up since we traveled from the old map. One of those appearing in this season’s Battle Pass was none other than Rocket the Racoon! 1) Save The World Being Free
I’ve been an avid Fortnite player since it released. There was nothing better than dropping in with 99 other players battling it out to see who came out on top. However, one thing I’ve never tried to play is Save The World mode. Epic initially said the survival game mode would be free for all players, but as the years went on that has seemed to have changed. This year, Epic has come out publicly and said that this game mode will now no longer be free, but it can be purchased for $20. Do you think there are any features that Epic has given up on?
