We are informing you about currently found issues in Destiny Child and related responses. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   ■ Issue ■ - Issue where the application connection and loading is not stable in some game environments from Mar.12 morning   ■ Correspondence ■ - Countermeasures for the issue were applied on Mar, 14, approximately around 06:00 (UTC+0). Further progress will continuously be tracked.   Should any additional matters get discovered in this regard, we will inform you in detail through a separate notice.   ■ Compensation ■ - To express our apologies for the inconvenience caused to the Candidates due to this issue, we have prepared the following compensation.

    While I'm glad that the game is finally functional and that it's getting some compensation, I'd like to note a few things, of which I'm sure some would tell me to just be grateful.

    1. the issue started from your patch, on March 11th, not March 12th.

    2. I know it's rude to look a gift horse in the mouth. But the breakdown I'm seeing seems like it's just a fairly passable coverage and compensation that goes to parity. Ideally, I think that it should've aimed further due to the length of the issue.

    I'd imagine that if this issue would've lasted for the entirety of the duration of people's Devil Pass, this would've blown up far more in your face as well and would've forced a truly desperate recompense.

    The first part appears to cover the daily gains in general and compensates far above what would've been gained, that's good.

    The second part appears to cover for the event that was missed, 3 days at maximum would've given 225 gems, and the extra 5* will likely just be fodder to turn it into proper amps, that's ok.

    The third part though is weird to me. The 36 x10 summon tickets are part of the 2nd's package, it primarily covers the event. And the 5* Enhancement summons, if I'm right, are the EXP blobs right?

    Compensation should be measured by both the value lost and the damages incurred. In this case, it's also incentive to retain customer interest because you've effectively been radio silent for 3 days, during those 3 days new users couldn't download the game, iOS users were left dead in the water, Android users had a dubious "fix" that the only comment replying stated it didn't work for them, leaving a potential phishing/security issue angle from the community end and for those who repeated re-attempted install only to fail at 616mb, that's multiple GB of data. For those with unlimited usage that's nothing but for those on a data plan that's a fair dent.

    Add to that the fact that this happened on Friday, depending on how people maintained their PVP ranking, some could be falling down to Platinum IV, and with Platinum IV being as difficult to fight through as Platinum V, that means a further investment of time and effort from those affected for a minimum of 3-5 days to climb back up 800 PVP points to return to a state where they can maintain incremental investment into maintaining high end units and preparation for each ongoing event.

    While those unaffected might see this as an insane gift, those affected will have varying opinions. I myself only think it's adequate at best, as the 3rd part of the compensation really only provides an advantage to newcomers while long time users will really only see this as pay through summons for Onyx or fodder 4* for rebirth, with out of 360 summons maybe lucking out and getting a few 5* if any depending on their RNG.

    While it is difficult to quantify and determine what is the right level of compensation, moreso since this isn't targeted compensation for affected accounts but rather a blanket gift to the entire community. It remains a fact that the worse affected of the lot are looking at an upward climb back up the PVP ladder, unrequired annoyances or stress during their weekend, and a compensation that honestly might be lacking compared to the offset.

    And to those who don't like what I have to say, keep in mind that this happened on Friday's patch. This was the 3rd day of people's Devil Pass. If they paid the full cost on that, it meant that by the time they would've been able to invest into ensuring they had all 30 level rewards, they were locked out of the game, with radio silence from the company handling the game and on a Devil Pass that lasts about a week more or less. Already 3 days of those 7-9 days of the Devil Pass is gone by now and it takes 3 days to get to that 30 level reward with the only way to accelerate being to pay Gems which they wouldn't have been aware to invest before the sudden service crash.

    With no communication either, they wouldn't be able to know if the issue would be resolved by the 6th day of the Devil Pass. For some people, this could've also been a quit moment when they'd decide to just give up on the game, ergo why the compensation is also incentive to retain a player base.

    And from the viewpoint of someone ready to give up on the game, the attempt at retention here is inadequate. Which is why I said it's only a passable compensation. Because it's the only thing it feels like it's aiming for. This compensation should be better, it's just OK.

    Hit the character limit, but I'd like to add one thing.

    I know my take is considered a "hot take" and is going to be downvoted. But keep this in mind.

    I am fighting for you guys because I honestly believe you all deserve more than this. I know that compared to other pay to win gachas, this compensation is appealing. But in the end I honestly firmly believe you all deserve more for this 3 day fiasco.

    But hey, if anything, just remember that if ever something hits the fan again, just be happy you get any compensation, even if it's only parity. Right?

    Edit: And Line/Shiftup. I'm sure you're aware the reason I'm being downvoted is because the community has you dear in their heart. And I too enjoy your products. Hell, I'm looking forward to your next games. But it's also an indicator of the required standard you need to maintain to keep them in your good graces.

    It clearly means you're doing something well enough, and I wholeheartedly encourage and hope that you continue to maintain that level of commitment to the player experience, if nothing else.

    seeing your TLDR post means you have no idea there was a community fix for the bug 3 - 4 days ago that was released on multiple social platforms. This means this compensation is a huge plus for everyone.

    What you should rant about and fight for is the issue about the infinite crystal bug. That is 100x more shady than this one lol.

    I'd like to note that in my first post; I pointed out how the "community fix" had replies from a person who attempted the fix and was unable to get it to work/connect, further hinting that it was a server communication error matching how multiple people were stuck at 616mb on reinstall download.

    Also you missed the point in the first post. that a community fix is also an avenue for phishing or malware, it's not an official fix and doesn't fix the issue that Line/Shiftup was radio silent.

    I didn't provide a TL;DR because there's a lot of detail and nuance that I can't do a TL;DR. I just did a PS.

    Please read properly before you make a reply that doesn't address the counterpoint built into the original post.

    Of course I didn't read your post - It's too much bullshit. I don't know where you read that comment wherein one guy was unable to make it work, but a lot of people solved the issue from that fix. Why believe only 1 comment anyway? Maybe you were that guy who wasn't able to make it work? 😂😂😂

    Why the fck would a community fix have a phishing/malware inserted on it if that guy who uploaded it has a good reputation and just want to help players? You're not thinking straight bruh 😂😂😂

    It seems to me you're the one who should know how to read properly in order to make the fix work; There was a game issue, there was a fix, you didn't try to fix it but instead make a long shtty post. 😂😂😂

    M00N  Considering he's ignoring the fact that the only comment found in the "community fix" was about how it didn't work and he's disregarding the potential of malware, I'd say he probably doesn't care.

    And considering also that people continued to report issues with login even despite a reported "community fix", I'd think it's more than enough substantial evidence of a failure of critical thinking of his part too.

    The situation we're in is simple, we got parity for the base with complete disregard to forward losses and a lack of any retention attempt.

    It's also funny that they gave us 36 individual 10x summon tickets to use within the mail, rather than 36 x10 summon items we could bulk use at our convenience.

    I'll do you the courtesy of one last reply.

    This is about your personal attitude mainly, and I am aware we are just users online and I am also aware of the potential that you're just trolling and therefore I am disregarding the first rule being "Do not feed the Troll".

    First of all, even if you are under veil of anonymity, the way you conduct yourself is still reflective of your personality and who you ultimately are. While the repercussions are mitigated by the fact that you are unlikely to receive any drawback from it in a direct manner, this still impacts your everyday life because well, you have to live with yourself still in the end. The positive though I guess is that it can be used as a means of venting. But venting is only a momentary release and not a fix. Think of it as you releasing the worst of yourself, but not bettering yourself. If done on occasion, it's not so bad, moderation and all. But if this is your standard, there's some deeper issue you should look to resolving.

    The inability to properly interact with others, and in turn to properly take into account anothers full statement will impact your everyday interactions and I hope you'll be well adjusted enough to compensate for that or that this is outside of your standard norm. I don't know you, I can only determine things based on this very limited interaction.

    I'd also like to note that the repeated abuse of emoticons isn't a very good look. It's relatively childish by nature. While being a kid at heart isn't a bad thing, it's reflective of your maturity. And it's unfortunately often used by people who lack any further point to add to the debate or to their argument. It's basically a fallback that's oddly similar to a fallacy. Rather than argue, you go for visual mockery as a distraction of the issue. Essentially if you intend to convince the other that you are correct, it doesn't actually help your case.

    As you seem to give reverence towards good reputation within a community, which is normal for the majority of people. I'd like to advise you to learn to properly debate and discuss with others if you care for your own reputation. And I mean in the long term.

    Honestly. I mainly find it sad that you're okay with what's provided. But if that's fine with you, that's your prerogative and you're perfectly entitled to your opinion regarding the compensation and how you feel for it. But there's still an objective quality that you should look into.

    While I'm unsure if you're going to read all of it, or if you're going to dismiss this as me just attacking you personally. While I am critiquing your attitude, it is with the intent that you will take it and hopefully grow to be a better and wiser person, of course since you've already antagonized me, I'm certain you'll not even consider anything I say. But if you do read it, it will at least be in your mind and if anything does provide some avenue for betterment, you might consider it down the line. If you read this of course.

    Also you should work on your empathy, comprehension and sympathy. Part of my discussion here isn't just for myself. I was mainly fine though slightly annoyed, I just played games and watched streams during the weekend. But this definitely had a negative impact to others and definitely became a barrier for newcomers, which in turn affects the health of this game. You should take that into proper consideration.

    But again, I'm unsure if you'll bother reading all of this.

    Don't worry about downvotes almost all of them are the same people and their multi-accounts where they don't really read anything, they just see that you're going against something and you have your own criteria, which they don't like.

    The only thing I can contribute here as a nuance is that of everything you have highlighted, the most worrying thing is the paragraph where you talk about "retain customer interest"

    In these days when most users and potential new users didn't have access to the game either, most would have easily left the game and looked for another one, look hundreds if not thousands of other games more attractive than DC (unfortunately) and more worrying still is that while almost all games in which the devs/CM have a problem go out as far as possible to notify it, in this miraculous one nothing was known as the fix was already implemented.

    Regarding the compensation itself, the only thing that matters to me is core mats that I lost because of the Engarde, honestly I don't care about anything else and if a newcomer takes it then phenomenal, anything else about the compensation seems fine to me and hope everyone enjoy it because the more people who enter the system, the better for everyone, so complaining about compensation beyond proposing a way to make it more suitable for the user, we should consider that at least they did it, I'm tired of playing others games where they don't do that and don't even bother to communicate.

    My only problem with this whole issue is that I JUST came back to the game and then got hit with this. I'm happy for anything compensation wise, I don't even know what to do with half the shiz I have now-
    I came back to the game literally 2 days before this happened and thought I had somehow broken my game. Was absolutely overjoyed to see others with the same problem, but couldn't find a solution for it. But this only seemed to make the situation more bleak when I really thought about it, and having it down for days, trying my best to do anything and everything I could to make it work again just left me feeling exhausted. And even now I just feel anxious going to play like its going to break again.
