IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide

GUIDE

We are informing you about the IGNITION system and Hephaestus' Forge that will be added after the Dec. 3 update.   ■IGNITION system■ - From this update, a new IGNITION system to grow Childs is added. - Ignition is a way to grow your Childs beyond the limits. - Childs can grow their status and skills to a higher level through ignition and acquire amplified status. - Ignition Cores required for Ignition can be crafted by consuming core materials and Childs in Hephaestus' Forge in the Night World.   ▶ What is Hephaestus' Forge?

DESTINY CHILD: GUIDE - IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide image 2

Blacksmith Demon Hephaestus succeeded in creating an Ignition Core that strengthens the Childs by studying the reincarnation, a unique system of exorcists. It was thanks to the devil Loki stealing the Kabbalah document, the secret of the exorcists, and the revival flower hidden by the Demon Willow Doryeong and handing them over to Hephaestus. In order to make the Ignition Core, you need to put the core materials and Childs into the furnace. When the completed core is mounted on a Child, the Qliphoth Tree inside the Child awakens, thereby unlocking a higher level of abilities.   ■Hephaestus' Forge■ Hephaestus' Forge has been added to the Night World. * You can enter the Night World from user level 7.

DESTINY CHILD: GUIDE - IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide image 4

You can craft Ignition Cores in Hephaestus' Forge. If you equip the created Ignition Core to a Child who meets the necessary conditions, you can proceed with the Ignition. For Hephaestus' Forge, please refer to the in-game tutorial.   ■How to make Ignition Core■ - Tap Ignition Core Creation.

DESTINY CHILD: GUIDE - IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide image 6

- You can create 4 types of Ignition Cores through Ignition Core Creation. - There are 4 types of Ignition Cores: Amplified ATK, Amplified DEF, Amplified AGL, and Amplified CRIT.

DESTINY CHILD: GUIDE - IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide image 136

- When making Ignition Cores, you need 99 core materials of each type, a 5★ Child, and 150,000 gold. ※ Evolution and experience material Childs cannot be used as ignition materials. ※ A Child’s type does not matter when creating a core. ※ The Child used as a material gets diminished and cannot be restored.

DESTINY CHILD: GUIDE - IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide image 10

- If the number of core materials is less than 99, the core material can be purchased through the material purchase button as shown in the image below. - 50 crystals per core are required to purchase core materials.

DESTINY CHILD: GUIDE - IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide image 12

-Three stats are given to Ignition Core at the moment of creation. -The first stat is fixed with Amplified ATK, Amplified DEF, Amplified AGL, and Amplified CRIT depending on the type of core. - For the second and third, stats other than the first stat are given according to the probability. e.g) In case of creating Amplified ATK Ignition Core: The first stat is given Amplified ATK, and the second and third stats excluding amplified attack power are also given randomly.

DESTINY CHILD: GUIDE - IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide image 14

※ For more details, please check the Ignition Core Production Status Probability below.   - You can check the created Ignition Cores in the Ignition Storage and Item Inventory.   1) Ignition Storage

- Ignition Cores can be installed in the Ignition section in the image above and in the Hephaestus’s Forge in the Night World. -As shown in the image below, if you attach the core to the first Qlippah, the Qliphoth will be unlocked.

DESTINY CHILD: GUIDE - IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide image 23

- Check the Ignition Core and click the Install Core button.

DESTINY CHILD: GUIDE - IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide image 25

- Equip with the Ignition Core to unlock Qliphoth. ※ Used Ignition Cores cannot be returned.

- As shown in the image below, the Child's Qliphoth is released, and the level and amplification stats increase.

DESTINY CHILD: GUIDE - IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide image 29

- When you unlock Qliphoth, you can activate Qlippah as shown below.

DESTINY CHILD: GUIDE - IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide image 31

- The core stats of Qliphoth is determined by the Ignition Core installed on the first Qlippah. - The core stats in the image below varies depending on the Ignition Core. e.g.) The stats according to the core installed in the first Qlippah are amplified ATK, HP, CRT

Tap on the lock mark to activate Qlippah in sequence.

DESTINY CHILD: GUIDE - IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide image 36

- The materials required to activate the Qlippah differ depending on the base stars. - A Child used as a material must have the same or higher base stars than the target Child and must have the same type. - No. of required Onyx is applied differentially for each Qlippah stage. - Ignition level can be reached from 1 to 12. - Details of growth can be checked by clicking each Qlippah as shown in the image below.

DESTINY CHILD: GUIDE - IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide image 38

- In the case of skill enhancement, click the skill up icon as shown in the image below to check the change in skill. ※ Changes in skill are different for each child, so please check in-game.

- As shown in the image below, Qliphoth is divided into a stem located in the center and branches on both sides.

DESTINY CHILD: GUIDE - IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide image 101

- The Qlippahs of the Qliphoth stem enhances amplified stats and skills, and the Child's star color changes accordingly. - The amplified stats you get is determined by the Ignition Core installed on the 1st Qlippah. - Skills to be enhanced are fixed for each Child.

DESTINY CHILD: GUIDE - IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide image 45

- The Qlippahs of the Qliphoth Branch increases the 2nd and 3rd stats of the Ignition Core installed on the 1st Qlippah. - The acquired stats is determined by the Ignition Core installed on the 1st Qlippah equipped.   ■ How to Replace the Ignition Core - The 1st Ignition Core can be replaced in the Hephaestus’ Forge in the Night World.

DESTINY CHILD: GUIDE - IGNITION System & Hephaestus's Forge Guide image 47

- Even if the core is replaced, the opened Qlippah is maintained, and the growth value of the changed core is immediately reflected as much as the ignition level. - If the core is replaced, the core that was previously equipped will be destroyed and cannot be returned.

  • [MMOSLASH] Solanor LV.17 Let’s play Destiny! Dec 2, 2020, 05:34 PM

Press F for F2P we won't compete anymore... 99 cores + 5* child is to much + why not giving us a week to prepare for that? not everyone plays KR/JP vers. Like I'm already struggling to get my 6* to +6 with the revive thing and now I have to use my 5 * for this???!!! And 99 cores seems a lot...

  • Dj5 LV.24 Warrior Dec 2, 2020, 09:28 PM

And the Ignition only works for 6*+6 Childs so good luck xD

  • OhPeach LV.5 Lurker Dec 2, 2020, 10:41 PM

Wrong. Just 6* level 60. No uncaps needed

  • Dj5 LV.24 Warrior Dec 3, 2020, 09:16 AM

Sorry fully awakened. My bad >o<

  • Kuronee LV.14 Chief Dec 4, 2020, 02:11 AM

don't worry, it isn't that serious. you can largely ignore it and only bother with it when you are ready. it isn't a requirement for any content.

i have completely ignored ignition on jp and still collect all the waifu ^_^

  • 크리스티나 LV.11 Chief Dec 18, 2020, 11:36 PM

And not just cores and 5* childs. You will also need lots of crystals and onyx too.

  • P. Argonaut LV.21 Insomniac Dec 2, 2020, 04:11 PM

Uhh... what? Who has time for this!? And the update is tomorrow? They couldn't give us this info over the weekend?

  • SimExa LV.26 Insomniac Dec 2, 2020, 04:34 PM

lol, okay. This seems very complicated, but I'm sure some will enjoy this. I'm just gonna pretend it doesn't exist. Eventually I will try it out!

  • mill0048 LV.21 Supersonic Dec 2, 2020, 10:18 PM

Agreed. I'm just here for the art and collecting. This morning, I came to terms with ending my time with DC if this becomes unavoidable. I already spend too much time doing dailies.

  • Kuronee LV.14 Chief Dec 4, 2020, 01:25 AM

you will be able to ignore this if you just want to collect. I haven't touched it or even item augmenting on JP, i do my minimal dailies and bosses and still collect the new girls just fine.

  • 크리스티나 LV.11 Chief Dec 18, 2020, 11:49 PM

Some childs are really good after ignited... That's what I heard. Just take your time and ignit only the ones worth igniting and the ones you are using the most. Plus this is not something that you can do so fast, only if you want to throw some money into it. To be honest, I don't have even one ignited child and I'm doing well.

  • BSCasino LV.13 Chief Dec 2, 2020, 11:53 PM

I thought it seemed convoluted and long-winded because I was sleepy when browsing through it...but nah, it really is. I'm with you on this one; I'm just going to ignore this.

PvP players however, might not be able to simply ignore it, idk. As long as the PvE content isn't increased in difficulty to make this ignition thing mandatory, it should have minimal impact on how I play.

  • LycaDelish LV.22 RIP Dec 3, 2020, 12:10 PM

That's the kicker though. If Ragna and WB starts being balanced around Ignited Childs, that's going to become a problem.

  • Kuronee LV.14 Chief Dec 4, 2020, 01:23 AM

they don't appear to balance bosses around this on JP, at least.

i never needed to use this on JP to be a collector. i still get the new girls I want on JP without wasting time on ignition.

if you want to compete, go for it. if not it can be ignored.

heck, i don't even augment weapons on JP, im too lazy.

  • LycaDelish LV.22 RIP Dec 4, 2020, 03:37 AM

    That's fair then.

  • M00N LV.22 Bamboozled Dec 2, 2020, 06:32 PM

    Gosh, you seem stressed

  • VladOSDGL LV.15 Chief Dec 2, 2020, 07:40 PM

not rly i am just saying its a rly dumb argument. DUH we dont have to do anything doesnt mean we will do well w/o it...

  • M00N LV.22 Bamboozled Dec 2, 2020, 10:29 PM

Taking into account you don't miss a chance to express your disapproval of the ignition system, I am pretty sure you're stressed out bigtime. But don't worry so much. Change can be frightening, but most of the times, one can adapt. And if not - you said it yourself - you can always stop playing and start something you feel more joy doing.

  • VladOSDGL LV.15 Chief Dec 3, 2020, 05:48 PM

M00N  OR i am actualy just care for the game and when i see obviously distructive thing i try to bring attantion to it so i can keep playing the game i enjoy instead of having to leave it cos everyone "just stop playing and start something they feel more joy doing". I am very against position where u just take everything in and let anything slide just cos "hey its not killing us".
And me saying all of that doesnt mean i am worrying to much i am just taking couple minutes of my time to have a chance to make my hobby better. Maybe writing a comment is a big deal for someone but for me its not so please dont put ur words in my mouth.

  • M00N LV.22 Bamboozled Dec 3, 2020, 05:58 PM

    VladOSDGL  Yea, same

  • BSCasino LV.13 Chief Dec 2, 2020, 11:51 PM

Just ignore that guy - man is either a troll or has some behavioural problems in real life. Either way, not worth your time.

  • M00N LV.22 Bamboozled Dec 3, 2020, 12:38 AM

    Thanks for being so supportive.
ヽ(´▽`)/ Sometimes I get stuck in my own perspective and you showing affection helps me letting go. (*'ω'*)

  • Rion Cranke LV.9 Nomad Dec 3, 2020, 02:23 AM

BSCasino thinks he's better than others. Man, let me ignore you comments from now on. I don't like toxicity.

  • BSCasino LV.13 Chief Dec 3, 2020, 03:36 AM

Rion Cranke  Oh? Citation needed on that baseless accusation. Or do you think that just by saying something you make it true?
You can view my entire post history here and please show me where 'I think I'm better than others'. If someone responds to me in snide manner I'll reply in kind, but at that point I'm just treating you the same way you treated me.

I've actually stated that nobody is 'better' than anybody here - we're all gambling on anime gifs....there's nothing noteworthy anybody is accomplishing so there's no need for any sense of superiority.

Maybe you should look at the guy who's first words tend to be insulting everyone he disagrees with, calling them idiots, dumb etc even when nobody is attacking him if you're looking to avoid 'toxicity'.

No my lad, 'toxicity' isn't avoiding needlessly confrontational people; it's believing that because you spend all day on your phone and someone else either cannot or doesn't want to, that they are 'lazy' and thus unworthy to offend your eyes with their plebian comments...which was the position of our esteemed friend in question in a recent post I made. You want to know the kicker? I actually agree with the fundamental principle of 'just because you technically don't have to spend money, doesn't mean something isn't p2w or unfair'. However notice the difference between saying that, and saying "its a rly dumb argument. DUH we dont have to do anything doesnt mean we will do well w/o it..."

But yes, sure....I'm 'toxic' and believe I'm better than others. Right.

Notice that even here, where you made a false and baseless claim , I have not made any such attacks on you. I have also not made any comments on your personality or world view because I do not know who you are.

Regardless, your proposed course of action will serve us both well.
