I'm wondering, has anyone made the math on how many tries, on average, you have to run the lantern minigame to get a 5 star spa skin? There are other consistent ways (not, like, event rewards) to get them?

    There's a very slow xp mileage, that's the guarantee.. Chances of getting a five-star in runs look like 1%, so you can easily have none drop in some 70 lantern runs.
    Lanternless runs seem to be pointless.

    Except for the mileage skin I've very rarely acquired a 5* during runs

    Maybe, I have been lucky. Except for missing Limos. I have gotten at least one skin of the biweekly event drop without buying extra runs. There is no way of consistently getting skins without getting more lanterns and paying $100k+ for each run.
