Obviously chang'e and eve, but I don't have two I've been seeing around (newbie mona and neptune) so are dana and rusalka good replacements or no?

In Ragna it's usually all about making parties that revolve around our damage dealer.

Thanatos has a tap skill that strikes 4 times and not only does this deal more damage on a single target than Eve can, but it's a tap skill so the cool down has no countdown before it starts charging again.

The tap skill is called Heavenly Strike III.

For experimental reasons my first party will be....

    Thanatos. = Heavenly Strike III

    Chang'e. = Keep Thanatos fast

Pantheon. = Increase Thanatos critical rates

The next 3 at this point in time will be decided with trial and error to see which ones make Thanatos the strongest while keeping the party alive. But im looking at...

Swimsuit Davi = Double Edged Sword for Thanatos.

Snow Miku = Healer + converts bleed to regen + Raid perks

Then Hatsune Miku or Princess Snow Miku. It all comes down to who has Thanatos smashing the boss harder.

Possibly will need a tank. No idea for now.

I don't know if Demeter will cause bleed dmg, so Snow Miku might have less purpose. In worse case I'll use Maat if healing is insufficient.

It's all about the attacker in Ragna. Use the best cartas for the tasks, and I could be wrong about it being Thanatos, but on paper he's better than Eve at dealing massive damage in Ragna parties.

As a reminder, to maximize our dmg in ragna,

    - Play the game manually, so childs do what you want everytime.

    - Speed x2 is best unless you're like the Flash and no time is lost between decision making

    - Just before fever time slow the game to speed x1. As fever time moves at the same rate of fire on all 3 speeds, x1 fever time will save 2 or 3 times its length of time depending at how fast we play.

quick question, that fever technique doesn't work on WB right?

  • Kharl LV.23 Wizard Feb 19, 2020, 03:01 AM

Game speed during Fever Time is always x1 regardless of the speed setting used so there's no need to slow the game down to x1 before Fever.

thats what I thought. thank you.

The point in slowing the game speed is to save time on the clock.

If you do all 3 Fevers on 3x the clock will have ran down more.

If all 3 fevers were done on 1x we'll see more time on the clock.

Because the fever will be the same length of time on all speed settings. setting it to 1x saves time. In practice we'll score more damage this way.

  • Kharl LV.23 Wizard Feb 19, 2020, 04:11 AM

The clock also slows down to x1 speed during Fever.

Take a look at this video of RB Season 6, the most recent one for Global: https://youtu.be/LXm1GIY1sBg?t=57

    The speed setting is x2.
Maximum time allowed for Fever is 14 seconds.
The first Fever ends with 6 seconds remaining. Therefore, it lasts 8 seconds.
According to the clock, the Fever begins at 3:19 and ends at 3:11.
Had the clock still ran at x2 speed then the Fever should have ended at 3:03 instead.

  • Toeknee LV.22 S Feb 19, 2020, 05:35 AM

Oh dang Fever causes the clock to roll back.

I noticed Fever being the same rate at any speed setting, but I never noticed that.

Once again your knowledge of the game prevails Kharl.

Toeknee  Actually my bad, the clock is always counting down

  • Toeknee LV.22 S Feb 19, 2020, 03:06 AM

    It does.

Based on JP info, boss Demeter is expected to use "Dancing Blade" and "Strong Poison" (a new DoT debuff similar to Bleed with additional effect of reducing amount of Heal and Regen received by half). You may need a DoT cleanser such as Bast or Erato.

Game speed during Fever Time is always x1 regardless of the speed setting used so there's no need to slow the game down to x1 before Fever.

Hello, I see your comment and wonder,do you know if the new debuff used by the boss will count as a 'bleed' effect ? I was wondering if Anemons could work well in the ragna since she can purify this debuff ^^

  • Kharl LV.23 Wizard Feb 20, 2020, 03:07 AM

No. It is a different DoT debuff. Bleed cleansers cannot remove it.

  • Ajani LV.22 GG Feb 18, 2020, 06:51 AM

Hatsune Miku can be a good choice, she's similar to N. Mona.
Rusalka isn't really good, Snow Miku or Princess Snow I think are better.

In my opinion you can try:
    Chang'e
    Pantheon
    Eve
    Hatsune Miku
    Snow Miku/Princess Snow Miku
