That's an interesting way to put it, but you must remember that entire industries are made on this kind of design. Have you ever seen a Marvel or DC superhero? Batman, Spiderman, the X-Men?
They all have exact same treatment but it's in the Male side of things.

If the only issue is that "now it's being used with female traits", you may have to take a little breather.

Male exaggeration is considered child safe, but female exaggeration is ugly? It's a very strange cut to make if you think about it.

First four is Sunah (a Korean pronunciation of Xian'e, a female hermit), a light WB. She might be released this year, but no idea when. And her spa skin will be censored.

The fifth one is Tiwaz. She should come this summer as a banner child for "Midsummer Night's Dream" light RB.

The last one is Miriam, a wood boss for "Knight of Rose" RB. The Ragna counts as main story chapter 4-5. Probably early next year for Global.

That's a year wait.
The English versions have a gap of about 11 months, which is apparently intentional.

They can't release characters in time for demand, nor adapt to sales trends. (Ex: it's the "year of the Cow", and gamers only care about that because it means big big girls)
It's like waiting a year to go to a movie, or getting your groceries a year late.
