Mostly people use eve whic is water, so fire may have disadvantage.

  • BadMelody LV.20 Professional Noob Jan 17, 2020, 07:48 PM

people are using nicole now too as an attacker, so it might be good to level up all three and switch to the most advantageous element.

I'm seeing Nicole more now and damn. She's scary.

  • John Royals LV.13 Titan Jan 17, 2020, 10:49 PM

I'm wondering if nicole is that much better arena wise than Jacheongbi, Siren, Abadon etc..or is it because shes a waifu 😄

  • BadMelody LV.20 Professional Noob Jan 18, 2020, 02:48 AM

I think it's cause Nicole's slide just benefits more from the current meta. Chang'e and dana are pretty much essential on every team, then bathory is in like 99% of teams, so that just leaves you with two slots. Most people like to use Neptune since she both heals and speed buffs, plus her drive can be useful. If you want to use Siren, then you have to sacrifice two team slots to make her useful, one for her and one for pantheon. Nicole only needs to be in the team because the various buffs from the entire team will be buffing her slide damage, so that leaves you with a free slot, which will probably go to Neptune.

The additional damage per buff can be absolutely lethal at +6.

  • BadMelody LV.20 Professional Noob Jan 18, 2020, 04:51 AM

I haven't had to fight a Nicole yet because I'm only in gold, but the damage also ignores defense, right? If so, then there isn't really a good way to defend against it outside of just stacking hp.

BadMelody  That, or delay her. Still see a ton of Moa and Isolde in P5, a good amount of Nirrti and Lan Fei, and an occasional Olga.

  • BadMelody LV.20 Professional Noob Jan 18, 2020, 05:14 AM

Dragon Quest Fan  Yeah, the only problem with debuffers is that you have to hope the debuff targets Nicole, which it doesn't always do. But yeah, sometimes people switch out either Neptune or their attacker and add a debuffer so they can hit fever before the opponent.

  • Zombie Dane LV.22 Team Rocket Jan 18, 2020, 06:09 AM

yeah i have fought a bunch of people using her. i am glad now that i got alot of her, my nicole is a +5. but i am not going to use her yet, i still need to upgrade her skills.

  • BadMelody LV.20 Professional Noob Jan 18, 2020, 06:22 AM

Nice. I only have mine at +3, but I might use her when I get more uncaps.

  • PantsuNinja LV.15 Chief Jan 18, 2020, 06:54 AM

I have a fully geared, fully upgraded +6 Nicole as much as you can possibly deck out this waifu.

I can attest to the fact that she has this one skilled called "Instant Delete", where she hits 2 Childs and they just disappear. XD

By the time she rolls out her slide skill, she should already have a bunch of buffs from Dana, Chang'e and if you want, Newbie Mona.

Excuse my ignorance as I'm still a bit new, and gear choices still escape me, but wouldn't it be better to have a halberd on her for agility rather than crit?

  • PantsuNinja LV.15 Chief Jan 18, 2020, 04:21 PM

She is an Attacker with very little need to land her single-target debuff (which only happens on her Drive skill).

All she needs are more buffs on her to deal a ton of damage. If she happens to crit... you've pretty much won the round.

  • Zombie Dane LV.22 Team Rocket Jan 19, 2020, 06:25 PM

i know this is confusing but agility effects the rate at which you evade debuffs and it effects the rate at which a debuff will actually hit. so most people put agility gear on their debuffers, and some supporters for example Chang'e so when she casts her drive it would more likely stun 3 people instead of one or two.
