HoR Restoration seems...buged?BUGS & REPORT
So today we have an ongoing HoR event, the event is supposedly give double mileage. To have a 100% we have to sacrifice 120 bgs and 40 4* units. Today I gamble some but somehow I lost around 160 bgs. I started at 518 bgs (I didn't remember correctly, but sure enough it was 517 or 518) and down to 357 now. I did some 12,5%, 20%, 30% and eventually used 10% until maxed the bar. In the end I spent around 160 bgs. I thought 120 was the max amount of the guarantee. Was this a bug? or did I just F*** up? or did the system had "the more you sacrifice the more you save" thing? Someone please help me to clarify this.

You misunderstand how the event works.
120 blood gems is the amount needed to do a 100% summon. This is the one way to guarantee you get zero milage (doubled due to the event!)
Milage is only applied when you try to summon and fail. To maximize gains from the event you want to max out your failure rate per summon. The most efficient way to do this is
14x 10.0% +1x 12.5%
Basically you get a pitty 5* every 15 failed pulls (rather than every 30). On average you still get the same number of 5* as doing 100% pulls, but there will be variance now since your doing 10x10% instead of 1x100%.

Oh well I thought the cost would be the same in the end. Blood gems are just too precious for me so gotta make the most of it. Basically If we're in bad luck, this most efficient way would cost us 183 gems in total, well 10% gamble is much better than 3% or 6% gacha rate up I guess.
Thanks I think I understand how it works now, still I didn't know normal rate up would need us to do 30x failure to fill up the bar. That would worth more than premium skins.

If you want the most out of your bloodgems, do once with 6 childs and after that repeat with 5 until mileage is full. (if you got a 5* from the 6, repeat 6 again until you don't get a 5*). Mileage only increases when you fail to summon a 5*.
