The distinctive scars across its face and body make this creature easily identifiable. As an omnivore, its diet ranges from berries, roots, and grasses to deer, elk, fish, and carrion. Long range weapons like a long scope rifle, or a Bow with Improved Arrows, will give you the advantage when hunting this animal. Killing this animal will give you the opportunity to craft a rare talisman."

Location: Northern side of Ambarino, North of Lake O'Creagh's Run, Grizzlies East.   As the first legendary animal you're to see during a mission called 'Exit Pursued by a Bruised Ego', you can choose to hunt down the bear in the first encounter or return for later with better equipment. I highly recommend doing a manual save before the hunting begins so as to avoid going back and forth, should you fail to hunt it down.   Although its high speed and super strength make it a formidable foe against players, long range weapons with enough firepower, as stated above, are effective against the beast. Try to keep enough distance to avoid getting hit. The bear can be lethal enough to kill you in an instant. Using Dead Eye will guide you to its weak spots to shoot, and as always, try to aim for the head for best results.   Legendary Animal Outfits
