After 2 weeks I finally have enough white whale skins to make the whaler outfit and the white whales are very hard to find because they are basically community event things so you have to be very lucky and I was extremely lucky to find 3 of them

I finally got the Mayan outfit which deflects metal things like bullets so im now basically bullet proof

AC Valhalla is simply amazing!

They’ve drastically changed the way grinding works, but for the better in my opinion.

You’ll no longer find new loot around every corner which means you’ll stick with each gear you’ll find for MUCH longer.
God, how much I hated it when in Odyssey or Orgins I found the perfect weapon for my playstyle only to find another weapon that I didn’t like at all but has a better rarity...

In Valhalla the gear you’ll find can be upgraded in two ways:
- By finding the required resources and upgrading it from your inventory
- By bringing it to a blacksmith to increase its tier

Upgrading the tier comes with several benefits such as more upgrade slots, new rune slots and a new appearance.

Especially the latter is what makes the grind in Valhalla so satisfying!
Say you find a dusty cloak in a chest and it looks really generic and unappealing.
Upgreading the appearance adds a lot more details to the gear and makes the piece look a lot more rare.
