Assassin's Creed Odyssey is totally different from others!
I stopped buying the series after Black Flag and didn't realize how a game within a particular series can change so dramatically. I didn't actually buy Odyssey for myself. I only played it for a short amount of time at a friend's place this weekend, but it gave me an impression that Ubisoft really have been working on to make things unusual for the series. I'm not saying that it's bad, but it's kind of confusing to think that this is actually the continuation of the series that I had been familiar for years. The first thing that came up on my mind while trying Odyssey was this, "Is this really an Assassin's Creed game?" Because so many were changed except for things like Leap of Faith, I nearly didn't recognize that I was playing AC. I would like to say they have taken a turn for the better, but strangely, at the same time, it no longer feels like I'm playing AC series. It just feels like a well made Action Adventure game.
Assassin's Creed Live Events! Beginning from October 16!
Events will be held weekly for 30lv+ players!
Through quest boards and your ship, you'll be able to participate in the said event. It's specified with the blue Orichalcum emblem next to the quest name.
EPIC SHIPS - Within the weekly time limits, you must pursuit and take out a ship and earn your rights to claim the prize of XP, Drachmae, Orichalcum, and a new ship design.
EPIC MERCENARIES - Hunt down a mercenary within the weekly timed limits to earn XP, Drachmae, Orichalcum, and an Epic item, either weapon or gear.
On what difficulty do you play this?
I've been playing it on nightmare, but it's getting harder for me to enjoy as I progress. It's not that nightmare difficulty is unmanageable, but it's just that I find it more tedious and repetitive since enemies are much tankier, making the fight longer than I hope for it to be. Also, because I die a lot, I have to play the same thing over and over again until I get decent enough to pass it. That is actually the point of playing a game in the hardest difficulty, but with Odyssey's massive amount of contents, I'm afraid I won't be able to enjoy it all considering that I'll be moving on to some other games in the future. For that reason, I'm seriously considering changing the difficulty.
Assassin's Creed Tops Franchise's Sales Records for Current Console Generation
I mean, they made very well made game, but I never expected sales to be this good. The record's only limited to the current generation of consoles of course, which means it's not enough to top Assassin's Creed III, but it's impressive how Ubisoft has gotten so far with the series considering it has already been more than 10 years since the first establishment of the series.

How Is Odyssey Related To The Creed?
Perhaps its already been revealed and if so I apologize but what I wanna know is how they’re gonna tie this game to Assassin’s Creed because we already know it started in ancient Egypt by Bayek and his friends but the Battle of Thermopylae (The first fight in the game) happened ONE HUNDRED TWENTY FOUR YEARS before Alexander the Great even began his rule! And if the protagonist is Leonidas’ grandson or grandaughter, then how can they even remotely relate to the Creed? The game came out so I’m sure someone can explain it to me cause there’s no way they left a plot hole that big.
What's next for Assassin's Creed Series?
They've been to Israel, Italy, America, France, England, Ancient Egypt, and Greece(I may have missed a few) What do you think their next step will be? I would hope to see they cover Asia in past times. I've studied Asian history as a university student, and it will be awesome to see some of the historical events in Asia happening in AC series.
AC: Odyssey vs AC: Origins Comparison
Am I the only one who thinks Origins has better graphics than Odyssey? Just look at the torch on fire at 3:15 Obviously, the effect in Origins far surpasses that of Odyssey's. I like the overall quality of Odyssey with interesting scenario and gameplay, but in graphics, Assassin's Creed clearly failed to make better improvements.
What settings do you play Odyssey with?
I bought AC: Origins on PC, and the optimization for the game, in my opinion, is not so great. Mine's equipped with GTX 1060 6gb ram, 8GB DDR4 Ram and a i5 6600K. I've set the overall details on high with Anti Aliasing on low and Shadows on medium. I'm getting about 40~60 fps throughout the gameplay so far with about 48 on average.
