LCK resume this Mar. 25th
LCK, which has been on hiatus since Mar. 3rd over coronavirus outbreak, will return to active play on Mar. 25th, the league Thursday. The matches will be played online, much like the LCS, LEC and LPL and is scheduled to end Apr. 16th.
Given the three weeks delay, the LCK will make schedule adjustments to cram in more matches than usual. There will be five playing days a week with up to three matches per day.
“The match-up schedule will be redrawn to avoid situations where certain teams have to play more than one match a day, or 2,3 days in a row,” the LCK promises.
At the halfway point of the regular season, Gen.G is in the lead with 8-1, followed by DragonX and T1 who are tied for second at 7-2.
Hello and Goodbye to Fiddlesticks
Fiddlesticks was one of the first champions I ever really mained when I first started playing League of Legends way back in Season 3. But before I got a grasp on the game, my friend would show me the ropes by having me go Rammus botlane against easy bots. Pressing E on unsuspecting AI only for my friend to come in and clean up an easy kill was the most fun I had ever had in an online video game.
After figuring out how to right click and QWER my way to victory against the bots, I decided I was going to try playing against players as a jungler, this way I could gank from more bushes than just bot lane’s. It's at this time that my friend pointed out the ol’ Fiddle on the champion select screen. This gangly, lerpy thing, he was. I loved it.
“His q fears, his w heals and damages, and his e silences. Also his R is a circle.”
It was so simple, I’d simply qwer qwer qwer to rank 30, into bronze (this was before Iron was even a rank), and onto to silver in no time by pressing q on enemy champions while pressing w onto neutral camps. And for a time, it really worked.
You see, Fiddlesticks was devised and designed in a time when the overall skill level of the average player in MOBA’s was much worse, and the roles of each player were a bit more vague. This meant that champions were both far more simplistic (and broken, Kassadin?) and general in their kit than they are now. Mobility, varying damage types, and finely tuned roles for champions were a rare sight. That is, unless you were playing a jungler.
Back then, things were a lot simpler, as I just explained. When it came to junglers, there wasn’t much creativity in their design philosophy. They can cc laners and heal while dealing damage to creeps. Warwick is a fine example of this. Xin Zhao, with what was his passive heal every third hit, another. But Fiddlesticks was so blatantly the most straightforward champion I had (and have) ever seen that it's almost comical. Imagine trying to advertise him.
“He can stop those laners with a q! Heal himself in the jungle with the w! E for RNG heaven! And an R that’s great against enemies that don’t ward!” It was so simple, which was PERFECT the newbie me. W blue buff, smack his side-kicks with autos, go to a lane and press q, farm. Repeat.
As time has passed, and junglers like Warwick and Xin have received reworks (no more WW 1 frame suppressions, sad days!), but Fiddle has remained largely the same. I used the word comical before, and that's exactly what I felt like as I took him out one last to the mid lane just for fun.
In a ranked match.
Yes, it was really stupid of me. No, I don’t regret it. RIP my LP.
I hadn’t played him in years, but seeing as he’s getting a rework, as announced by Riot earlier last week, I thought it would be nice to give him a farewell welcoming party (what?) His kit’s age was showing. You can’t clear anything quickly, you can’t fight anything effectively, even your R is underwhelming against teams that aren’t a crazy amount of gold behind you. It's obvious to me, now, why he was only played in the support role.
Simply put, he’s just annoying. Not good, not threatening unless you stand in front of him for a long time doing nothing. Just annoying. Like a brand support, with less kill pressure. Like an Annie support with… less kill pressure. Annoying.
In the mid lane, he’s not even that, these days. He’s almost non-consequential, and it's a relief that Riot have gotten around to taking him out of this state. I’m not going to lie to you, I’ll definitely miss him and his old-timey ways. Not so much playing him, but just knowing that he’s in the game the way I remember (even with the small little tune ups he’s received) will be a sorry thing to let go. Like a little piece of history in my gaming career, gone.
But ultimately, It has to happen. Fiddle, in his bumbling lost state, represents my time as a bumbling buffoon learning how to jungle. That time has come and gone, and so must Fiddle’s rework. So here’s an article that exists just to reminisce about the old days of being able to suck the blue buff dry with a Fiddle W and call it effective jungling.
Here’s to Fiddlesticks. Goodbye to all his simplicity that I loved so much, and hello to what he truly deserves. A viable kit (Hopefully...)! Cheers, Friends.
LCS Resuming this weekend!
LCS and Academy are returning to play this weekend! The matches will resume as schedules, except Monday Night League matches have been shifted to play on Saturday and Sunday. Likewise, Academy Rush has been cancelled in favor of showing all 5 academy matches back-to-back on the same day.
Matches will be played online on a dedicated server which will allow players to play with ~10ms ping. This is only 3ms higher than the on-stage server, so it should allow for a similarly competitive environment.
You can check out Riot's statement here:
About the players of leauge
The commmunity of league is very nice compared to other games mostly they will trash talk you but in league they help you get to silver if you are in dire need of help they will get mad of course but only if you are being toxic like feeding and trashtalkimg other players but the rest they are all so nice and helping.

LEC is back in action! Matches will resume this Friday and the remainder of the Split will be played remotely Online rather than LAN. This is great news and it's a good sign that the LCS will also return to action either this week or next.

Both LCS and LEC is suspending due to coronavirus
After all, LCS and LEC were also unsafe under the influence of coronavirus.
A few hours ago, LEC announced that they have to suspend the Split because one of the staff was suspected as infected. This just happened before the match of MAD Lions vs SK Gaming.
And after that, LCS also announced they have to suspend the Split as well. Since coronavirus is spreading in the USA, LCS decided to keep the Split without audiences, Final will take place in LCS studio yesterday. But it's only getting worse right now, and today they announced to suspend the Split. What a disaster.
LoL Esports Other Regions Vol.6
LCS & LEC finished Spring Split Week 7, LCK has finished Round 1, LPL has been resumed.
Let's see how's the other regions.
G2 had a crisis on Week 4 and 5, but they defeated Origen & Fnatic last week, stood alone in the 1st place again.
3 teams (Schalke 04, SK Gaming, Team Vitality) were already failed to advance to the Playoff. 6 teams out of 7 will go to the Playoff. G2, Fnatic, Origen almost for sure. Misfits, Rogue, MAD Lions, Excel Esports will compete for not being the only one team who will fail.
Gen.G on the top, T1 got unexpected loss from Afreeca Freecs.
SANDBOX, APK, Griffin are having a hard time. Especially Griffin, they had a lot of issues last year they fall to the bottom from the top. All teams between 1st to 6th place have a lot of potentials.
However, LCK is suspended due to coronavirus. There are no any officials about resume yet.
LPL has been finally restarted.
eStar & IG, 2018 World Champion are on the 1st and 2nd place.
LGD recruited Peanut, one of the most famous Jungle in LCK as their Jungle, but the team is terrible right now. But this is so early stage of their Spring Split. Also, the heavy schedule of LPL could make some differences. Let's see if they can bear with it until the end.
No more audiences in LCS, due to coronavirus
LCS officially announced that no audiences on the remaining LCS schedule.
LCS official twitter posted that they've come to the difficult decision to suspend the live audience, tailgates, and press at the LCS studios until further notice.
Since coronavirus is confirmed as 'Pandemic' level from WHO, so many offline events are canceling. E3 was canceled, LCK is suspended and now LCS. Since the coronavirus is getting serious in Europe, I think LEC is also in danger.
So sad that no one can watch LCS Spring Split until the end in the studio.
I need help inserting my stats and it’s not popping up . If it doesn’t work after help I’ll just post pictures 🌸

MSI 2020 delayed to July, Rift Rivals no more
Something is happening which was never happened.
MSI, previously played in May (After Spring Split), was delayed to July.
Rift Rivals, previously for 3 years played between Summer Split Round 1 and 2 is no more.
Both happened due to the global Coronavirus outbreak.
Riot Games has pushed the 2020 Mid-Season Invitational from May to July in addition to shifting dates for the League Summer Split due to growing concerns over Coronavirus, the publisher said today.
MSI, which has traditionally been held in May, is now slotted to take place from July 3 to 19. The Summer Split will begin before MSI in May. This decision, Riot said, was made to minimize the impact on the rest of the calendar year.
The first leagues to begin Summer Split play will be the OPL and VCS, which both start on May 15. Here are the start dates for all of the League regions.
OPL, VCS – Friday, May 15
LCS, TCL – Saturday, May 16
LCK – Wednesday, May 20
LEC – Friday, May 22
LPL, CBLOL – Saturday, May 23
PCS – Saturday, May 30
LJL – Sunday, May 31
LCL – Saturday, June 6
LLA – TBA
Riot has also decided to sunset Rift Rivals 2020 in the regions where the tournament was scheduled to take place. It added too many challenges that “were felt at both a regional and global level,” Riot said. Many teams were complaining about Rift Rivals due to the schedule, which was between Summer Split Round 1 and 2. Unlike MSI, Rift Rivals also had so a few rewards, it was more like just an event match.
Last month, Riot Games was forced to delay its announcement of the MSI 2020 location because of the coronavirus outbreak, which has claimed nearly 4,000 lives worldwide. China and South Korea, League’s most successful regions, have the first and second-most confirmed cases of coronavirus.
The situation will continue to be assessed by Riot and is subject to change if the overall global health and safety circumstances aren’t satisfactory for the company’s standards.
Due to Coronavirus, LPL was stopped more than one month and now since they restarted the Spring Split, they're playing everyday, no break.
LCK is paused for the same reason, due to Coronavirus. They finished the schedule until Round 1, but no detailed schedule for Round 2 yet. But they have to make the schedule asap because the starting day of Summer Split is already decided on May 20.
Coronavirus is getting serious not only in China and Korea, but even also in Italy and France. Probably this was also one of the reasons that Riot Games decided to delay MSI, pulled the schedule of Summer Split.
Looking for a ADC
I mainly play pyke, thresh, yummi, rakan, or blitz so looking for someone to duo ranked with that works well with those champs
Looking for some people to add me on LoL (@AlphaBurton) so I can have some friends to play with on there!
LCS 2020 Spring Week 7 Day 3 result
Immortals vs Team Liquid - Immortals win
Cloud9 vs Golden Guardians - Cloud9 win
Doublelift played the match, but the winner was Immortals. These past few days or weeks, Doublelift was benched. He played the match against Immortals, but his performance wasn't special.
Doublelift said "I'm benched because I had no motivation until very recently. Being sick and unable to compete gave me my passion back, but too late. I'm sorry towards every one of my teammates and I'll be working from now on to regain their trust." on his twitter, 4th Mar.
Immortals won one of the most important matches for the Playoff. 4th place with 7-7, same as 100 Thieves & EG. The way to the Playoff is so tough, let's see that Immortals can make their way.
C9 recorded their first loss from TSM, and the match against Golden Guardians was looks like they are avenging to the wrong target. Golden Guardians, they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. They were crushed so hard and will have a hard time qualifying to the Playoff.
Imagine Carrying 30 Kilos Worth Of Weaponry

LCS 2020 Spring Week 7 Day 2 result
100 Thieves vs Immortals - 100 Thieves win
Flyquest vs TSM - TSM win
Golden Guardians vs Dignitas - Golden Guardians win
CLG vs Evil Geniuses - Evil Geniuses win
100 Thieves, they were in 7th place last week, but they won both matches in this week and became 4th place with 7-7.
TSM vs Flyquest, probably one of the most important matches for both teams and TSM got the match. Flyquest looked to be the 2nd place for sure, but they lose against EG & TSM. TSM won all matches this week, threatening Flyquest.
Golden Guardians, they were on the bottom except CLG, but now on the middle. Dignitas is in serious trouble. They started this Split with 3W, but now they are losing 5 times in a row. 5-9, 9th place. Only 4 more matches left for them but luckily the most opponents are easier than this week (except TSM). They are on the deadline now. One more lose, there would be no hope for Playoff.
EG won the match 3 times in a row. Jiizuke showed so terrible performances early in the Split, but it seems like he finally remembered how he played in LEC before. CLG, probably there's no spot in Playoff for them.
New skin of Lux this is awesome

LCS 2020 Spring Week 7 Day 1 result & review
TSM vs Cloud9 - TSM win
Dignitas vs 100 Thieves - 100 Thieves win
Team Liquid vs CLG - CLG win
Evil Geniuses vs Flyquest - Evil Geniuses win
Today was the day of unexpected change. CLG, the bottom of LCS defeated Team Liquid, Evil Geniuses, 8th place team took Flyquest, the 2nd place team down. Most of all, TSM pull out the victory against the previously undefeated and what look to be unbeatable C9.
I think everyone predicted that C9 will win the match for sure, as they always did. TSM picked up Zilean for mid against Zoe. After that, C9 picked Shen for top as well.
The first few minutes seems like C9’s gonna show how strong they are. At 10 min, both team’s bottom headed to Top. TSM reached first and they killed Shen of Licorice with 4 man gank. But just after that, Leona of Vulcun ambushed Biofrost from the bush. Zven took the kill, C9 chased Jarvan IV of Dardoch over the wall as well and killed him.
TSM did not give up the top. Sett of BrokenBlade used Teleport to top and surrounded the turret and Licorice. When the minion wave reached to the turret, TSM dived into the deep side of C9 and killed Licorice again.
But it was too deep. Zoe of Nisqy joined the team fight with Teleport, Zven killed Kobbe without Ult & Flash easily. Zilean of Bjergsen also joined with Teleport, saved Dardoch with his ult. BrokenBlade used his ult to Vulcun and looked for both Leona & Miss Fortune, but he had too low HP to use W. Zven got Killing Spree, TSM also killed Vulcun but they had no choice but fall back.
Bjergsen predicted Nisqy’s chasing location perfectly and gave 2 bombs on his head, lower his health less than 10% but Nisqy did not give up to chase TSM. With extremely low health, Nisqy hits Trouble Bubble to Dardoch and killed him. Bjergsen landed the bomb on Nisqy’s ult back location but revived Licorice used ult on Nisqy and saved him. After 1-minute nonstop team fight, C9 took the advantage again.
Only 90 seconds after that huge team fight on top, both teams except top laner, start to fight again near the Dragon. Dardoch and Vulcun faced each other, Dardoch used EQ to Vulcun and TSM killed Vulcun & Blaber first. Xayah of Kobbe was so near to assist Dardoch but Zven was over the wall so he was not able to join the team fight. Nisqy killed Biofrost, but TSM got 3 include Nisqy.
The game was so even until 16 min, less than 1K gold lead from C9. They fought in fron of the Dragon again, and at this moment, TSM showed what they planned for the team fight.
Since Vulcun missed skill, TSM aimed Vulcun’s head. Vulcun’s HP went so low and Licorice used ult to save him. Right after that, BrokenBlade used his ult to deliver Vulcun near Zven. That seems like BrokenBlade was isolated from his team, Blaber also went close to kill him, Licorice was teleported as well. 4 champions of C9 was near Sett of BrokenBlade. BB used E, 4 champions of C9 got stunned with stuck together. That was a dining bell for TSM. EW from Sett, and Rakan of Biofrost used his ult & W. 4 man charmed & airborne, Bjergsen threw the bombs on C9’s head and caused 4 man stun, Featherstorm from Kobbe wiped C9. Only Nisqy barely survived from this Wombo Combo.
At 21 min, Dardoch headed toward to the backline of C9. Most of Jarvan IV dies after they use EQ ult, but TSM had Zilean. TSM fall back after they killed Vulcun, and revived Jarvan was left behind. C9 chased Dardoch to kill him, but they were baited. C9 stuck together again to chase Dardoch without knowing. Due to their position, BrokenBlade seizes a perfect opportunity for his EW.
3 man stun from BB, Biofrost used ult & W, Kobbe’s ult on it again. Only Licorice barely survived this time, but the game was already going to the end. TSM pushed so hard after they took Baron, C9 had no power to push them back anymore. 26 min, TSM became the first team who crushed C9 this 2020 LCS Spring Split.
Looking to make a Jungler “club”!
The title says it all. I am a current Plat 3/2 jungler who enjoys the rush of playing against other confident and/or experienced junglers. However, the only other thing better than matching up against them, is being able to SHARE knowledge with them. I tend to add “good” junglers so that we can play some games, talk strategy, and give critique on certain gameplay/ideas. Moot is a new, but fun mobile platform where the LoL community continues to grow and I would love to meet more junglers either new or experienced. The group can be used in client for chatting and LFG ideally but it can definitely become something more! If you want, you can add me @ Apex Jay on the NA server :)
