Mana can go below zero

Artifact: General - Mana can go below zero image 1

I'm sure many of you are already familiar with this info given how the most people in this lounge are eyeing on Twitter constantly, but I've brought this here to ask for opinions. Since modification is a permanent effect, if it is possible, do you think it's wise to build a deck based on mana modification? By modifying your opponent's total number of mana below zero, I think there's a possibility to win early in the game by seizing the ability to play cards at all. What do you think?

I'm not familiar with cards that can modify mana, but it wouldn't be usable in the early game considering how it can break the game if there are no restrictions. They will likely to cost you a large amount of mana in the first place. A temporary effect, however, would have less limits but is not really feasible enough to take the early win or turn the tables around later in the game in my opinion.
