How to Toggle Your Online Status
To turn your Online Status on or off please navigate to your profile, tap on the “gear” icon, and then tap “Show Online Status” (Off/On).
How to Set Your Moot URL
What is a Moot URL?
A Moot URL is your unique identity on Moot that you can set yourself.
Make sure you are satisfied with what you want your URL to be, as you can ONLY SET THIS ONCE! Double check and make sure there are no typos, and that the URL you decide to pick is the one you want!
Navigate to your profile, and tap the three-dot icon and choose “Edit."
You will see “My Moot URL” on its own line, with an editable field following the @ symbol.
Type your desired URL, hit save, and you’re done!
REMEMBER: YOU CAN ONLY SET THIS ONCE! BE SURE YOU HAVE DOUBLE-CHECKED IT AND YOU ARE HAPPY WITH IT!

How to Report a Post/Comment/User/Message
To report a post: While in a post, tap the “alarm” icon in the top right-hand corner.
To report a comment: Tap the three-dot icon at the bottom of any comment and choose the “Report” option.
To report a user: navigate to a users’ profile by tapping on their profile avatar. Once in their profile, tap on the three-dot icon and choose “Report User”.
To report a message: in the direct message conversation, long-press (press and hold) the individual message(s) you wish to report, and choose the “Report” option.
How to Add Items From the Moot Coin Shop to Your Wishlist
To add an item to your Wishlist from the Moot Coin Shop, tap on the Shop icon located in the top right-hand corner of the Moot homepage. Next, swipe left to “All Items” and tap on any item you don’t already own. Now you will be notified when the item become next available in the shop!
How to Block a User
To Block a user, navigate to a users’ profile by tapping on their profile avatar. Once in their profile, tap on the three-dot icon and choose “Block User”. It’s that easy!
How to Claim Moot Stamp Rewards
First, you need to open Moot (easy enough). From there, please navigate to the Moot Goals section by clicking on the trophy with a C on it at the top right of the screen (just to the left of the Shop icon). If you have any days to stamp you can do so by tapping on the circle with a perforated gold ring around it!
*NOTE* Not everyday gives rewards, but most will! Sometimes you will simply need to continue your login streak so you can get tomorrows reward!
How to Filter Group Chats
First, head on over to your DMs by tapping the envelope icon on the bottom menu bar. Then, tap on the drop down menu located at the top left of the screen and filter your conversations by LFG, Group, or 1:1!
How to Edit Group Chat Name/Picture
*Note: You must be the Creator of the group chat in order to do this*
First, head on over to your DMs by tapping the envelope icon on the bottom menu bar. From there, select the group chat you wish to edit. Then, tap on the “...” icon located at the top right and select “Edit Chatroom.” You are then able to change the name by tapping on the current name and writing out a new name, or change the group chat image by clicking on the current image and selecting a new one!
How to Pin a DM Conversation
First, head on over to your DMs by tapping the envelope icon on the bottom menu bar. From there, located the message thread you wish to pin. Swipe left on the message (do not tap on it first!) and select the push pin icon!
How to Turn On Message Requests
First, head on over to your profile and click on the settings icon located in the top left. Then, tap on Notifications and from there you can toggle your Message Requests on or off.
What are Quests?
Quests are an awesome way that we try to engage our community! Quests provide you with a task to complete and a reward when you complete it. If you’re stuck on any quest please direct message Team Moot or email us at moot_help@navercorp.com so we can assist you!
What are Boards?
Boards are what make up Lounges! We split up the conversation without Lounges into different Boards to keep things clean. You can select different Boards without a lounge by navigating from the menu at the top of the Lounge.
What are Lounges?
Lounges are where all the magic happens! Lounges are game or topic-specific areas to discuss your favorite topics. Fortnite conversations take place in the Fortnite lounge, we discuss Moot in the Moot lounge, etc.
What is a Cover Photo?
Cover Photos are the background pictures over the top of your profile. To change this, purchase a Cover Photo Coupon from the Moot Coin Shop first.
What is a Title?
Titles are the little phrases next to your name!
What is a Badge?
Badges are the little image over the bottom right corner of your profile picture. You earn badges as you level up but you can also purchase badges from the Moot Coin Shop.
How to find Content Policy
Our content policy covers what is and what is not acceptable to post on Moot. To access the Content Policy, first go to your profile by tapping the picture of a person on the right side of the bottom menu. Then, tap the gear icon at the top left to open settings. Next, scroll down and select ‘Content Policy.’

How to Turn Off Notifications
First, go to your profile by tapping the picture of a person on the right side of the bottom menu. Then, tap the gear icon at the top left to open settings. Next, tap notifications. Finally, toggle on and off which items you would like to get push notifications for. Remember to scroll down to control email notifications as well!
How to Search Moot
There is a Search Bar at the top of Moot’s Home page! You can use it to search for specific posts, members, or games. Type in what you’re looking for and make sure you select ‘Posts,’ ‘Members,’ or ‘Games’ depending on what you’re looking for.
How to Follow/Unfollow Users
When you are visiting a users’ profile you have the option to follow or unfollow the user! To do this, just simply tap on the “Follow” or “Unfollow” button located in the middle of the screen.
How to Pin Games
There are multiple ways to Pin game lounges! 1) You can add pinned lounges from your Home page. If you have no lounges pinned, tap the ‘go to pin’ button. If you already have lounges pinned, tap the plus button to pin more! 2) When in a specific lounge, you can pin it by tapping the ‘pin’ icon at the top right.
How to Block Direct Messages
First, open your Messages by tapping the envelope icon in the middle of the bottom menu. Next, swipe to the left on the conversation with a person you would like to block. (DO NOT OPEN THE CONVERSATION). Finally, select ‘Block’ and confirm you would like to block this user from direct messaging you in the future.
How to Request a Game!
Tap the icon of 4 squares on the bottom menu bar. This may take you to your most recently visited lounge; if it does, please tap the back arrow at the top left. Now, you’ll see a list of all Game Lounges on Moot. If there is not a lounge for a game you like, you can request it by tapping the box at the top of the screen.
How to find Game Lounges
Tap the icon of 4 squares on the bottom menu bar. This may take you to your most recently visited lounge; if it does, please tap the back arrow at the top left. Now, you’ll see a list of all Game Lounges on Moot. You can scroll down to view more Games or use the search bar at the top.
How to send a Direct Message
First, tap on the envelope icon located at the bottom menu of the homepage. From there you can tap on the envelope icon located at the bottom right of the screen, enter the person in which you are trying to message, write out the content, and press “Send!”
How to Customize Homepage
On Moot you have the option to hide content from certain game lounges you wish not to see! All you have to do is find a post on the Homepage from an undesirable lounge, click the “...” at the top right of the post and select “Hide this lounge from home.”
How to Delete Account
We’re so sad you’re leaving us! To delete your account, first navigate to your profile page by tapping the the picture of a person on the right side of the bottom menu. Then, tap the gear icon at the top left to open settings. Next, tap Account. Finally, tap Delete Account at the bottom and confirm you would like to delete your account.
How to spend Moot Tickets
Head on over to the Moot Coin Shop and check out the top row to see the items we are holding a giveaway for! Select enter on whichever item you want, as many times as you want, and wait for the drawing where we announce the winners!
How to earn Moot Tickets
You earn ONE Moot Ticket for every 100 Moot Coins you spend in the Moot Coin Shop! You can also earn Moot Tickets by completing certain achievements. These Tickets can be used to enter yourself into Moot Giveaways (which can be found in the Shop)!
How to find the Moot Coin Shop
See the little Shop icon located at the top right corner of the screen? Tap that and check out what items are in the Moot Coin Shop today!
How to Spend Moot Coins
Head on over to the Moot Coin Shop, find your desired item and tap on it! A popup will appear asking if you are you sure you want to purchase the selected item where you can select “Cancel” or “Purchase!”
How to Earn Moot Coins
You can earn Moot Coins in several different ways! You earn Moot Coins when you post, comment, or upvote. You can also earn Moot Coins from achievements, which you can view by tapping the trophy icon at the top right of your profile. Finally, we often have events and contests that reward Moot Coins. Make sure you’re following Team Moot to get notifications!
How to Comment
Once you are on a post, tap on “Write a comment” located at the very bottom of the screen. Write out what you have to say, attach an image or a GIF, and press “Done” located at the top right!
How to Create an LFG Post
First, head on over to the lounge of the game you wish to play and scroll over to the Looking for Group board. From there you can click the white pencil icon at the bottom right hand corner of the screen and fill out all of the information for your LFG Post! Tap the word “Post” at the top right corner and you are all set!
How to add Pictures/Videos/Gifs/Polls
When creating a post you can include pictures, videos, GIFs, and Polls in your content! To do so, please follow the instructions from “How to Post” and select the options located at the bottom of the screen!
How to Post
Please tap on the white pencil icon located at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. From there you can select the lounge, the board, and the content you wish to include. Happy posting!
How to set LFG Preset
Please visit your profile and tap on “LFG Preset.” From there, turn your LFG Preset on or off by tapping the option at the top. When it is on you can select your game, platform, mode, microphone setting, and region for the players you want to play with!
How to Invite Friends
Please visit your profile and tap on “Invite” and select the method you wish to share your Invite URL! Make sure your friend uses your link and follows all of the steps to create an account in order to receive the 300 Moot Coins.
How to add Game Accounts
Please visit your profile and tap the "..." button near the top right of the screen, and the click "Edit.” From there, scroll down to the section titled “Game Accounts” and enter your gamertag for any platform you play on!
How to add Streaming Accounts
Please visit your profile and tap the "..." button near the top right of the screen, and the click "Edit.” From there, scroll down to the section titled “Streaming Accounts” and enter your full URL in the appropriate slot (YouTube, Twitch, or Mixer).
How to integrate Stats
Please visit your profile and tap the "..." button near the top right of the screen, and the click "Edit.” From there, scroll down to the section titled “Stats,” select on the platforms you play on, and enter the Game ID’s for the games you play!
How to add Hashtags to Profile
Please visit your profile and tap the "..." button near the top right of the screen, and the click "Edit.” From there, tap on the section with the words “Add some tags that you often use” and select your hashtags!
How to change Title
Please visit your profile and tap the "..." button near the top right of the screen, and then click "Edit.” From there, tap on the drop down arrow to the right of the word Title and select your desired title!
How to change Bio
Please visit your profile and tap the "..." button near the top right of the screen, and then click "Edit.” From there, tap on the open text area to the right of the words BIO.
How to change Username
Please visit your profile and tap the "..." button near the top right of the screen, and then click "Edit.” From there, tap on your current username and type in the new name you desire. Please note you only have three chances to change your username so make it count!
How to change Badge
Please visit your profile and tap the “...” button (iOS: top right-hand corner of screen, Android: Next to Invite button) and select "Edit." From there tap the pencil icon by your profile picture and select a badge from your collection.
