The user interface for the PlayStation 5 has been revealed. With their latest “First Look” video, Sony provides an in-depth breakdown of the upcoming console’s new user experience, and it’s significantly different from the PlayStation 4. The home layout is broken down into various “cards” which act as portals to things like news, games, and your recent recordings and screenshots. In regards to games, the cards provide a surprising amount of information about your progress, including your current objectives and a personalized estimation of how long it will likely take you to complete them. The video itself is a bit lengthy at 11 minutes long, but it’s definitely worth watching if you’re planning on picking up a PlayStation 5 once it launches on November 12. 2. Cyberpunk Vehicles CD Projekt Red has unveiled several of Cyberpunk 2077’s vehicles via the new “Rides of the Dark Future” trailer. It looks like there will be no shortage of options to choose from with some of the trailer’s highlights including a retro 1977 Porsche 911 (which would be 100 years old in the game), futuristic hypercars and armored vehicles, and a modified version of one of Keanu Reeves’ very own Arch motorcycles. Cyberpunk 2077 is set to arrive on November 19; you can check out the Rides of the Dark Future trailer below.
3. Epic Freebies Another week of freebies from Epic Games is here. This week’s free games are Kingdom New Lands and Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. You can grab your free copy of these games directly from the Epic Games Store from now until October 22. 4. TMNT Smite The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will soon be coming to Smite. This marks the second Smite x Nickelodeon collaboration after Aang, Zuko, and Korra from Avatar: The Last Airbender were introduced to the game earlier this year. As for TMNT, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo will all be joining the god-filled fray. Like the Avatar crossover, the Turtles won’t be completely new characters with their own unique abilities, but rather skins of existing characters with new animations and models. The crossover is set to commence via the Smite Battle Pass in November; you can check out the trailer for the collaboration below.
