1. Ninja Signs to Twitch
Ninja has officially signed with Twitch. After Mixer shut down earlier this year, many fans were wondering where the popular streamer would return to, or if he would return with any permanence at all considering he reportedly made $30M from his Mixer deal. Ninja has finally put all theories to rest, confirming that he has signed an exclusive, multi-year deal with Twitch. In his statement, Ninja expressed his excitement to “get back to streaming full-time” and said that he plans to use his new platform to “bring more eyes to underrepresented creators.”
2. Immortals Fenyx Rising Immortals Fenyx Rising has officially been revealed. Heavily inspired by the Legend of Zelda series, Immortals Fenyx Rising is essentially Ubisoft’s rendition of Breath of the Wild. Unlike the Legend of Zelda games however, Immortals: Fenyx Rising also pulls from history and Greek mythology, prominently featuring gods like Zeus and Prometheus. Immortals Fenyx Rising is set to launch on December 3; you can check out the world premier trailer for the game below.
3. Epic Freebies Another week of freebies from Epic Games is here. This week’s free games are Railway Empire and Where the Water Tastes Like Wine. 4. World of Warcraft Shadowlands The World of Warcraft Shadowlands expansion is coming soon and Blizzard just revealed a bunch of new details about the next stage of WoW. In Shadowlands, players will join one of four Covenants which each offer unique rewards, perks, abilities, and end-game activities. Although choosing your Covenant may seem like a difficult task considering how impactful Covenants will be, Blizzard has assured fans that “a player who regrets their Covenant choice, and who wants to change their mind, should be able to do so straightforwardly at any point during the expansion, with no long-term drawbacks or disadvantages.” The Shadowlands expansion is set to arrive on October 26.
5. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake Ubisoft has officially announced that a Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake is coming soon. A generic Prince of Persia remake was accidentally leaked last month on the Uplay store, but we now know that the remake will focus exclusively on The Sands of Time. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is set to launch on January 21 of next year; you can check out the official trailer for the game below.
