The Daily Moot: Fortnite Season 4
News Picks1. Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 is finally here. Dubbed Nexus War, this season brings a whole roster of villains and superheroes to the fray, with characters including Thor, Wolverine, Iron Man, and Doctor Doom. If you’re curious how all these gods and heroes ended up on the Fortnite island, Season 4 has launched with its own comic book series enabling players to “experience the Nexus War.” Speaking of the island, the influx of heroes has also led to some map changes with new locations such as Doom’s Domain and Sentinel Graveyard. Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 is live now; you can check out the trailer for Nexus War below.
2. K/DA The Baddest The League of Legends virtual k-pop group K/DA just released their new single “The Baddest.” K/DA, which is voiced by (G)I-DLE’s Soyeon and Miyeon along with Bea Miller and Wolftyla, first attained viral fame with their debut single “POP/STARS” in 2018. The Baddest marks the long awaited return for the group, and serves as a preview single for their upcoming EP. Despite widespread rumors, The Baddest did not introduce Seraphine as a new member of the group, but that could certainly change once the EP is released in the near future. Unfortunately there's no music video yet, but you can check out the song The Baddest below.
3. Epic Freebies Another week of freebies from Epic Games is here. This week’s free games are Hitman and Shadowrun Collection. You can grab your free copies of these games directly from the Epic Games Store from now until September 3. As long as you claim the games by September 3, they will stay in your library forever.
4. Little Nightmares 2 Little Nightmares 2 has been revealed. The long-awaited sequel to the critically acclaimed creepy puzzle-platformer, Little Nightmares 2 seems to be substantially different from its predecessor. Namely, Little Nightmares 2 will have you play 2 characters simultaneously rather than one, although it’s currently unclear whether or not the game will support co-op. Little Nightmares 2 is set to launch on February 11 of next year; you can check out the gameplay reveal trailer below.
5. Guild Wars 2 Steam Guild Wars 2 will soon be coming to Steam. The popular MMORPG is over 8 years old at this point, but has been confined to its own independent launcher. Unfortunately, players will not be able to transfer their existing Guild Wars 2 accounts to Steam, meaning that players will have to start from scratch if they want to play on Steam. Guild Wars 2 is also getting a new expansion soon called End of Dragons. Guild Wars 2 is set to arrive on Steam in November of this year with the End of Dragons expansion slated for early 2021. You can check out the trailer for End of Dragons below.
