Wtf moot let me get rid of the notifications
The Daily Moot: Call of Duty: Warzone
1. Call of Duty: Warzone
Call of Duty: Warzone is here! The standalone battle royale game is free-to-play for everyone, even if you don’t have Modern Warfare. Unlike most battle royales, Warzone will have 2 different game modes. The first is the standard battle royale experience where gas closes in and the last player standing wins. The second mode is called Plunder, and is all about looting and stealing cash in an effort to be the richest player. Both modes take place on a new 150-player map called Verdansk. Call of Duty: Warzone launches tomorrow; check out the trailer below!
2. Fortnite Duos Champion Series
A new competitive Champion Series has been announced, this time featuring duos! Think you and your partner have what it takes to come out on top? There are plenty of prizes up for grabs and the first "training simulation" starts on March 13. If you don't have a duo partner yet, be sure to head over to the Fortnite lounge to find the perfect teammate for you. Check out the announcement video below for more details on the FNCS.
3. Epic Games and GeForce Now
Tim Sweeny, CEO of Epic Games, just released a statement saying that they are “wholeheartedly supporting” Nvidia’s GeForce Now. Considered to be the best cloud-based streaming service on the market, GeForce Now is thought by many to be the Stadia killer. Epic’s recent statements only make this argument stronger, as it confirms that Epic exclusive games will be available on GeForce Now.
4. SXSW Cancelled
For the first time in 34 years, the popular music, arts, and entertainment festival SXSW (South by Southwest) has been cancelled. Like many other events this year, this cancellation is in response to growing concerns about the Covid-19 coronavirus. The determination didn't come from event organizers, but rather the host city of Austin, Texas. No word yet on whether or not they will try to reschedule.
5. Amnesia Sequel Announced
After months of teasing, a sequel to Amnesia: The Dark Descent has finally been announced. The new game will be called Amnesia: Rebirth and will follow Tasi Trianon as she gets chased through a haunted version of Algeria. As with the first game, Amnesia: Rebirth will be a first-person experience where you’ll have to escape and hide from the horrors that want you dead. Amnesia: Rebirth is set to launch in autumn of this year. Check out the trailer below.
I love this app
They ruined this app...
I have notifications showing when I have already marked my messages, item shop, notifications, and feed as read and I turned off notifications and they still show. No one reads posts anymore cause the new layout sucks, and it’s now a maze to navigate. Also the app is dead, and the only kids on here are 9 year old beggars for gifts and giveaway leechers. I’m done trying to use this app, it’s just disgusting.
Bring back ultra sun and ultra moon trading choice please
Maybe remove the email notification
Who thought it would be a good idea that you receive an email every time someone replies to your comment? Now my inbox is just gonna be full of "[moot] Your Comment Received a Comment". Is there an option to turn this off or something?
I'm not pissed or anything but I just don't see the benefit of getting an email every time

Ideas to improve lounges
Please read through and give your opinion in the comments, this took me a while to think up...
I've seen that people really like to get "noticed" so most of these ideas come from this. I think that these ideas can make it so people stay longer on moot. Maybe even use it more often...
1) Some sort of shoutout system
I know you have a "Most Active" shoutout list but what if you posted the best content creators on moot as a shoutout. To make your job easier just have a poll or something of some of the best content creators of each lounge. This idea is kinda far fetched but might help 🤷♂️
2) Welcome message to new users
Have the "tutorial" show the message and in the message a post will explain how moot works
3) Shoutout new mooters
This desperately needs to happen! I dont care where you put it, it just needs to be done. Makes it so much better for new mooters to be welcomed in to the community and not feel left out at the very start and delete the app right away
4) Have every user automatically following Team Moot
This will make everyone more connected with the community as well. You can also allow mooters to unfollow but warn them before they do
5) Less Clutter
I feel with the recent update new mooters would be absolutely lost. I think that it's really or organized but feels like it's too cluttered and confusing. Hope that makes sense idk 🤷♂️
Extra ideas (quality of life changes)
1) Last Seen on badges, colors, etc.
For example, in "all items" each individual item will have a "Last Seen" tag on it so people know how rare it is...
2) Force all new mooters to make a moot url
This makes it 100 times easier to shout new mooters out. Also gets them easily connected
3) Make me an admin 😂
Jkjk.....unless 👀 😂
❤love you all❤
This update though looks so NOICE!!
Love this update ❤️
What happened to the shop?

The Daily Moot: R6 Siege Free Weekend, New Pokemon Game
1. Rainbow Six Siege Free Weekend
Free Weekend is back! From now until March 8, you can download and play Rainbow Six Siege for free. You’ll have access to the full game, including all maps and modes. Any progress you make will be saved, so if you choose to buy the game in the future you can rest assured that your efforts this weekend won’t have gone to waste. It's a good thing too, because Siege is also having a huge sale right now with discounts of up to 70% off. Rainbow Six Siege Free Weekend is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
2. New Pokemon Game
A new Pokemon game called Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX is now available on the Nintendo Switch. The game is a remake of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team Red and Blue, and is quite a bit different than your standard Pokemon game. In Rescue Team DX, the player has been transformed into a Pokemon and must plunge into randomly generated dungeons in order to rescue items and other Pokemon. The new game is available for $60, and while that might seem a bit pricey for a Pokemon spin-off, there’s a free demo available so it’s definitely worth checking out before you buy.
3. Nintendo PlayStation
A Nintendo PlayStation prototype console just sold at auction, netting one of the highest prices ever recorded for a gaming-related sale at $360,000. The prototype serves as one of the great “what-ifs” of the gaming industry, as the brief partnership between Sony and Nintendo quickly fizzled out. Of course, the division was probably for the best as Nintendo and Sony have both been incredibly successful and are easily the 2 best-selling video game manufacturers on the planet.
4. Destiny 2 Rasputin ARG Solved
After 2 years of mystery, Destiny 2’s Rasputin ARG puzzle has finally been solved. The puzzle contained 3 parts and while the first 2 were solved properly, nobody could figure out the third. The Destiny community managed to brute-force the answer “mechanized,” but the true solution remained unknown until today. Players Javano and Bachmanetti managed to solve the puzzle by aiming the Sleeper Stimulant at a specific wall, underlining certain letters which could be rearranged to spell the secret word.
5. Rust Update
A new update just hit Rust and it introduced CCTV cameras to the game. Set up the cameras inside and around your base to keep an eye on potential threats. You can access the camera footage via your base’s computer, and each camera has a unique identifier code which you can set. Be aware that the footage can be accessed by anybody who has the camera’s identifier code, meaning you can theoretically hack into other players’ cameras to gain a competitive advantage.

Moot Update v3.0.0!
Hey Moot-fasa, guess what day it is? That's right, it's FRIDAY!
More importantly though, it is also UPDATE DAY and boy howdy have we got a big'un today. Let's dive in!
1) Navigate to your Pinned Lounges from the Home Page!
You can now navigate to your Pinned Lounges from the Home Page (again)! You'll see your Pinned Lounges at the top of the Home Page. You can go straight to a Lounge by tapping the Lounge Icon at the top OR you can swipe to the right. Notice how a quick swipe to the right brought us straight to the Pokemon Lounge. If we keep swiping, we can navigate through our favorite lounges IMMEDIATELY!
2) New Games List Location!
We've moved the Games List out of the bottom menu bar. You can now find the Games List by tapping the plus icon circled in red below. You'll find this after swiping all the way to the right in the list of your Pinned Lounges.
3) New News Feed Feed (sorry, we had to do it to 'em)
So this is actually the same old News Feed, but now you access it through this icon in the bottom menu bar.
BONUS NOTE: HOW TO PIN LOUNGES!
The Daily Moot: Ghost of Tsushima!
1. Ghost of Tsushima
Ghost of Tsushima finally has an official release date! The highly anticipated PS4 exclusive will arrive on June 26 and is available for pre-order now. There are several editions of the game, starting with the Standard Edition which will cost $60, all the way up to the Collector’s Edition which is available for $170. Although it’s pretty expensive, the Collector’s Edition comes with a ton of awesome stuff, including a Sakai Mask, a 48-page art book, a war banner, and plenty of in-game goodies. Are you hyped are you hyped?
2. GameStop's Massive Changes
After suffering over $1B in losses over the past 2 years, GameStop is trying to change things up. Long known as the gaming retail store where players could trade in their old games, GameStop has been struggling in the era of digital game sales. After efforts to sell the business failed, GameStop has decided to try a different approach. Starting with a series of experimental stores, GameStops are being converted into social gaming spaces. This includes everything from couch co-op setups, to esports tournaments, to coding classes. Will this be enough to save GameStop? Only time will tell, but it’s clear that they need to do something before it’s too late.
3. The Last of Us Movie Cancelled
The Last of Us Movie, which was first announced back in 2014, has been cancelled. Progression of the project stalled in 2016 and Sony has been relatively silent about the movie ever since. It seems that Sony is now targeting their sights on an HBO series for The Last of Us rather than a movie. Neil Druckman is set to write the script for the series alongside Cheronobyl creator Craig Mazin.
4. New Star Wars Game
A new Star Wars game called Star Wars: Project Maverick has been announced. Interestingly, the game was leaked via a Twitter bot which reports on new PlayStation 4 releases. As such, there really aren’t any concrete details about the game yet, but we do know that it is in development by EA Motive and has been described as a “smaller, more unusual game.”
5. More Half-Life Games in the Works?
Half-Life: Alyx is just around the corner, finally ending the 12-year Half-Life drought. While fans are undoubtedly eager for Alyx, it appears that there may be even more Half-Life games in the works. In a recent interview, Valve’s Robin Walker said “We absolutely see Half-Life: Alyx as our return to this world, not the end of it.” While this statement doesn’t offer anything concrete, it’s certainly good news for long-time Half-Life fans. Half-Life: Alyx comes out on March 23.
The Daily Moot: Could Stadia be Good Now?
1. New Google Stadia Studio
It’s no secret that the Google Stadia thus far has been a disappointment. It’s not cheap, its competitors do its job better, and -most importantly- there are almost no games available on the platform. Well, it seems that they’re finally trying to change that. Google has just announced a new game and entertainment development studio based out of Playa Vista, California. While this is great in and of itself, the real big news here is that the head of the studio will be former God of War executive Shannon Studstill.
God of War has been one of the most consistent, critically-acclaimed gaming franchises of all time, and its tenure as a PlayStation exclusive has been a huge plus for the console. Could this mean that an amazing Stadia-exclusive game is in the works? Only time will tell, but for now this is a huge step in the right direction for the currently struggling cloud-gaming platform.
2. Vikendi Returning to PUBG
After the launch of Karain in January, Vikendi was removed from the PUBG map playlist. Although it’s only been a couple of months since then, it seems Vikendi has been overhauled and will be returning to the game. The original Vikendi was immediately popular as the small 64-player map encouraged high-octane, fast-paced gameplay. The new Vikendi is expected to hit test servers tomorrow.
3. Modern Warfare Tomogunchi
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has just released their version of the classic Tamagotchi called “Tomogunchi.” Like the old-school game, the new Tomogunchi is a virtual pet which you have to feed and take care of in order to keep it alive. Of course, this is Call of Duty we’re talking about, so instead of feeding it pet food, you’ll be feeding it with death. The Tomogunchi has an insatiatable appetite for killstreaks, objective control, and wins, and is available for 1000 MW points.
4. Sea of Thieves Heart of Fire
A new update called Heart of Fire is coming to Sea of Thieves. The update features banana-themed gear as well as a new Tall Tale. As hilarious as the new banana gear is, it unfortunately will only be available through the Pirate Emporium meaning you can’t earn it in-game. Heart of Fire goes live on March 11.
Moot always helped me finding new teammates. This app is the best tbh
The Daily Moot: E3 Saving the Gaming Industry
1. E3 Moving Forward
Amidst the frenzy caused by the coronavirus, there is still one convention that is moving forward: E3 2020. In their statement, ESA explained that while the health and safety of attendees is a top priority, they are moving “full speed” ahead with the convention. Considering that E3 had dwindled in the past years with big-name players like Sony opting out of the annual event, this year could be exactly what E3 needs to put itself back on the map. E3 2020 will begin on June 9.
2. League of Legends Client Revamp
Some big changes to the League of Legends client are apparently in the works. Fans have complained about the client forever, but after a major rework a few years ago things only seemed to get worse. Thankfully, Riot has started a “Client Cleanup Campaign” aimed at addressing the many grievances players have raised over the years.
3. BAFTA Game Awards
The 2020 BAFTA Game Awards is less than a month away and the nominees have finally been revealed. Like many of last year’s lists, Death Stranding and Control lead the way, this time with 11 nominations each. Game of the Year candidates include Control, Disco Elysium, Outer Wilds, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Sekiro, and Untitled Goose Game. The BAFTA Awards show will take place on April 2; which games do you want to see come out on top?
4. The Division 2: Warlords of New York
The latest DLC for The Division 2 is now available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Warlords of New York is a narrative-driven expansion where players search for rogue agent Aaron Keener. The Division 2, along with the new expansion, is also getting its Google Stadia launch on March 17. Check out the official launch trailer for Warlords of New York below.
P.S. On the fence about The Division 2? Check out Ryan's review of the game here!
The Daily Moot: The Future of Shooting Games has been Announced
1. Valorant Official Announcement
Riot Games’ upcoming competitive shooter Valorant has been officially announced! Described as a “5v5 character-based tactical shooter where creativity is your greatest weapon,” the new game is expected to go toe-to-toe with CS:GO and Overwatch, combining the best elements of both games. Riot promises the Valorant to be the most precise shooting game on the planet with 128-tick servers, optimization for maximum framerates, and less than 35ms ping for players around the world. Valorant is set to launch in Summer of this year, with a beta period expected to begin in the coming weeks.

2. GDC 2020 Cancelled
The latest gaming-related victim of the Covid-19 coronavirus, GDC 2020 has been cancelled. The annual Game Developers Conference is known to connect industry professionals from across the globe and also provides fans an opportunity to demo previously unseen games. Although the March date has been scrapped, GDC organizers state that they intend to hold the conference later this year in the Summer.
3. New Silent Hill Game?
Is Hideo Kojima trolling us or is there a new Silent Hill game in the works? In a recent tweet, Kojima Productions released a statement saying, “Sorry to be silent everyone! I've been really busy lately.....I think i can say more soon about what we are going.” Fans are not only caught up over the usage of the word “silent” in the tweet, but there are also several easter eggs hidden in the tweet’s picture. For example, fans have pointed out a note in the picture which says “next week” and a “pyramid” pencil (relating to Pyramid Head who is the series’ main antagonist). To be fair, these are some pretty far leaps and it wouldn’t be surprising at all if Kojima is just trolling his fans. At any rate, it seems we’ll likely get some more information in the near future.
4. FIFA Pro Scene Issues
Tired of dealing with EA’s persistent server issues, FIFA 20 pros have come up with a new way to determine the outcome of matches: rock, paper, scissors. That’s right, in a recent qualifying tournament Shaun Galea and Hasan Eker resorted to a game of rock, paper, scissors after they were repeatedly unable to connect to the servers in-game. EA released a statement saying that they are “reviewing this really unique situation to understand what occurred and try to prevent this from happening again.” In the end, both players were permitted to proceed to the next round of the tournament where they both lost their subsequent matches.
5. Death Stranding Coming to PC
After spending several months as a PS4 exclusive, Death Stranding is finally coming to PC. Journey across a mystery wasteland in an attempt to reconnect the shattered world and save humanity from its impending doom. The PC version of the game will include some extra benefits including high framerates, a photo mode, and Half-Life crossover content. Death Stranding will launch on June 2, and is available for pre-order on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
What the heck?
I have no idea why my attendance on this app keeps resetting when I log on here every day.

The Daily Moot: GTA 6 Coming Soon?
1. Rockstar Games New Logos
Two new logos have appeared on Rockstar Games’ official website. While this may not seem like big news in and of itself, these logos seem like nothing Rockstar has produced before which has fans speculating about the possibility of a brand-new game. One of the new logos in particular has fans anticipating a GTA 6 announcement, as the logo contains the message “Killing dreams, murdering people, fighting the righteous, bullying the weak.” So far Rockstar has been quiet about the rebranding, but we can probably expect to get some more details in the coming weeks.
2. Fortnite Revenue Declining?
According to a recent monthly earnings report from industry analyst SuperData, Fortnite’s revenue has dropped to its lowest level since 2017. While the report placed Fortnite as the 7th highest-earning game on console, the game failed to make the top 10 for PC and mobile. SuperData summed up the report by saying, “earnings continued their gradual decline and hit their lowest level since November 2017.” Epic Games has challenged this report as untrue and “wildly inaccurate,” saying “SuperData does not and has not ever had access to Epic's Fortnite revenue data” and that “SuperData's reports do not align with reality.”
3. Pokemon of the Year
As part of National Pokemon Day, The International Pokemon Company held a poll to determine the Pokemon of the Year for 2020. The results are surprising to say the least. After tallying millions of votes, the Pokemon of the Year is Greninja, the final evolution of the water-starter Froakie. Greninja beat out Lucario, Mimikyu, Charizard, and Umbreon which rounded out the top 5, while classics like Pikachu and Eevee fell to spots 19 and 20 respectively. Pokemon Day also led to the reveal of the newest mythical Pokemon for Sword and Shield, Zarude. Zarude is a dark/grass type Pokemon but you’ll have to search far and wide in order to catch one as its whereabouts are currently a mystery.
4. Dr Disrespect Signs with ROCCAT
Dr Disrespect has signed a new exclusive, multi-year deal with ROCCAT. Based in Germany, ROCCAT is a PC accessories brand that was acquired by Turtle Beach last year. This deal is just the latest for the Doc, as his portfolio includes a publishing deal with Gallery Books, a television deal with Skybound (the creator of The Walking Dead), and an apparel line with Meta Threads.
5. Borderlands 3 Headed to Steam
After 6 months as an Epic Games exclusive, Borderlands 3 is finally headed to Steam. The decision to make the game an Epic exclusive was extremely controversial and drew the ire fans, but it seems that sales were unaffected as Borderlands 3 became the fastest-selling game in history for publisher 2K Games. The Steam launch on March 13 is perfectly aligned with the arrival of the game’s second campaign expansion called “Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright and Hammerlock” which comes out on March 26. Check out the trailer for the new expansion below.

The Daily Moot: Olympic-Level Esports
1. The International is Proving the Power of Esports
The magnitude of esports is at an all-time high and there’s no tournament more prominent than the The International Dota 2 tournament. The International consistently boasts one of the largest prize pools in all of sports, and the economic impact of the tournament cannot be understated. This is why Valve has decided to do an Olympic-style bid for the host city of the 2021 showdown.
Citing the economic boost that The International brings to the city in which it is held, Valve mentioned in its proposal request that the tournament is “comparable to the NFL Superbowl, US Open Golf Championship, or the Eurovision Song Contest," and adds roughly $8M to the local economy. It will be very interesting to see how Valve’s plan plays out, as this could be a massive step forward for the progression and legitimization of esports across the globe.
2. Plague Inc. Removed from China App Store
Plague Inc. has been removed from the China App Store but not for the reason you probably have in mind. The developers of the wildly popular real-time strategy game, Ndemic Creations, issued a statement saying that the game “includes content that is illegal in China as determined by the Cyberspace Administration of China.” There’s no word on what exactly the illegal content is, but Ndemic is working with the Cyberspace Administration to come up with a solution as quickly as possible.
3. Stardew Valley Update
A brand-new free content update is apparently making its way to Stardew Valley. While you’d think that the one-man development crew of Eric Barone (aka ConcernedApe) would have his hands full working on the two new Stardew-related projects that he announced earlier this year, he’s still putting in efforts to improve the current Stardew Valley. Barone didn’t say what will be included in the 1.5 update, but considering how large the previous updates have been it’s fair to assume that this one will be very significant as well.
4. PUBG DDoS Attacks
PUBG has apparently been the victim of a surge of DDoS (distributed denial-of-service) attacks. Over the past few months, the frequency of DDoS attacks has risen to the highest it has ever been according to PUBG Corp. Thankfully, the developers have been working on a solution to the issue and have managed to reduce the frequency of the attacks by 85%. PUBG has had a long history with hackers and cheaters and they are expected to provide details on they plan to deal with these problems in their community letter and roadmap next month.
5. Trials of Osiris Confirmed
After weeks of rumors and leaks, Bungie has finally confirmed that Trials of Osiris will be coming to Destiny 2. The fan-favorite 3v3 PvP game mode from the original Destiny will arrive alongside the upcoming new season called “Season of the Worthy.” Season of the Worthy kicks off on March 10 and the first weekend-based Trials of Osiris will begin on March 13.

I recently have gotten into cuphead and I think it would be great if we added a lounge for the game. And also considering the fact that cuphead is getting much bigger and much more of a topic to talk about with the DLC coming out, the cuphead show coming out, and cuphead in super smash bro’s. Let’s make this happen!

The Daily Moot: Project A, Siege Colorblind Mode
1. Project A May Have a Name
Riot Games’ upcoming CS:GO successor known only as “Project A” may finally have a name. According to recent trademark filings and domain registrations, it appears that the upcoming first-person shooter will likely be called “Valorant.” Although the public hasn’t received many details about the game, private playtesters and current Counter-Strike professional players have all highly praised the game, calling it the best FPS since CS:GO.
2. Rainbow Six Siege Colorblind Mode
After 4 years of complaints, it seems that Ubisoft is finally adding a colorblind mode to Rainbow Six Siege. At the Rainbow Six Invitational 2020, art director Alex Karpazis said that the studio is currently “working on something” to help colorblind players. This is in contrast to a 2019 statement in which Ubisoft said they had no plans to add a colorblind mode. While Karpazis’ new statement is encouraging, it didn’t offer any concrete details so it might be awhile before we see any changes go live.
3. New Shovel Knight Spin-Off
Shovel Knight developer Yacht Club Games has announced a new Shovel Knight spin-off. The new game is called Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon but it’s not even remotely similar to the critically acclaimed game from which it takes its namesake. Yacht Club Games has mentioned that players should expect to see familiar faces in the new game, with many major bosses making an appearance. As far as gameplay is concerned, it appears the new game is somewhat similar to a match-3, but we’ll have to wait until the game debuts at PAX East this weekend in order to fully understand its mechanics.
4. Teamfight Tactics Galaxies Update
The latest update to Teamfight Tactics is on the way. Called “Galaxies,” the new update will introduce 3 new origins: Star Guardians, Cybernetics, and Mech-Pilots. Like the previous season “Rise of the Elements,” it is expected that Galaxies will offer a complete overhaul of the game, with completely new champions, abilities, and synergies. Although Riot hasn’t announced an official release date yet, it is expected that the new update will launch in mid-March alongside the release of TFT Mobile.

The Daily Moot: R6 Siege Going Free-to-Play
1. Rainbow Six Siege Going Free-to-Play
In shocking news, Rainbow Six Siege director Leroy Athanassoff announced that he is planning to make Rainbow Six Siege free to play. Although there’s no timetable for when this might happen, Athanassoff said that it is ultimately a “company decision” and that they “want the game to be accessible to everyone.” Before they take this huge leap, however, there is one major issue which needs to be addressed first: smurfing. Athanassoff stated that his team is working on various improvements for smurf detection, and that they are exploring all the different possibilities they can before taking the game free-to-play.
2. Twitch Prime March Loot
March’s month of loot for Twitch Prime subscribers has been revealed. Apex Legends fans can pick up the exclusive “Gilded Rose” skin for the newly released Revenant, which will be available until March 19. There’s also a Player Pick Pack for FIFA 20 available until March 24. Starting tomorrow, there will be a ton of Destiny 2 freebies including the Praxis Finery Sparrow, the Sails of Osiris ship, and a legendary Ghost Shell. Loot for PUBG and Black Desert Mobile are expected in the coming weeks.
3. Black Mesa Official Launch
After 14 years in development and 5 years in early access, Black Mesa is finally getting its official launch. Originally beginning as a Half-Life mod, Black Mesa is now considered a Half-Life remake which further expands on the game’s world. For example, Black Mesa includes completely original levels and allows players to fully explore the borderworld Xen. Black Mesa is set to launch on March 5.
4. Temtem Ranked Play
Ranked play is coming to Temtem! As part of their short-term roadmap, developer Crema unveiled a host of upcoming updates to the Pokemon-like game. Some of the most notable include ranked play and in-game chat which are expected this Spring. There’s also new islands, new Temtems, player housing, achievements, and in-game tournaments coming this Summer and Fall. These are some huge updates that will undoubtedly improve the game, but Crema has warned fans to take the roadmap “with a grain of salt and expect delays.”
If you're curious about Temtem, check out Rue's review of the game below!

The Daily Moot: Minecraft Movie, Xbox Series X Details
1. Minecraft Movie
A Minecraft movie is in the works thanks to Rob McElhenney of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia fame. While the project is the brainchild of McElhenney, he was unfortunately outed from the film in favor of Peter Sollett. Despite a complete script, a $150M budget, and having secured Steve Carell for the movie, personnel changes at Warner Bros. Studios led to the end of McElhenney’s vision. It’s disappointing to see McElhenney’s removal from the project, as he was clearly very passionate about the game, remarking on its ability to empower those who feel powerless. Peter Sollett’s version of the Minecraft movie is set to come out on March 4, 2022.
2. Xbox Series X New Details
Xbox head Phil Spencer just revealed a ton of new details about the Xbox Series X today in his Xbox Newswire blogpost. Most notably, the new Xbox will be fully backwards compatible and will introduce a new technology called “Smart Delivery.” Smart Delivery makes it so that if you own a game on the Xbox One, you will get the game for free on the Xbox Series X. While this may not work for all titles, games such as Cyberpunk 2077 have already committed to the program, ensuring that fans will receive a free copy of the game on the next-gen console if they have purchased it for the Xbox One.
The blogpost also noted that the Xbox Series X will have 12 teraflops of computing power thanks to a custom GPU from AMD which will support raytracing. This is comparable to the computing power of Nvidia’s GTX 2080 Ti, and definitely adds some serious competition to the upcoming console war.
3. Overwatch League Cancelled in Korea
The next 3 weeks of Overwatch League in South Korea have been cancelled amid growing concerns over the Covid-19 coronavirus. This includes Seoul Dynasty’s home event, which has now been postponed indefinitely. The gaming industry has been one of the hardest-hit sectors during this epidemic, but it’s good to see that companies are doing what they can to protect their personnel, players, and fans.
4. Baldur’s Gate 3 Coming This Year
Baldur’s Gate 3 is set to launch in early access this year. Based on the tabletop Dungeons & Dragons games, Baldur’s Gate 3 is a fantasy role-playing-game and takes place 100 years after the events of Baldur’s Gate 2. While there’s no concrete release date yet, Hasbro mentioned that they plan to put out a new D&D-based game every single year from now until 2025; fantasy RPG fans have plenty to look forward to.
5. Streets of Rage 4 Character Reveal
The final unknown character for the upcoming Streets of Rage 4 has been revealed. Floyd Iraia joins the 5-character roster and will use his cybernetic arms to wreak havoc on his opponents. Although he’ll be the slowest of all the characters, he will also have the longest reach in the game and will boast “tremendous power.” Streets of Rage 4 is set to come out in Spring of this year.
Why does Moot barely give stamps anymore?
Was there a reason why they did this that I don't know of?
The Daily Moot: LoL Clash Returns, R6 Clash Disabled
1. League of Legends Clash Returns
Clash finally returns to League of Legends! The bi-weekly competitive 5v5 tournament was briefly teased in beta last season and now it’s finally here to stay. Assemble your 5 player team and take on the competition in an 8-team bracket-style tournament. Each team will play a total of 3 games and will receive improved rewards based on how many wins are secured. If your team manages to win the tournament by going 3-0, each member will receive enhanced rewards along with exclusive cosmetics that can only be earned by winning a Clash tournament. Be sure to head over to our League of Legends lounge to find the perfect Clash teammates for your region!
2. Rainbow Six Siege Clash Disabled
For the third time in just 10 months, Rainbow Six Siege’s Clash has been disabled. Ubisoft said in their statement, “We have become aware of an exploit, and have decided to deactivate Clash. As such, Clash will not be available for play until we have resolved the issue.” It’s clear that the defender has been one of, if not the, most problematic Operators in the game. Maybe this is why Ubisoft is targeting her for a rework?
3. PUBG Cross-Party Play
As part of its 6.2 update, PUBG has finally introduced cross-party play for Xbox and PS4 players. Previously, even though matches were populated with players from both consoles, you could only party up with players on the same console. This is a great improvement for PUBG and hopefully we’ll see more games follow suit.
4. Dying Light Free to Play Weekend
For the first time ever, Dying Light is going free to play. As part of its 5th anniversary celebrations, Dying Light is doing a free-to-play weekend from now until February 23. While one weekend isn’t exactly a lot of time to explore the game, it should give you a good opportunity to try out the all-new Story Mode option which makes the days longer and nights shorter. The free weekend is just the first of many events in honor of the 5-year anniversary, so players who already own Dying Light can look forward to plenty more festivities between now and March 19.
5. Borderlands Movie
First teased back in 2015, after 5 years of silence many fans expected the Borderlands movie to be permanently shelved. Well, according to Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford, it seems like the film is back on the table. Pitchford prematurely unveiled on Twitter that Eli Roth, best known for the Hostel films, is set to direct the new movie. Eli Roth’s movies are typically very gory and violent, so we’ll have to see how his style plays a role in the cartoonish world of Borderlands. Borderlands 3’s Creative Director Paul Sage is apparently trying to get Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to play the role of Claptrap, but no word on whether or not his campaign is succeeding.

Marvel's Deadpool will also be making an appearance this season, and will have his own set of challenges as a “secret” battle pass skin. Check out the Season 2 launch trailer below!

You can get your hands on the new chests by completing Duke’s latest Bounty Voyages or by conquering the Molten Sands Fortress.
4. Mount & Blade 2 Release Date Announced
Mount & Blade 2, the sequel to the Medieval sandbox game, finally has a concrete release date. The game will hit early access on March 31, and will be available for $50. Although it does have a story, Mount & Blade 2 is focused on exploration and is designed to be open and directionless, allowing players to carve their own path and create their own adventure. The new game is considered a prequel to the original, taking place 200 years prior during the collapse of the Calradian Empire.
