[Content Status Screen]
■ The Content Status Screen will be added so that players can view all their contents in a single screen.
- The Screen is divided into Daily / Weekly / Challenge contents.

[Ranking System Revamp]
■ SR Battle Power Ranking that finds a total sum of all SR heroes in the inventory will be added.
- SR Battle Power Ranking: Calculated by Individual SR Battle Power
- Attacker Ranking: Calculated by Best Battle Power party (Same as before)
- Defender Ranking: Calculated by Defender party (Same as before)
[New Accessory Growth System]
■ Basic 6 Rank Set Accessory Item will have a different Rank on display.

[Special Rune System Revamp]
■ Special Rune Effect and Name will be changed.
- Before: Increase Damage Done to Specific Classes / Reduce Damage Taken
- After: Increase Damage Done for Specific Attribute Heroes / Reduce Damage Taken
■ ‘Attribute’ added to Special Rune equip requirement. Only the attribute-specific rune can be equipped to the exclusive equipment of the same attribute hero.
- Class Shared Exclusive Equipment can equip any Special Rune.
■ Please follow the procedures below to convert the old Special Rune into the new Special Rune.
- All Special Runes that are equipped, in inventory, or in the mail will be converted to ‘Special Rune Fragment’ and gold to be sent to the mailbox.
- ‘Special Rune Fragment’ sent to the mailbox can be used to craft ‘New Special Runes’.
[Soul Essence Acquisition Method Changed]
■ ‘Soul Essence’ can be crafted by using ‘Chaser Crystal’ as materials.

Hello Chasers!
We will be disclosing the details pertaining to the upcoming October Update in 2022.
Before we get to the nitty-gritty details, we will first disclose our goals for the October update.
Grand Chase - thanks to all the support from players - has completed the Soul Imprint series, with Dio’s Dark Emperor having been released on September 13th.
We’ve contemplated our future goals greatly, and instead of adding another growth level to existing characters, we are adding Job Change Heroes! These Heroes will be released one by one on a 3-week basis to ease the burden on growth materials.
However, taking the current game’s content and structure into consideration, there aren’t many areas where different heroes can be effective. This has caused the older heroes to be rotated out for newer ones in parties. We’d like to change that, and we hope the new Attribute System will allow players more customization and variation in their party compositions.
Through the attribute system, heroes will have advantages and disadvantages against other combatants. This ensures that variation will be necessary throughout the varying content available in-game, allowing every hero their time in the spotlight.
To prepare, another “Grand Express” Event will be activated to allow Chasers to raise SR heroes to Soul Imprint Rank 10 to ease the burden on growth materials necessary.
This is a rather sizeable update, so we will be covering the totality of the October Update in three parts, with links to the other two announcements at the end of this one.
Other content included in the October 11 (Tue) Update will be announced separately on October 7 (Fri), we hope everyone looks forward to it. Without further ado, let’s take a look at the October Update details below!~
[Update Info]
1. Job Change Hero System
[Job Change Hero Acquisition]
■ Players can check Job Change Heroes by going to [Main Lobby > ‘Job Change Hero’] Menu.
■ Once the requirement ‘Basic Hero Chaser Rank 20’ is met, Job Change Missions will be unlocked.
■ Complete ‘Job Change Missions’ and use 250 Soul Imprint Cubes to unlock a Hero’s new Job.
[Job Change Manual]
- When a ‘Job Change Manual’ is used, a Job Change Hero can be unlocked without completing ‘Job Change Missions’ or consuming ‘250 Soul Imprint Cubes’
- ‘Job Change Manual’ can be purchased by going to [Item] – [Hero Growth Shop] – [Job Change Shop].
■ When a Job Change Hero is unlocked, players will obtain the new Job Change Hero at +6 Transcendence, Chaser Rank 20, and Lv.100. This will also unlock their Job Changed Pet at Lv.1, and their corresponding Pet Profile Icon.
[Job Change Hero Growth]
■ Job Change Hero maxes out at Lv.180, Chaser Rank 25, Soul Imprint Rank 25, and +15 Transcendence similar to Basic Heroes.
- Job Change Heroes do not have a Limit Break.
[Growth Materials]
■ Job Change Heroes can use 6 Star Basic Heroes as growth material.
■ Job Change Hero Exclusive Cubes (Chaser Cube / Soul Imprint Cube) will be added.
■ Shared Chaser Cube, Shared Soul Imprint Cube can be used, but Basic Hero Exclusive Cube (Chaser Cube, Soul Imprint Cube) cannot be used.
[Soul Link System]
■ Soul Link unlocks when a Job Change Hero is obtained.
- Soul Link System: When Soul Link Missions are completed, Basic Hero and Job Change Hero have their stats increased.
- Soul Link Missions are broken into stages. The current stage must be completed before advancing to the next stage
[Further Information]
■ Job Change Heroes can be in a party with Basic Heroes.
■ Job Change Heroes have new profiles and new background stories.
■ Job Change Heroes benefit from the same Connection boosts as the Basic Heroes.
■ When the Likability of Basic Hero rises in level, Job Change Heroes will gain stats as well.
■ Job Change Heroes can neither go through Reset nor can be sold.
■ Job Change Heroes cannot be obtained through Any Hero Summons, Fusion, or Diamond Treasure Chest
(SR Select Ticket/Summon Ticket, Premium Hero Summon, Royal Hero Summon, Character Fusion, or Diamond Treasure Chest)
■ No Titanic Growth Dungeons will be added for Job Change Heroes.
2. The Attribute System
■ Each Hero will have exclusive Soul Wavelengths and will receive the Attribute effects of their Wave.
- There are a total of 5 Soul Waves: the ‘Wavelength of Retribution’, ‘Wavelength of Life’, ‘Wavelength of Balance’, ‘Wavelength of Cycle’, and ‘Wavelength of Ruin’.
■ These five Attributes are broken up into 2 groups, and will form advantageous or disadvantageous relationships only in their groups.
■ Group A: Retribution, Life, and Balance
- Relationship: The Retribution Attribute has an advantage over the Life Attribute, Life Attribute has an advantage over Balance Attribute, and Balance Attribute has an advantage over Retribution Attribute. Contrasting this, the Retribution Attribute will have a disadvantage against the Balance Attribute.
- Advantage: Deal 30% Increased Damage (If Heroes of the same Attribute are in the party, increase damage dealt by 10% per hero, up to 30%)
- Disadvantage: Deal 30% Reduced Damage
■ Group B: Ruin and Cycle
- Relationship: Ruin and Cycle are only in an advantageous relationship with each other.
- Advantage: Deal 30% Increased Damage (If heroes of the same Attribute are in the party, increase damage dealt by 10% per hero, up to 30%) and receive 30% increased healing and shielding in PVP.
■ An Attribute Marker will be added to Hero Management UI, Content UI, Battle UI, and more.
- When the same Attribute heroes are deployed, the bonus received will be displayed.

3. Alleviate Hero Growth Materials Needed
■ In order to alleviate the difficulty of Hero Growth, ‘Soul Imprint Cube Summon’ will be added.
- Soul Imprint Cube Summon can be found by going to [Summon Shop > Soul Imprint Cube Summon]
- When the summon is done, players will obtain the random Soul Imprint Cube of the 8 heroes in the Summon List.
- 1 hero can be selected and the other 7 will be randomly selected.
The 7 random selections of heroes will be reset every week. Certain heroes (Callisto, Cindy, Ragnar, Myst, Lime(T), Amy(T), Mari(T), Ronan(T)) will not be included in the summon list.
- The quantity of the Soul Imprint Cube will be either 5, 25, or 250.
- If the summoned Soul Imprint Cube is for a hero that has completed the Soul Imprint Growth, it will be converted into 'Imprint Fragment'.
When 2,000 ‘Imprint Fragment’ is collected, players will obtain 1 SR 5 Star Summon Ticket.
- In order to summon Soul Imprint Cube, players will need the new material ‘Yellow Gem’ x10.
- 40 'Yellow Gem' can be obtained daily.
Players will obtain 10 ‘Yellow Gem’ upon Login
Players will obtain up to 10 ‘Yellow Gem’ daily through PVP wins
Players will obtain up to 20 ‘Yellow Gem’ daily through clearing Adventure Dungeons (including Titanic Growth Dungeons)
- The quantity of ‘Yellow Gem’ will max out at 280. Players will not be able to obtain more Yellow Gem once they reach that capacity.
■ The Gold daily reward from PVP wins will be changed to ‘Yellow Gem’.
- Players will receive 2 ‘Yellow Gem’ for PVP wins. Please note that players will not receive anything for losses.
- Since the Gold reward has been removed from PVP, ‘Thursday’ Daily Buff effect will be changed.
Current: PVP Gold/Honor Reward x1.5
Changed: PVP Honor Reward x1.5
- In order to make up for the gold reward removed from PVP, players will receive more gold from collecting the bounty from Wanted.

4. Content Improvement and Expansion
[Adventure Dungeons]
■ Players can now check the attribute of monsters that appear in each dungeon.
■ For the boss stages, players can check both the attribute and the class of the boss.
■ Players will receive more Chaser Crystals from dungeons.
- World 2 - World 5: 3
- World 6 - World 10: 4
- World 11 - World 12: 5
[Titanic Growth Dungeon]
■ Players can check the attribute of bosses and normal monsters upon entry.
[Guild Boss]
■ The attribute will be assigned per Guild Boss.
■ Guild Boss Ranks will be adjusted.
(Before) Max 32 Ranks
(After) Max 8 Ranks
- Rank Unlock Requirement: If the Damage Mission for the current rank is completed, the next rank will be unlocked.
- All guilds will start from Rank 1 after the maintenance on October 11th.
■ Guild Boss cannot be defeated and will be active for eight hours following being summoned.
- Guild boss will automatically perish eight hours after being summoned
■ Guild Boss Participation Mission and Damage Mission will be added, and rewards will be adjusted with the change.
- All mission rewards will be calculated and become available after the summon ends.
[Participation Mission]
- Participation Mission Rewards are not affected by Rank and will increase depending on how many guild members have participated.
- Participation Mission Rewards will be given out to the participating members after the 8 hours of Guild Boss summon by mail.
[Damage Mission]
- All guild members will receive the reward based on the total damage done (Gold and Guild Points) to the summoned Guild Boss.
- Damage Mission Rewards will increase as the rank increases. Guild members will receive the reward regardless of participation.
■ Guild Boss content entry will be restricted from October 10, 2022 (Mon) 00:00 – October 11, 2022 (Tue) Before Maintenance (Server Time).
[Daily Content]
[Dimensional Boss]
■ Following the update, each Dimensional Boss will have an attribute assigned to them.
■ Instead of guild cooperative content, it will become solo content.
- Players will now only be able to defeat the Dimensional Bosses they summon.
■ The entry method will be changed.
- Players can only enter using a ‘Dimensional Boss Entry Ticket’.
- Players will have three Entry Tickets that recharge daily at reset time.

■ Each dungeon will have an attribute assigned and has been revamped to provide rewards when a set number of monsters are defeated within the time limit of 3 minutes.
- There are 11 Ranks total, and each Rank has 3 dungeons of different attributes.
- Monsters will appear endlessly for 3 minutes and become stronger over time. Even after the target number of kills has been reached, the player will not be able to clear if they quit in the middle of a battle or exit the game abnormally.
■ Players can edit their party before entering Dimensional Chasm and can only enter after deploying their party.
- Duplicate Heroes and Pet can be deployed.
■ Reward acquisition method will be changed.
- Players will be able to obtain ‘Normal Reward (Support Weapon Crafting Materials)’ that can be obtained 3 times a week.
If players reset using Gems, they will be able to obtain the ‘Normal Reward’ 3 additional times.
There are no restrictions on the number of resets, but the cost of gems will increase with each reset.
The reset cost of Dimensional Chasms will reset daily.
- The sum of all monsters defeated across the dungeons will contribute to the ‘Bonus Reward (Support Weapon Crafting Materials, Support Weapon Random Box)’
Bonus Reward can only be obtained 1 time per week per Rank. (Cannot be reset with gems)
■ There will be an 80% damage increase bonus buff to all dungeons every week.
- ‘Physical Damage 80% Increase’ or ‘Magic Damage 80% Increase’ will take turns getting applied every week.
- All heroes in the dungeon will receive the bonus effect.

World 12 is just around the corner!
In World 11, the Spirit World, the Grand Chase was able to fend off Heitaros’ dark schemes. However, Heitaros has sealed himself in the demon world. It’s time to settle the score between him once and for all!
What awaits our intrepid heroes in World 12, Demon World – Terre? Wait… Like, Veigas’ last name? Are we in their domain? Shall we find out what’s going on?
Don’t forget, World 11 – Spirit World difficulties will merge into one difficulty when the World 12 update arrives. If you want to receive the World 11 Challenge rewards, you need to clear all of the World 11 adventure dungeons on Challenge difficulty before the World 12 update arrives. You will not be eligible for the changed clear rewards after the update if you cleared World 11 only on Normal difficulty.

[NOTICE] Facebook Login Issue Compensation
Hello Chasers,
We would like to inform players about the compensation for the inconvenience caused by the login issue where players could not login using Facebook account to GrandChase during 4/28~5/4.
We have found out that this issue was caused by Facebook accidentally deleting the GrandChase application on their end. The login issue has been resolved on 5/4 when the application was recovered.
As a token of apology and gratitude for your patience, we have prepared some compensation as listed below.

- Players who only had Facebook connected to their account and were unable to login during this period
