FPS and low latency mode
I've heard some rather interesting news regarding the response from DICE after beta feedback. DICE is considering a "fps and low latency" option across all platforms. This immediately caught my attention for how seemingly mundane it might sound. For any multiplayer fps, the first thing I adjust is the graphical settings. I want to make sure I'm getting high and no dropped frames. Battlefield V will use the new ray tracing feature, but this is a filler feature for a competitive game. Overall much of the responses from DICE after hearing our feedback sounds great. The fps and low latency mode is on the top of my list and should be for everyone else. DICE can pull through and give us the banger of the year.
Wacky Soldier Customisations are Being Scaled Back
I guess that I might be in the minority here, but I really wanted some wacky cosmetic customisations. Yeah yeah, I know this is supposed to be somewhat of an accurate game. But why not have some silly cosmetics for PVP mode? What if I want a pink soldier like how I wanted a pink Darth Vader in Battlefront 2? I guess it's up to the modders to make my wacky needs a reality.
Manual and auto leaning
Auto leaning was a feature in the game that I turned off due to weird problems when I tried peeking edges. I searched for a manual leaning option in the keybind settings and couldn't find any. Turns out there was no option for that and the good news is DICE is considering manual leaning to be added. I'm all for this as it creates another layer of tactical movement. Are you for or against manual leaning options?
Battlefield have some work to do
Battlefield V open beta ended today and the ramblings I'm reading about it are mixed. Each side is saying why the game is doing fine or not living up to expectations. I downloaded the beta and tried a little bit of it too. I can see what everyone is pointing out in their critiques and can agree, if the game was released now, would leave room for angry reviews.
There's a reason DICE decided to delay the initial launch date a month. To my understanding this will not be enough for them to fix all of the problems. It's a start and I'm not a hardcore Battlefield fan, mainly waiting on their BR mode Firestorm. A tidbit that strikes to be interesting to me is the problems for the main battlefield game is a non factor for BR mode. They have that going for them at least. Criterion is handling all that is Firestorm, I want to know more about that as vehicles should be fantastic.
EA is giving out BF1 and BF4 'PREMIUM PASS' for FREE!
You can claim the two Premium pass even if you don't have the base game.
On video's description box I have provided links to Origin, PS and Xbox stores to claim them. If not you can search them on your console.
For Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4. Premium Pass gives you many more maps, vehicles, weapons and so much more. IMO It's a real value for BF4. It has good DLCs.
Battlefield 5's Chat "Censorship" is a Non-Issue
Here we are lol, I never thought that I'd come to see the day that I would defend something related to EA. Recently, those who are currently beta testing Battlefield 5 are experiencing some censorship when they are typing in chat. Some of the words being censored are "white man, DLC, and Jew." And if I'm not wrong, the word Nazi is also being censored (I remember reading this somewhere). With those things said, this isn't intentional because the game's profanity filter is broken and is not yet fully functional. EA Dice has stated that these issues will be ironed out. I finally said something nice about EA lol (this doesn't feel right lol).
BF 109: the ultimate BFV plane + My impressions
I have dotted down some words regarding my summary of the current state of the Battlefield V BETA Planes down below. I have also included this small commentary video that I gathered from last night's stream. Flying in probably the best plane in BFV right now... the German's Messerschmitt Bf 109.
So here it is... I’m stoked that we will be flying our fantasy planes like the Spitfire, BF-109, Stuka and more. But let’s face it, currently right now for this Beta the bf-109 is completely superior to the spitfire in gun placement, HP damage output, maneuvering and energy fighting.) makes dogfighting almost unbearable. Dice I ask of you to go back to the symmetric style of planes that we know and love, we appreciate the work that goes into these things but asymmetric gameplay for planes is not what we need.
• Physics for planes: Planes lose energy and speed very quick in maneuvers and turns. If we have to I would prefer the old bf3 style of flying, but the current state is literally unacceptable.
• The lack of visibility in air-to-ground: this isn’t a complaint but an interesting variable that nerfs planes but allows skill to enter spotting infantry on the ground, this can allow more powerful weapons on planes without the fear of farming kills due to lack of visibility and allows pilots to rely on infantry for Air support callouts.
• I can crash my plane into the ground and explode but if I was in the animation of getting out of the plane as it explodes I survive? This has to be a bug.
• Attention to detail I’m the planes is awesome but for the sake of gameplay I would appreciate it if the pilot had more degrees of freelook. I’m not even going to get on why the rear gunner can still shoot through his own body of the plane while other ground vehicles can’t. Same reason on why third person aiming reticle is still there… and no it’s not static.
It's sad because the WW2 air combat was the golden era of dogfighting. It's the age of Spitfires, Mustangs and Stukas... holy shit man! I can care less about bombarding and strafing non-spotted infantry really, that's a secondary bonus. What is very upsetting is at how atrocious the air vs air gameplay is right now. It needs so much attention. BF1's Beta air vs air state was awesome and that's telling much considering how it wasn't my favorite of the series. ...And yet this BFV Beta...eeesh, just release this game by March of 2019.
An opinion on BFV
After testing the Beta for BFV, I had a pretty good idea wether or not I was gonna like this new entry of the franchise.
Let me start by saying that I have been a huge fan of Battlefield back in BF3, BC2, and BF4. I loved the big firefights that you could get into, the action on a huge scale and the feeling to be on an actual battlefield.
But BFV was, surpinsingly, a disapointment.
I know that when you play your first games in conquest, you don't really shine right away. You gotta get into it first. But like BF1, I wasn't really enjoying myself while playing.
The new death mechanic is just horrible, you can't get right back into the action, and that's not a good thing imo.
The ammo capacity is indeed small, just like they announced it, but I doesn't really add to the immersion. It's more annoying than anything else to be honest.
Overall, it's a general feeling of disapointment. I'm not finding that vibe that made me love the other BFs, and I'm the first surprised !
Does Battlefield 5's Controversy Surrounding Historical Accuracy Matter to You?
I was just curious about what y'all think about Battlefield 5 being considered to be historically inaccurate. Does it matter that Battlefield 5 might be making some creative adjustments to history? So for anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking is that some people are upset over the inclusion of women in Battlefield 5.
I'm of two minds about this, on one hand I want my games to be accurate, but I also want them to be fun/interesting. Going back to the controversy, I don't really care that women are included. Women were part of WW1 & WW2 and their roles depended on which country they were fighting for.
Going back to why Battlefield 5's inclusion of female soldiers is because there are examples of female snipers, resistance fighters, fighter pilots, and so forth. As I was saying earlier, depending on the country the woman was serving under she would be on the front lines. The USSR ended up employing approximately 800,000 women in WW2. Women ended up becoming pilots, snipers, medics, machine gunners, tank operators, political officers, and even spies.
So including women in this game is not a stretch at all. It would be cool to see stories about real life women who fought in these conflicts.

4. Selling or Trading accounts
Please be weary of scams and the game's terms of service. Do not give out personal information or passwords, you have been warned.
That's it! Happy Mooting!
BFV takes a new perspective of war and makes an extreme difference in infantry combat, guns do more damage and AA can actually do what it’s meant for now. The circling strategy that was used in dogfights (just turning constantly so that you can’t be spot or you stay on the chase with someone) has been fixed by cutting your engine until the other player passes you. Tanks are also much more easily destroyable (taking 2 max ammo assault classes). I believe that this change is good for battlefield and everyone who says it’s horrible is probably just bad at video games.
What are these analysts talking about?
News feed for Battlefield V have been getting predictions that this will be the worst battlefield. That's some misleading info if I do say so myself. Finally played a few hours of the open beta and it plays well for me. Too well... like addicting well. I know it varies from person to person but for an odd reason I can't explain. Getting kills in this game gives me a bit of an adrenaline rush. Last time I had that happen for a battlefield game was BF3 and bad company 2.
Many of the things critics are complaining about is accuracy to the time period. I know this game will do well cause the complaints I'm seeing are about female soldiers and unrealistic outfits. All the other stuff like the actual gameplay itself is good news for the most part. Open for debate, you tell me if you don't like what you have played already. Sucks that battlefield v is delayed, I can accept the reason either way. If the team needs more time to fix and improve the gameplay based on feedback then more power to them. Playing the open beta had no big problems so that is a good sign. This is battlefield's biggest project, firestorm makes it so and keeping everything else about the game is even better.
Enough chit chat, getting back online to play some more.
BFV is the best BF
This game is the right step for the Battlefield franchise. I don’t care about your opinion on the whole political thing, this game has the best gunplay I have ever used. The teamwork required to keep your squad going is imperative to success. Resource and health management is also something I’m a huge fan of. The graphics look great. My experience so far with this game is overwhelmingly positive and anyone who hates on this game for this political debacle is missing out. I just thought I’d give my opinion on the game. Feel free to share your thoughts on the game after playing the beta, are they negative or positive?
Battlefield V going the right direction
I'm caught up with all the news about Battlefield V. Royale is now officially named Firestorm, perfect name I have to say. Even if I wished there was more information about their battle royale mode this has got to be the most hype I've been for any Battlefield game. The best part about it is the 64 max player count. I couldn't be happier about this since I talked about this being an a peeve that I have about battle royale games having too many players per server. Link to that post on the bottom. I'm glad DICE wasn't pressured enough to have that 100 players per server nonsense just because everyone else is doing it. This will certainly keep each game running at their best.
Bad part about the 64 player announcement is that it will be squads mode only. This should have to do with the way battlefield works. DICE is trying their best to work that team play style as the main headline. I'm sure there are still some questions to be answered like whether we will see a solo or duo mode. Should be the case and the month push back for the release date gives me reason enough that they need more time to work everything in. Single player, classic multiplayer, music by Hans Zimmer, and battle royale it has all the fixings. I can't wait to get my hands on the game, 3 months sounds like a long time unfortunately.
I've notice a lot of hate and disgust against BFV recently and don't really understand why. I know the reveal trailer wasn't any thing near good... But still the gameplay looks awesome and I really look forward playing the Beta and the final game!
