2.5 No National DeX, poor graphics in wild area, poor choices for pokémon put in game from other regions, poorly detailed story all around. The game is playable, but had so much more potential.
4.5 This is one of my favorite Pokémon regions because of the story and some of the new additions. I am sad that we didn’t get to see all the mons from older generations but I still thoroughly enjoyed the game. I have sunk multiple hours into the game and there is this really cool feeling of taking on a raid battle with your friends. My best friend and I spent hours one night just grinding raid battles. I know there are complaints but honestly I look past those and see an amazing game.
4.0 I miss not having the national DeX, but I've enjoyed this game the most & I've been playing since Red & Blue! the berries refresh daily, we can interact with our pokemon more than ever, the curry making is fun, & the wild area is an amazing idea! The gym challenge is both familiar yet new, & I think they made it interesting with the Dynamaxing. I do also miss seeing any sort of flying animation & not being able to ride our pokemon like in Pokemon Let's Go, but its neat we can ride our bike on the water.
4.5 I really like this game takes me back to my roots playing Pokemon real little has some flaws a couple things I don't like about the game such as the graphics and just how rushed it was in general but everything else I love definitely one of the most balanced Pokemon games and shiny hunting is very fun while in the wild area seeing how alive it feels with every Pokemon having their own walking animations I hope Nat dex comes back but doesn't ruin the game at all for me I highly recommend this game for any person of age especially if you've played Pokemon as a child
