Porygon day results
Didn't see too many and it didn't help that I had no signal for 1/2 of the duration. Got 0 to 2 stars. The level 23 regular is a decent 3 star surprisingly.

5 Pokemon Types That Should Have Been Created
I’ve talked about my favorite Pokemon type before, but I’ve never covered what types the Pokemon fan-base deserves! Here are my five types that should have been created.
Shapeshifting Pokemon would be a blast to play! Ditto is a great example. Although its type is officially Normal, Shapeshifter seems like it would work too. Zorua is another example, but it labeled as a Dark Pokemon. There isn’t an official Shapeshifter tribe, but could you imagine the awesome were-species that could be created if this were a type?
Humans are always inventing and creating. What if man created an artificial type of Pokemon? Fully customizable, top of the line with special abilities and requested characteristics. This type of Pokemon could potentially be the strongest type of them all if it existed!
Muk and Gulpin would fit in perfectly under this category. The category could include Slugma as well. There are many substances that could be characteristics of new Ooze type Pokemon! I imagine some could be made up of mud, magma, or other natural substances!
After the introduction of Dark type Pokemon, many assumed it was a safe bet that Light type Pokemon would follow. However, this has not yet happened. It would be an excellent addition! Not only would it counter Dark type, but could work well against Ghost and Psychic types, as well.
You’ve heard of Fossil type, but what if there was something even more ancient? A Pokemon type that roamed the Earth before the rest. This type would be some of the largest and most fierce Pokemon in the Pokeverse. Pre-historic Pokemon would be one of the rarest types to exist and more cryptic than Legendaries.
Have you imagined what different types of Pokemon you would like to see? Agree with any of the types above? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

The Best Pokemon to Use in Pokemon Go
Pokemon Go can, at times, be a difficult game to navigate. Determining which Pokemon are the best to fill your team with is always a difficult choice, especially with so many entering the game regularly. For new players, a lot of this info, or lack thereof, can make it difficult for newcomers to actually engage with the game to its fullest. Here, I hope to present players with evergreen Pokemon that, regardless of the future of the game, should offer some pretty consistent advice and good early Pokemon to have on your team.
Now, I know this likely won’t be a surprise to many, but all of the Pokemon that I’ve pulled together to recommend here are from the original 151. While this may come off as pandering, I think there are some very real factors that have contributed to this. Sure, Niantic likely recognizes the iconic star power of the earliest generation and leaned into that, but it also helps that these were the first Pokemon introduced to the game before a lot of balancing considerations were being made. The sooner Pokemon is entered into the game, the more likely they’ll present a power ceiling. Now, other Pokemon are good to add to your line-up, but when it comes to early game selections, there’s nothing quite like the classics.
And you can’t get much more classic than the original starters. While Charmander has some good stats, we’re talking more so about Bulbasaur and Squirtle. Both are also incredibly easy to get, as they are offered up as starters at the very beginning of the game. They each have consistent and high-ranking CPs and have some good resistances for those early game fights. In addition, each of them has Mega Evolutions they can tap into. Newly implemented, this form can be a huge boon to have access to, especially if you take the time to gather the Energy required for it. While I would give a slight edge to Bulbasaur, both are fantastic options for the start of your adventure and well into your later gaming career.
Similarly, Pikachu and Eevee have been given a lot of love from the developers. Being the mascots of the series, it makes sense that a little extra has been given to these Pokemon. They have pretty solid stats for early fights, but what makes Eevee stand out from the 2 is this Pokemon’s flexibility. Eevee can basically become anything you want when it’s time to evolve, meaning you can fill any gap you have with a Pokemon that will have great stats. You’ll want to evolve whichever one of these who end up taking into your team sooner rather than later, so be sure to keep that in mind, but these cute monsters can become powerhouses if you give them the chance.
Lastly, Vulpix is a surprisingly strong selection for your team. With great attack values and the fire type, Vulpix can burn through the early competition, and once they become Ninetails, woo-boy, can you do some damage! There’s also the ice variant with just as good stats, but I tend to shy away from ice-types more often than not. Regardless, Vulpix is a particularly great choice if you’re looking for a Pokemon to hold your own early on.
What do you think? Are these great Pokemon to have on hand early in the game, or do you think there are others that’ll do the job better? Let me know your thoughts down below!

Catching a Shiny Cresselia in Pokemon Go
As is with Pokemon Go, events come and go, and the previous five-star Raid Poekmon, Heatran, has cycled out. But in its place comes the exciting opportunity to find yourself a Cresselia, the moon goddess Pokemon. While I’ve been playing Pokemon Go for a while, I’ve never had the opportunity to catch one of these, so I’ve taken the time to put together some tips and tricks to ensure I have the best chance of hunting one down. Join me, and together we can be one rare Pokemon richer for our efforts.
First, we have to consider what Pokemon are going to have the best chance to combat the rather powerful entity. Most of our best options will either be Mega Pokemon or Dark type Pokemon. Mega Beedrill and Mega Charizard stand out in particular from the Mega-pack, but surprisingly, Shadow Pokemon could be the answer. Shadow Houndoom and Shadow Tyranitar come to mind, with attacks like Bite and Snarl being particularly strong tools against this foe.
You’ll obviously want to make sure your Pokemon you decide to use are leveled appropriately; this is a five-star Raid after all. Additionally, bringing at least one, if not multiple, other trainers along for this fight would be prudent. You *could* do this one on your own, but you’ll be struggling all the way through.
Once you’ve put together a few players with the right Pokemon, you shouldn’t have too much issue catching one of these. Make sure that you get Cresselia down enough health, as her catch circle will become a lot easier to hit once you’ve lowered her health bar enough.
Now, while we could leave it at that, there are 2 special iterations of Cresselia you should be altered to that may be worth taking the time to hunt down. The first of these is, of course, the shiny iteration. Shiny Cresselia will show up roughly 1 in every 20 Raids. While it may take some time and resources to find one, you and your team should be able to track one of these eventually.
The other, however, is a 1633 CP iteration of Cresselia. With these stats, this breed of the Pokemon will have 100% IV, which is insane and well worth your time. What’s more, their CP can be boosted to as high as 2041 depending on the weather effects being used at the time. If you’re intending on really caring for and leveling your Cresselia, there’s no reason not to take the extra time to find one of these for your collection.
What do you think, is Cresselia a great pick for the five-star Raid, or would you rather be searching for another Pokemon? Let me know down in the comments!
Such beauty. Long Masuda Hunt
So beautiful. Finally got one after 4,958 eggs! This hunt took a total of a month to do. Almost gave up multiple times. My shiny luck has been awful recently.
Daily Pokémon Facts (Day 1)
Let’s GO- I mean, start with the star, (or the mouse, the actual star Pokémon is staryu) of the whole franchise, pikachu.
According to the series producer, Satoshi Tajiri,
“The name is derived from a combination of two Japanese sounds: pika, a sound an electric spark makes, and chu, a sound a mouse makes. Despite its name's origins, however, Nishida based Pikachu's generation 1 design, especially its cheeks, on squirrels.”
Here is what I'll offer for an eevee with last resort
