If you mean candies in Pokémon GO; you get 3 candies each time you catch a Pokémon. For example, catch 2 Charizard and you'll get 6 Charmander candy. If you want double the candies, use a 'Pinap Berry' first. You can get them from opening gifts from friends and rarely from spinning PokéStops or Gyms.
