At 10:00-11:00 UTC, updates to the Item Manager interface will go live! This will streamline the experience and make claiming PLA a smoother process!
 
You’ll see the that the main area of ITEM Manager displays an “Activity & Reward” section, here is where you will see the five most recent actions taken, e.g. earning PLA or making an NFT. You can directly claim PLA from here.

PlayDapp, a blockchain game project that drew attention after being listed on Coinbase, the largest virtual asset exchange in the U.S., is speeding up its attack on the global blockchain game market through the RPG Along with the Gods: Knights of the Dawn’s (Along with the Gods) Play to earn Model.
 
P2E games, which let players money while playing, are a new concept of game. This allows game users to earn profits through gameplay using blockchain technology.
Blockchain game service platform ‘PlayDapp’ announced on the 20th of October that the opening date of the P2E server for the RPG ‘Along with the Gods’ will be October 27th and start the NFT pre-staking service immediately (excluding Korea and China). NFT staking refers to a service in the form of depositing NFTs for a certain period of time and receiving interest and rewards as rewards.
 
PlayDapp’s NFT staking is an essential process to participating in P2E games and was introduced to transparently distribute profits to users while preventing service-related interviewing issues and allowing participants to claim proper compensation.
Users who have completed NFT pre-staking can immediately participate in the P2E-only server, which will open on the 27th, and receive daily and weekly compensation for participation.
 
Users who have staked 3 SR grade PlayDapp Town PLAYZ NTF will receive 5 PLA as a daily reward when completing daily missions. Users who have additionally staked +1 SSR level NFT can receive up to 5000 PLA (PLA) as a weekly ranking reward for participating in PVP (tournament).
 
The PlayDapp Town PLAYZ NTF required for staking can be obtained through synthesis or purchased on the Polygon version of the PlayDapp’s C2C marketplace PlayDapp.com.

These are PlayDapp's interoperable NFTs, whose pre-sale was previously featured on DappRadar. PLAYZ NFT come in three grades of rarity, R, SR & SSR.
 
PlayDapp's focus is on gaming, and Along with the God's move into deeper Play to Earn mechanics reflects this. Players can stake and complete simple daily missions to earn PLA or take on other players in PVP in Major Arena and win larger shares of PLA.

You may have heard about NFTs during the recent NFT boom, but what exactly are NFTs? NFT stands for non-fungible token. An NFT is a unique digital asset on the blockchain that represents an object like art, music, in-game items, tickets, and videos, and they are generally encoded with the same underlying software as many cryptocurrencies. An NFT allows the buyer to own the original item. Not only that, it contains built-in authentication, which serves as proof of ownership. Gaming is a natural fit for the usage of NFTs.

Some great news for Along with the Gods players. Plus blockchain details!

Recently we posted an End of Service notice for Along with the Gods. This was a hard decision to take, and one that would affect the dedicated players, and possibly open up some questions.
 
However, we have some incredibly important news. Thanks to a newly sourced operational agreement, the cost of maintaining the Along with the Gods service has been significantly reduced. Using Naver Cloud, we're in a much better position to continue the legacy of Along with the Gods! Not just in its current form but into the blockchain future it deserves!
Long story short, Along with the Gods: Knights of the Dawn, hasn't lost the fight for the light yet!
 
We heard you and the passion you shared for Along with the Gods. So it was an obvious decision to take this opportunity with Naver Cloud and apply it to Along with the Gods!
 
[ Why did you announce the end of the service if you were able to bring it back? ]
 
When we took the decision to close the service, the ability to reduce operational costs was not there. The ability to work with Naver Cloud was an opportunity that came about during some additional work for other PlayDapp projects. Of course, we would have loved to have not had to issue the Termination of Service for Along with the Gods. We understand that doing so, caused stress and bad feelings. We're committed to making sure that players of all our games are treated in the best way, with the best experiences.
 
We want to be as open as possible with you. So with that in mind, let's dive into more details about the future of Along with the Gods.

The Future of Along with the Gods.
Now the service is not terminating what happens to my account?
Accounts that were active before the Termination of Service notice will be restored back to that state.
 
[ I deleted/closed my account - what about me? ]
 
If you closed or deleted your account, you'll still be able to come back to a restored account. As it was before the Termination of Service notice. You'll have to get in touch with a member of the team, via help@playdapp.io or reach out in our communities (links at end of the story).
 
Please note that if you deleted all characters and items in the game, rather than just account deletion. These are no longer in the database, and can't be recovered.
What about the plans for refunds?
 
We've completed the refunds for purchases in the last 30 days. As the service will come back, the partial refunds will not continue.
 
[ You kept talking about blockchain - what's the status of that / why has it taken so long? ]
 
We've been working on the blockchain version of Along with the Gods. Our internal focus has been working on creating the best NFT experience for AWTG. There are many aspects that could see NFT application, from runes to characters and in between.
Creating a balance of the best experience for players in terms of gameplay and in terms of value for the items they are creating has been a significant milestone. In-game items that generate quickly and in large numbers are not overly attractive as NFT, this is because it can flood the market, creating low value for players, as well as lower reasons to commit to trading.
 
Coupled with this has been a steady increase in the cost of maintaining an Ethereum based game. Gas, a central part of the Ethereum network has remained unstable at its cost, with dramatic shifts in price. Creating a system that allowed for stable charges to players has proven to be incredibly hard.
 
While we could place all charges on the user, it's a high burden for you as players. With ethereum 2.0 being slower to materialize than we had hoped releasing an ethereum based game is currently not in the best interest of PlayDapp and most importantly players.
With this, we've taken the choice to focus on an alternative mainnet, prioritizing speed, cost-effectiveness and reliability for players. There are some promising mainnets out there, with interesting solutions and we look forward to revealing more in the near future.
 
[ So when can I play? ]
 
Our development schedule is aimed at players getting their hands on the blockchain version in the second half of the year. We're super excited to share this.
 
Even more so, we're able to give plans on an intended Focus Group Test (FGT). We'll be running our FGT, in a test environment, in that later part of the year.
 
This FGT will be your chance to help shape Along with the Gods into a truly fan-based and player-centric game.
 
[ What happens to my account on the non-blockchain version? ]
 
If you've been playing AWTG, and continue to play on it when the blockchain version launches, your progress will continue.

Maintenance window between 06:50 UTC and 08:00 UTC - 23/02/21

Along with the Gods players. As part of our work to keep the game active, we’ll be working on a patch that will move the game to a different server. This will be taking place between 06:50 UTC and 08:00 UTC today.
 
When the game comes back, you’ll also note that there have been adjustments to the shop packs. You’ll now see that the majority of the products that could be bought with real cash are now purchasable with gems.
 
In some cases where gems were part of the pack, these gems have been removed from the pack.
 
This has resulted in a few cases where the image and details text is not currently true. These descriptions will be edited as we move forward.

Along with the Gods service update.

We’ve been hearing you and the passion you’ve shown on our recent Termination of service for Along with the Gods.
 
We wanted to give a quick update, and offer some more detail. As well as inform you of a new development.
 
[Why Along With the Gods service was terminated.]
We took the hard choice to terminate service due to operational cost. Both in the short term and long term.
However, we are exploring and considering a way to maintain our service as normal. Currently, we are not able to commit 100%.
 
[Blockchain version not materializing]
The blockchain version of Along with the Gods was based on Ethereum. Which currently is experiencing high gas fees, which would create a severely limited product for players. Finding solutions for this is part of what we are working on across the games we operate. A release in this form would not be feasible.
 
We hope to have another community post next week.

An important message about the PlayDapp serviced version of Along with the Gods: Knights of the Dawn
 
 
Knights, this is an announcement from the Admin team of Along with the Gods: Knights of the Dawn.
 
It is with a heavy heart that we inform you the service of Along with the Gods: Knights of the Dawn will cease on March 12th, 2021.
 
The entire team working on Along with the Gods would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the entire player base. Terminating the service was not an easy decision and one we did not make lightly.
 
The ability to make purchases with real-world currency will be blocked from now until service termination, however, items that can be bought with in-game Gems will still be available.

- Applies to purchases made within 30 days before service termination notice (01/10/2021 — 02/10/2021)
 
■ Partial Refunds for Earlier Purchased items
-Partial refunds for unused goods purchased before the 30 day refund period will be determined after review.
※ Goods attained free of charge (via events, etc.) and products using them are excluded i.e only paid goods. (excluding bonus Gems and event Gems when paying).
※ Packs are only available for processing if all components are fully retained
※ Schedule for partial refunds will be between February 10th, 2021 and March 12th, 2021 (02/10/2021- 03/12/2021)

There is an error in the patch content regarding the update carried out today (September 3, 2020), and the cause is currently being checked.

There’s more, we’ve also rotated roster of Heroes available from the Special Hero Scroll!
 
 
All of these changes will take effect when you next start the game.
