Can't get passed floor 2-1

Q&A

For some reason can't get passed floor 2-1 no boss or portal and get any progression on main qeust for killing skeletons. Very confused how to get any progression if I am missing something or game is bugged.... Please if you can help me out thank you

    All you have to do to progress is kill the monster next to the portal at the big red skull on the map and take the portal.
    The quests are for extra rewards.

    i can't get the same one completed. only got 5/8 of the skeletons and been through map multiple times

    click on 2-1 and challenge. should work as I did that on top of the portal first time
