The Next Agent?
Anyone have any idea about the newest agent? I heard his name was Bombshell or something.
I just want her😔
I just want her back... she was my everything, now I have nothing😔
Animating the captions for this was super fun 🤩
It took about 2 weeks to get the whole video done but it's finally done and I'm happy with it. More to learn! 👊👊 Some of the animated text will probably require a bit more attention because they're more subtle.

[NA/EU] Winter is looking for Valorant Players [16+]
Welcome to Winter!
Winter has been a home for gamers since the late 90s when our founders discovered the joys of online gaming. We are a community of gamers spanning across all current generation platforms and numerous games, from PC to Nintendo Switch, Modern Warfare to Dungeons and Dragons. With over 8500 members, we have a place for everyone regardless of your gaming preference.
Whilst we encourage friendly competition, we are not a home for toxicity; we do not have ‘sponsors’, and avoid dealing with ‘eSports’. Each game has a unique approach to fulfilling that competitive itch, though we do not solicit our members with products or encourage an elitist attitude.
Winter offers our members a place to call home. We understand that personal life comes first; if you have to leave gaming, there will be no repercussions — Winter will always be here for you. We also offer a Discord server https://discord.gg/GfXPjRQ, and website (https://winterclan.net), to ensure we are able to communicate effectively with our members, and that they have all the tools necessary to get in the game!
For the Valorant side of the clan, we try to host 4-5 events a week. Events are times where we all just get together to either play ranked or unranked. When there aren't any events we are still active with lots of people to play with throughout the day. If you are looking for a great group of people to play with, Winter is the place for you.
For more information, or to join, please reach out to SmexyPhoenix#8324 on Discord.
We hope to see you soon… stay frosty!

In Unrated mode, only 80% of the team needs to vote yes in order to surrender instead of 100%. Also, teams can vote for a surrender after 5 rounds instead of 8.

How Valorant Ranking Works
Finally we have ranked! Players are out there right now grinding to become the best player they can be and the competitive scene looks like it’ll be starting up soon, because of it. But before getting started with your ranked grind, let me explain to you how it all works and the process of getting your rank and what determines it.
First off, here is the list of ranks. Everything up to the final rank is in 3 parts, counting upwards (Silver 1, Silver 2, Silver 3, Gold 1…). The ranks are: Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Immortal, Radiant. Originally the last rank used to be “Valorant”, but this was planned to be changed and finally was changed when Competitive was released in the full release of the game. Riot Games did this to prevent confusion and to make the agents seem more powerful (notice the last two ranks are strong adjectives).
To get your rank, you have to play 5 ranked matches as unranked and then you’ll find your rank on the screen and next to your name on the scoreboard. If you can’t play ranked yet, you’re missing 20 matches of regular unranked competitive and should complete those before expecting to have the chance to play ranked.
How do you get the highest rank possible? Well… don’t get carried to victory. Unlike many games, Valorant actually looks at your own personal performance a lot more than other games do. If you think winning all 5 matches will get you placed high up, you’re wrong. You have to be winning matches with a solid score and solid individual performance for the agent(s) you play. Carrying players to higher ranks will be a lot harder because of this (excellent work by Riot Games). Also, if you’re matched up against a 5-queued team and you’re playing solo, you’ll be rewarded better for a solid performance because of Riot’s belief that the game is based around teamwork. Being a solo while up against a 5-queued team is tough but rewarding. (Teams must be within 2 ranks of each other to queue for competitive).
Apparently the season will last two months, so keep track of your progress throughout that time period. You can be inactive for two weeks before you lose your rank. It just takes one game to get your rank back and it will not deteriorate over your time of inactivity.
So to overview everything again… there are 22 ranks in Valorant that go from Iron to Radiant. Your personal performance plays a heavy part in your rank and not just your win/loss ratio. Also, you can play with players within 2 ranks of you and you should be expecting that in game a lot. It’s a team-based game that Riot Games plans on keeping as a team-based game. Solo carrying will be extremely difficult and nearly impossible unless someone will be making a new account to help you out (which will take a long time to do). So, enjoy the game and good luck! Let me know what rank you start out at!
Playing Valorant unrated, looking for funny group, discord is t8Mxf and my tag is #0209
Looking for decent players, if Ur new that's fine, with a good sense of humour and not a monotone voice!!!! Just talk and don't leave cause I'm not a 25 year old that has a vape and isn't as good as shroud, basically don't have expectations, looking for permanent group as well 👍
What’s up everyone. Looking for a steady squad to play some Valorant with. Don’t have to be the best in the world because I’m not. Just looking to get better with a group of people. Have a sense of humor is the only requirement. HMU on here or at discord @ GingieG#8455

Tips for every agent
Strong and Weak Agents on Each Map
Each Valorant agent has their own strengths and weaknesses, what most players don’t know is that these power levels fluctuate on certain maps. The upper echelon of Valorant players are aware of this secret, and it’s time you knew too.
As I am sure many of you are aware, Valorant’s Esports scene is ramping up with the Ignition Series. A great indication of what does and doesn’t work at the highest levels of play can be gleaned from this competitive scene. After compiling the first few weeks of the competitive team comps and which map they are on, a pattern appears.
Picking Sage was no surprise, but Brimstone has been just as consistent. Breach has fallen out of favor, and Cypher has seen a lot of play. While the power level of the three S tier agents (Sage, Brimstone, and Cypher) stay about the same in each map, others find themselves empowered in some maps and weakened in others.
Sova: In Bind, there are Sova arrow line-ups that are especially effective for each site, many common hiding places, and choke points. The wide-open space and fewer places to hide give him room for potent recon darts to expose his enemies.
Viper can make full use of her ultimate and abilities can hold the plant site positions with great success in this map. The spacing and size of the plant sites are just right for complete coverage of a site.
Phoenix is stronger if used right. In Bind, there are many favorable corners to flash around as Phoenix, giving him an almost Reyna-level flash when used properly.
Omen can struggle on this map because it’s very open. This makes it harder to flash and safely infiltrate enemies with his ultimate. There are a lot fewer unorthodox vantage points to teleport to than other maps, so catching enemies off-guard like usual as Omen won’t work as well.
Similar to bind, Sova has a lot of open space to work with, giving him more bang for his recon buck.
Viper struggles in Ascent due to the map’s sheer size. Placing abilities in one place leaves her bare in another, and the amount of distance between sites spells disaster if she has already committed to one site and they rotate to another.
Omen: If there was anywhere to buy an Operator, it would be in Haven. A good Omen is a death warrant for AWPers in Haven. There are many places to flank AWPers from and his flash is very effective on snipers. His flanking strength matters even more in Haven because C-Long and A-Long are prime places for AWPers to camp.
Jett: There are a lot of superior sniper positions and aggressive angles she can take to force kills and get out safely. For the same reason that AWPs are good in Haven, Jett can theoretically AWP better than any other agent. It’s simply like adding wings to a tiger.
Viper: There are too many sites to cover with Viper’s abilities. Every added site takes away from her control of a single site. Similar to her problem with Ascent, the enemies have too many methods of making her efforts in vain.
Viper: This is probably the easiest time Viper is going to have in a game. The plant sites of Split are tailored for Viper to protect. Her ultimate is godlike in B and not far from overpowered in A as well. Along with her smoke, wall, and Molotov, she can strut in sites on Split like her own backyard.
Omen: In my opinion, Omen’s ultimate doesn’t get any better than in Split. There are so many places to safely flank from, it’s insane. An Omen with an ultimate is a scary and very spontaneous thing on Split. This, coupled with the many tight spaces he can flash make for a match made for murder.
Sova: For the very same reason that Omen thrives, Sova suffers. There are far too many corners that obstruct the recon arrows and bouncing arrow trajectory. These are two of Sova’s lifelines cut slightly short.
Jett: The many small, tight rooms that make-up Split makes Jett’s specialty of AWPing and dashing away much more difficult. The map is too clumped up to effectively dodge enemies without getting tagged, and you often don’t get the full range of your dash. A lot of tight spaces exist which hinder her dash dead in its tracks. The hit-and-run playstyle she is good for is greatly diminished in Split.
Any agents that weren't mentioned are, in my opinion, just about the same in most places. Of course, Raze seemingly deserves a space somewhere on this list in Bind, but she's good just about anywhere. Let me know if I missed anything or if you disagree with my choices in the comments.
AHHH... PERFECT START AFTER 2 WEEKS WITHOUT PLAYING VALORANT
