Ryan's Always Right: Slay the Spire
Welcome to the first edition of Ryan's Always Right! I will be posting a new game review every Friday so be sure to follow me for more! This week’s review features Slay the Spire, which just got a massive 2.0 update and a new character called The Watcher.
In a genre all its own, Slay the Spire is a roguelike deckbuilding game. While that may sound like a pretty strange combination, it somehow comes together like peanut butter and jelly. The game starts off by choosing one of four characters, each with their own special abilities and cards. Through turn-based combat and clever strategy, you’ll have to lead your character to ascension using your deck of cards and your arsenal of relics and potions.
Acquire special loot and new cards by advancing from room to room, progressively transforming your basic starting 12 card deck into a fine-tuned monster-killing machine. That’s the idea anyway, but the execution is not so simple. The monsters you face won’t be defeated easily, and just 1 death means it's game over. In order to reach the end you must choose your path wisely and carve your destiny, navigating and ascending over 50 floors, each with its own unique feature.
In the unfortunate (and likely) event of your early demise, you can take solace in knowing that your efforts were not in vain as you unlock new cards which you can encounter in future playthroughs. The more cards you unlock, the more you begin to recognize the potential strength and synergies between them, always making you eager to test out a new strategy and try one more time. Cards I initially thought were terrible ended up becoming some of my absolute favorites.
Slay the Spire is a unique game; you might win on your very first attempt, or you might lose 20 games in a row. There’s quite a bit of luck and a whole lot of decision making involved, and it’s easy to wind up in an insane situation (either good or bad) and have absolutely no clue how you got there. That said, even with the best of luck you’ll need to play skillfully if you want to reach the end; victory isn’t nearly as close as it appears and there’s more to the spire than meets the eye.
Overall, Slay the Spire is a fantastic game with limitless possibilities and wide cross-genre appeal, perfect for casual and hardcore gamers alike. Highly recommended.
Ryan’s Rating: 5/5

Psycho Social. KAPPA
I'm playing another indie title to review and it's called Agatha Knife.
Please drop a like and comment below with other indie titles on the switch you would like to see me play and review.
I fell into a litter box
Kitten Squad, what can I say about this indie title by PETA. First off, welcome to a bad Binding of Issac skin cover. The graphics arent all bad, some of it is actually appealing, like the cut scenes. I'd say a good bit of time was spent on those cut scenes. But the rest of the game just feels like a thrown together cover for BoI. The script has no straight forward story, it's somewhat everywhere. A good bit of grammatical errors, let's talk to the editor!
There are customizable options you can use for your little cat that you buy with coins that you pick up from crates and destroyed robots. The prices on these items are a little out there, even some of there character skins you can buy get up into the $50,000 coin range. Sadly, I was not about to commit that kind of time to the game, as it bored me after about 2 hours. Look below at a small gif briefly showing the "shop".
Lastly, I have to give the game credit where credit is do, if you're bored or at work with nothing to do and you brought your Switch with you, then this is a good time killer. -Live life and Play On.

What are some of your favorite genres of games?
Indie Games feature pretty much everything, from bullet hell shooters to platformers, metroidvanians, farming sims, and more! Personally I love metroidvanias like Hollow Knight and Ori and the Blind Forest.
What are some of your favorites? Are you the type to relax and chill with Stardew Valley or do you want to torture yourself with Nuclear Throne?
Top 20 games of the decade imo
1. Titanfall 2
2. Rainbow 6
3. Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag
4. Forza Horizon
5. Smash bros (wii)
7.Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown
9. Ghost Recon Wildlands
10. Dark Souls 2
11. Pokemon Black and White
14. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild
15. Horizon Zero Dawn
16. Black Ops 2
17. Mortal Combat X
18. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
19. For Honor
20. GTA 5
These are just games iconic to the last 10 years ive spent gaming, not an end all list, I was simply insipired by the mods. In their honor i didnt put skate 3 on the list.
Following are my favorites explained.
Titanfall 2: the fastest paced first person shooter of the decade, its not for everyone because of the skill required, it pushes new boundaries for movement in a game, which is accentuated by the maps, which cater to all styles of gameplay. The price right now is dirt cheap for the end all best game of the decade.
Rainbow 6: Ubisoft comes with problems more often than not but r6 is made well and going strong into year 4, another very high skill game but not without reward. If u havent played r6 you probably dont play shooters.
Ace Combat 7: I looked forwards to this game more than most especially after battlefront 2 with the spaceships and ace combat didnt dissapoint. The best fighter pilot game out there, just short of a simulator.
Pubg: saw an article that said fortnite came first. Pubg is the original fortnite and my favorite mobile game.
I can post geometry dash content without worry
Im still working my best trying to beat time machine
