Your Favorite way to Game
I know we all have our favorite system to play, even if we own multiple. There will always been that one console with that one game you just have to play. Which console is that for you? Vote above and comment below if you would like to add anything or explain your answer!
Mine is the Switch, its easy to use, convenient and can be used in handheld mode which is helpful with my security job.
What Happened To STADIA?
The Stadia launch came and went without much overall fanfare. The hyped masses, myself included, seemed to have been waiting for the ball to drop. Waiting for the reviews to come in. Problem is, while the tech is fantastic and solid, the service itself is still a little awkward and spotty. Given time, and the launch of the free version sometime this year, we could be in for Stadia to still become something amazing. It just isn’t there yet. While 100% betting on Xbox Series X, Project xCloud, and Xbox Game Streaming, I still see Stadia as a potential contender down the road... but what do you think?

Over-ear headphones hurt those who game with glasses.
This affects your competitive play style when ear soreness and headaches occur from wearing these over-ear headphones.
This is my solution to solve that problem that many, including myself, suffer with while escaping our realities.
Current Bluetooth ear-bud options have a big audio delay (which is bad for competitive shooters), have terrible audio quality, and require complex audio routing with a console and pc.
This solution fixes these problems. No ear soreness, no ear sweat, no pairing procedures, zero audio delay, long battery life, and high quality audio for increased situational awareness to gain that competitive edge.
I took the Astro Gaming company, and modeled my design after their visual brand language.
This is the result! Very proud of how I was able to go from idea, to concept, in 2 weeks. I am also in love with the way it looks! 😍
I hope you like it!
Looking for a ryzen 9 3900x
Hey gamers recently I’ve decided to build a pc for gaming, and so far I have every single piece except the ryzen 9 3900x. I only want the actual cpu so I’ll pay anything up to $500( nothing higher and I’ll ask for pics to make sure it hasn’t been used). So if you or someone you know is willing to sell a brand new Ryzen 9 3900x for $500 let me know in the comments.n

(Polygon) Google Stadia: Phil Harrison answers our biggest questions
"As a veteran of multiple console launches at Sony and Microsoft, Phil Harrison has been doing this for the better part of 30 years. By “this,” I mean sitting in a hotel room, being interviewed by a reporter about an Exciting New Thing, answering questions without really giving much away.
In the course of my allotted 30-minute interview with Harrison, I (along with compadre Chris Plante) learned a few things about Google Stadia, a new streaming platform for gaming, that we hadn’t learned at Tuesday’s conference.
But mostly, interviewing him is a useful, enjoyable exercise, in that it’s an opportunity to air the discourse, to shake out the conversation and hang it on the washing line.
It’s not game journalist hyperbole to suggest that Stadia is a really big deal. Potentially, it’s the death knell of everything we know about console games, about hardware generations and the hierarchy of platform holders, publishers, developers, media, and players.
Overused words like “disruptive,” and “revolutionary” don’t do justice to Stadia’s potential to upend gaming, to smash the status quo and replace it with something new. Of course, all of this depends on Google’s ability to deliver on its promise, on Harrison’s ability to marshall and steer the future, on the desires and needs of developers, publishers and, most importantly, consumers.
Read the entire interview in the link below. It's a pretty long one, so I didn't think trying to move it into Moot in its entirety would be the best move.
Stadia & Kotaku Splitscreen Interview
If you’ve not heard already, this could be the next big deal. If Google can pull off Stadia implementation, it could completely change the entire game industry. For a quick overview, watch this: https://youtu.be/vsaenNSjclY
The Kotaku interview with Google Stadia's Phil Harrison is below, both in their Kotaku article and in podcast form.
Highlights from the article directly:
• What internet speed do you need to run Stadia?
“We were able to test a lot of this with our Project Stream test late last year, starting back in October. To get 1080p, 60 frames per second, required approximately 25 megabits per second. In fact, we use less than that, but that’s where we put our recommended limit at. But with innovations that we’ve made on the streamer side and on the compression side since then, when we launch, we will be able to get to 4K but only raise that bandwidth to about 30 megabits per second. So if you have less bandwidth, we’ll give you a lower resolution… We do a lot of that for you in the background, and we will only offer up the appropriate bandwidth for the infrastructure that you have.”
• What hardware do you need to get Stadia on your TV?
“Chromecast is the way that you reach TV at launch.” And, by the way, an Xbox controller won’t do the trick: “In order to reach our Chromecast, you need the Stadia controller.” You can use whatever USB controller you want on PC, though.
• Is this just another ambitious Google project that will disappear in a few years, like Google Plus?
“I understand the concern. But I think that all you have to do is look at the level of investment that we have made and continue to make in Stadia. This is not a trivial project by any means. This is a very, very significant cross-company effort that isn’t just my team, but it’s also across YouTube, it’s across our technical infrastructure and networking team. It represents thousands of people who are working on this business.”
• What will it cost?
“I’m not going to talk about it today… We will talk in great detail about that in the summer.”
• Is that summer announcement going to be at E3?
“In the summer.” Well, okay then!
Per the full Podcast:
“At GDC 2019, shortly after announcing Google Stadia, Phil Harrison sat down with Jason and Maddy to reveal more details about Google's new game streaming platform. He didn't say how much it will cost, but he did clarify the importance of a good internet connection to making this service work as well as it should. Plus, you'll need a Chromecast and one of Google's new controllers to make Stadia work on your TV. After we try and fail to get Phil Harrison to tell us whether Google has official E3 plans, we sat down for another interview with Sarah Elmaleh, the voice of Anthem's female protagonist.”
