This isn't "new" news, since information about the production of a Witcher tv series has been out since last year. There's good information about it online. Henry Cavill is gonna play Geralt (the main character). The show will air on Netflix.

Disney's Plan about Alien Series
Under the situation that Alien: Awakening, the sequel of Alien: Covenant, may be canceled after Disney got Fox, Disney announced 2 TV shows about this series will be made. Those 2 shows may be about episodes between Alien: Covenant and Alien: Awakening. It is expected that they give us clues about the conflict between Engineers and David. Ridley Scott will produce one of those 2 shows. The shows will be released on Hulu but there is no information about the exact release date yet.

Chris Evans may return as a DIRECTOR of Marvel's TV show on Disney+.
I think this is what the Russo Brothers said - they said there is some role for him after Avengers: Endgame.
Anyway, it is almost certain that there is no way to watch his acting in other Marvel's Movies after Avengers: Endgame.
However, I think it doesn't mean there is no more Captain America in the next Marvel Movies.

Netflix brought a new original series which is supposedly a TV series from South Korea. I've been watching Netflix original for many years now but never got around to try one starring South Korean actors. I know Bae Doona from Cloud Atlus is in it, but that's pretty much all I know about the cast. Has anyone here seen this? Is it worth watching at all?

The remake for Resident Evil 2 is on the way, and seemingly, the franchise is preparing to take another step by launching a Netflix-made TV series. Although Netflix hasn't confirmed the news officially as it seems it's still in preproduction.

Science or Nonsense: Will the DVD logo ever hit the corner?
The propably most iconic scene from the american TV Show "The Office" has unleashed a massive internet hype.
The question is simple: Will the DVD logo ever hit the corner?
The DVD screensaver was invented by the DVD forum and DVD Licensing Corporation and its pattern is actually quite unspectacular:
Usually the logo starts from the top left corner and proceeds in a 45 degree angle with constant speed towards the bottom of the screen. Once it arrived it will bounce off in a 90 degree angle!
According to The Office however thereโs a unique instance where the DVD logo perfectly hits the corner following a 180 degree turnaround!
But wait! Before you run onto your attic to dig out your old DVD recorder full of expectations, let me tell you that thereโs actually an equation to determine how long it will take for the DVD logo to hit the corner!
All you need is:
- The length and width of your DVD logo and
- The length and with of your TV screen
- The time your DVD logo takes to pass the whole width of your TV screen once
If you watch closely youโll realize that the TV screen from The Office is about 800x600 pixel, while the logo is 140x140.
In the scene the logo takes an estimated time of 6.0 seconds to pass the width of the TV screen once.
When you put those numbers in the equation below:
Youโll find out that in this scene it takes the logo 138 seconds until it hits the corner!
However the equation is not linear, which means that if for example your screen turns out to be one pixel bigger than the one in The Office it might take your logo 1000x138 seconds to hit the corner!
Disregarding this fact the internet continues to watch their DVD savescreens in anticipation for that one moment!

It's not uncommon to see people debate which is better between Marvel and DC, or between the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and DC Extended Universe (DCEU), but I have a slightly different variation here -- and Marvel can stay home this time: Arrowverse VS the DCEU.

Arrowverse essentially began with The CW's Arrow in 2012 and expanded to involve The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and a couple of animated web-series so far. They have quite an expansive multiverse at this point with numerous crossovers both big and small - aside from the usual yearly major crossover event, it's not at all unusual to see characters from one show pop in to help on any other given show. The problem is, with constant expansion of the DCEU, many characters and plotlines in the Arrowverse have been halted in favor of allowing the DCEU to have free reign.

On the other side of things, is the cinematic version of things with the DCEU, beginning with 2013's middling Man of Steel. Problem is, most people seemed to hate the follow-ups in 2016 with both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the Suicide Squad. The DCEU seemed to be falling apart until Wonder Woman stepped in to save the day, even though the first true Justice League film was not as well liked. Now we have Aquaman becoming the second highest rated in the DCEU! Things are looking up, at long last!

The Game Awards 2018 are Tonight
The Game Awards 2018 will be broadcast tonight at 6 pm PST on all major streaming services. On top of the awards aspect of the event, ome studios will be making big announcements about future games at tonightโs show. We know for sure there will be a big Far Cry reveal, for example. There will also be musical performances and celebrity appearances, so thereโs sure to be something for the whole family!

Daredevil Cancelled
You may have heard, or perhaps not, but Netflix has now cancelled yet another Marvel series - leaving only Jessica Jones and The Punisher still standing. After perhaps the best season for any of Netflixโs Marvel shows, Daredevilโs third season will now be the last. The ambitious Defenders series, bringing together all of the main heroes, only received a single season. Iron Fistโs improvements in season two werenโt enough to save it, to no surprise, but Luke Cageโs cancellation was a bit unexpected. Daredevil started the Netflix / Marvel trend, so it being cancelled at its storytelling peak does not bode well for the two remaining series. One of the noted reasons for the current cancellation was in fact that the season ended on such a high note, both within the story and the general reviews. Considering that Jessica Jones season three is currently filming and The Punisherโs second season is finished yet unreleased, itโs quite likely they will be the last. If thereโs any hope at all for these heroes in the MCU, itโll be with Disneyโs upcoming streaming service or perhaps a worthy film appearance in the future. Only time will tell...
Regardless if youโve long since given up on the Netflix Marvel shows, I do at very least highly recommend this last season of Daredevil.

The live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop is going to be produced by Netflix. If anyone here hasn't watched Cowboy Bebop yet, I guarantee that you have heard of the theme song at least once. Actually, I'm not really... I just hope that this season would be better than the last one.
Anyway, all the 13 episodes of Marvel's Runaways Season 2 will be released on Hulu on Dec. 21.
