Song of the Week (5/20) - Nights (Frank Ocean)
It's now been over 1,000 days since Frank Ocean released his last project, Blonde. Frank Ocean is easily one of the most critically acclaimed artists of this generation and this long drought has his fans begging for new music. Well, there's no signs that we'll be getting some any time soon but luckily for us we have Blonde which is quite simply one of the best albums of the decade. While the whole album is incredible, my personal favorite song is Nights. Nights describes the struggle of trying to chase your dreams while knowing that you still have responsibilities, the constant worry that whichever you're doing is the wrong decision and that you're not giving yourself 100% to anything. It's a truly beautiful song that really describes the sort of dichotomies we inevitably encounter in life.

Like I said in my last drawing post it was a work in progress but now it's as finished as it will be and I feel proud! This is my first step into trying to draw animals so I'm pretty excited! I'm going to try to draw my favorite animal next which is a Red Fox! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Song of the Week (5/13) - DVP (PUP)
This week's #SotW features PUP, a punk rock band from Toronto, Canada. PUP is just starting to break into success having just released their critically acclaimed album Morbid Stuff last month. While the music is incredible, PUP does so much more. Their music videos are absolutely astounding, this one included. They also weave "lore" in their songs and videos, kind of like Twenty-one Pilots but on an even greater scale. DVP is an awesome song with an awesome video and after watching it I'm sure you'll agree that punk is still alive and well!

lilbean’s movie quote of the day 💝
It’s finally Friday folks, so I hope that everyone has an exciting and safe weekend ahead of them! I’ve decided that lilbean’s movie quotes of the day will be posted Monday-Friday just so I can at least have a lil break on the weekend; that being said today’s movie quote of the day comes from my most favourite movie of all dang time, Into the Wild. It’s a true story base on the life of Christopher McCandless who graduated as a top student and athlete from his university only to abandon all of his belongings and give his entire $24,000 life savings away to charity before hitchhiking his way up to Alaska to ultimately live alone in the wilderness. On his journey Christopher meets many people who help shape his life along the way. The soundtrack itself is also incredible because the entire thing was made my Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam. I would definitely recommend this film to anyone who has yet to see it. Today’s quote is short, but is something that you really feel in this film, so I thought it was the perfect one to share with you all, so here we go. ✨

My overall first drawing project
@Squishy_FB8532XD asked me what my first good drawing project was and here you go. This was my first project on this kind of paper. It is the "illidari" banner from World of Warcraft. As you can see it was created before I got my name "Dulkros" and it's not quit the style I use in my projects in moot.
lilbean’s movie quote of the day 💝
Happy Sunday, you lovelies! I’m a fan of basically any genre of film, but my absolute favourite genre is horror. My mum let me watch the Evil Dead when I was like 5 years old, and started me on Stephen King novels at a very young age as well, so clearly I’ve been hooked on ‘em ever since hehe. Todays movie quote of the day comes from a film that I purchased on my own at the ripe age of 9, The Shining. At that age I had no idea the hidden meanings behind certain parts of the film, but growing up watching it over and over again, it has grown on me greatly. This quote is quite cynical and some of you will probably question my sanity for using this lol, but it is delivered flawlessly by the one and only Jack Nicholson. That being said, I present to you my MQOTD! ✨
