Demon Shapeshifter Comp Guide!
Final Team: Elise, Varus, Morgana, Aatrox, Brand, Gnar, Draven, Swain
6 Demons, 3 Shapeshifter 2 Imperial
Demons are finally a competitive synergy in Teamfight Tactics.
Start with Elise and Varus for the two Demon synergy. Add Nidalee and Shyvana to unlock the Shape The health bonus has been nurfed, but it is still very strong.
In the late game, Remove the Nidalee and pace Gnar to maintain the Shapeshifter bonus.
Draven is a good extra because you can activate the Imperial synergy and use him as your main carry.
MINI GUIDE: Glacial Elementalist Comp
FINAL TEAM: Lissandra / Braum / Volibear / Kennen / Sejuani / Leona / Brand / Aurelion Sol
***This composition does not require tier 5 champions
***You still need several tier 4 champions to be effective
***Stack all your items on Aurelion Sol and Braum
the BEST Ninja Team Comp (PATCH 9.14)
Ninja is a unique and interesting origin to play. You need to play smart with Ninjas and make sure you either have just 1 or 4 of them on the board at a time. You'll enjoy pretty powerful origin bonus that'll tear down your enemy units. With path 9.14, Ninjas make an excellent pairing with Elementalists. Glass synergy Golem will provide a solid tank.
3 Assassins: +150% critical strike damage
4 Ninjas: Ninja gains +40% attack damage
3 Elementalist: At the start, summon a 2500HP Golem
Equip Zed with Zeke's Herald and position your team in a line on the back row. Zeke's Herald gives additional attack speed to units to 2 spaces on the left and right. Place your best damage dealers accordingly. Equip Akali with Locket of the Iron Solari and position her so that you get the maximum shield out of her.
Look for B.F. Words and Giant's Belt to make Zeke's Herald. This items buff stacks up so get more than 1 on the smae unit to give left and right units a big buff in attack speed.
Also look for component items to make Locket of the Iron Solari. This comp doesn't have many tanks so this item will provide with some extra buffer to absorb some of the damage.
Put Zeke's on Zed, Lockets on Akali.
You wanna find Brand ASAP, it would be great if you can get him from the carousel. If you can get him, you'll have the Elementalist synergy from the mid game and that'll help carry you with sure victories while you are try to complete the rest of the built. Keep looking for Kenne, Brand, Akali.
By this point, you should already have Brand and Akali on board and you should be in the process of getting them to 2 stars. Don't try to go higher than that. By now a Locket should be place on Akali for more survivability. Make sure your team is in a line at the bottom row and Zed and Akali according to items buffs.
Yordle Team Comp Guide
If you complete with Yordle comp, it will dodge 60% of the incoming attack.
Yordles in Teamfight Tactics are all 6, Tristana, Lulu, Poppy, Veigar, Kennen, Gnar.
Most good composition is Tristana, Lulu, Poppy, Veigar, Kennen, Aurelion Sol, Gnar.
You need to look for Chain Vest and Recurve Bow to Create Phantom Dancer to put on Gnar and Poppy. You can also look for Tear of the Goddess to make Frozen Heart which fits well on Poppy that can enemies attacks slower. And you need to stack Aurelion Sol. Spear of Shojin is the best item for him, so look for B.F. Sword and Tear of the Goddess.
By this point, you’re hoping to have upgraded a Tristana and Lulu to at Least 2-tier. You’re building up our other Yordles, and you’re waiting to find an early Gnar. Gnar’s shapeshift ability is pretty strong, so it will make a great tank, which is something this build lacks early on.
At this point we should have our build pretty solidified. We want to get both Gnar and Aurelion Sol to at least 2-star, but getting them any higher than that is going to be very unlikely. As an eighty unit, you can look to add Shyvana who will give us the Dragon synergy and makes for another powerful unit. That also protects us a bit better again magic based builds like full Sorcerers.
Can't press play? How to FIX gray play button bug
Last couple of days a large number of TFT players have reported that the play button in the client is grayed out and they cannot press play. Apparently there is a very quick and easy fix to this bug. Let me show you how:
SO HOW DO YOU FIX IT?
1. Open up the Launcher
2. Press the play button in the top left corner
3. Choose PvP option from the sub-header menu.
4. Click the TfT icon on the right and make sure to select "ranked"
5. Press Confirm at the bottom
Once you look at the solution, it's pretty simple and straight forward but it could be extremely annoying when you don't know how to solve it.
Bit about Gnar Comp
Gnar is a very unique champion unlike many other. His ability allows him to displace your opponent squad and also CCing them. On top of that, Gnar can become humongous with massive HP for your opponent to deal with when he transforms. The damage he inflicts and the utility of his transformation is why he's classified as the S-tier champion. Fix him up with a couple of defensive items and he WILL transform without fail and lead your team to clean victory.
If you plan to build around Gnar, you wanna to for Wild/Sorcerer composition and also any comp that utilizes Shapeshifters. I'd go for Wild/Sorcerer since it's one of the strongest comp and then add in Shapeshiters on the side.
The ideal items on Gnar are Dragon's Claw, Phantom Dancer, Titanic Hydra.
If you get a Spatula and Rod, you might consider making Gnar a Sorcerer. Your Gnar will have increased mana generation and he'll transform sooner.
TFT Beta Pass End Schedule & Patch 9.16
Teamfight Tactics Beta Pass is finally coming to an end. Riot has announced that the TFT beta pass will end at different times for different regions since many of these regions did not have the same release timeline on live servers.
Riot Beernara announced that the last day to complete your challenges and collect your rewards is between July 23 and July 29.
The chart below shows the exact end dates and times for every region:
Riot also warned us that "Even if you were in a game or waiting for a game to complete when the pass turns off," you will not be able to turn in challenges or collect rewards.
Make sure you collect your rewards before deadline!
Additionally, next beta pass announced. Riot Beernana confirmed that the second beta pass will launch on live servers with patch 9.16 The next beta pass will be very similar to the one live right now.
an Effective Comp after 9.14 - Shapeshifter Demons
Patch 9.14 is live now and Elise is a tier one unit. You can get Elise and Nidalee and level up to 2 stars pretty early in the game now. If you succeed at acquiring 2 star Elise & Nidalee early on, this comp will deliver massive damage. Don't forget to grab Varus as well early on and you will enjoy this game.
While in the mid-game, you should begin to get the Shapeshifter buff and Demon buff. Start looking for Shyvana who will be one of your main carries and Aatrox. Make sure you get 4 Demons and 3 Shapeshifters on board.
Your final comp should include:
Aatrox, Aurelion Sol, Elise, Gnar, Morgana, Varus, Shyvana
4 Demons: Demons have 50% chance on hit to burn all garget's current mana, dealing true damage equal to the amount burned.
3 Shapeshifters: On transform, gain 60% max HP
2 Dragons: Dragons immune to Magic Damage.
Warmog's Armor = Giant's Belt + Giant's Belt
Rapid Firecannon = Recurve Bow + Recurve Bow
Hextech Gunblade = BF Sword + Needlessly Large Rod
Seraph's Embrace = Tear of the Goddess + Tear of the Goddess
Guinsoo's Rageblade = Needlessly Large Rod + Recurve Bow
Rabadon's Deathcap = Needlessly Large Rod + Needlessly Large Rod
JoshOG wins TFT Showdown!
JoshOG is your TFT Showdown winner! JoshOG started the day out with the Volibear carry that he pioneered and it was the very same Volibear that ultimately got him the win. In an insane unexpected play, JoshOG double ghostbladed his Volibear expecting the second one to pop off. Instead of popping off however, both ghostblades stayed on Volibear and granted him double assassin bonuses! This meant that Volibear was hitting for over 1k every auto. What a great tournament, congrats to JoshOG!

Glacial and Brawlers ft.Robot
Anivia, Ashe, Blitzcrank, Brand, Cho’Gath, Lissandra, Rek’Sai, Volibear.
4 Brawlers - +700 bonus health to Brawlers.
3 Elementalist – At the Start of combat, summon an Elemental with 2500 health and 100 attack damage.
4 Glacial – Glacial units have a 35% chance to stun on hit for two seconds.
1 Robot – Robots start combat with full mana.
How to Match Component Items to your Champions
B.F Sword ===> Darius
(+20 attack damage) This item is best suited to Darius since one of his best stats is attack damage. Combine it with a Needlessly Large Rod to make a Hextech Gunblade and heal 25% of the damage you deal.
Recurve Bow ===> Ashe
(+20% attack speed) The bow goes on Ashe and you can start building around her attack speed. Watch out for a Tear of the Goddess and combine the two to make Statikk Shiv. Once the built is complete, her every 3rd attack will deal 100 splash magical damage.
Chain Vest ===> Leona
(+20 armour) Build around Leona's strong armour stat. Find a Needlessly Large Rod to make her a Locket of the Iron Solari to shield units around her for 200 health.
Negatron Cloak ===> Poppy
This item will further increase her magic resist which is already strong. Throw in a Chain Vest to make Thornmail and reflect 35% of the damage taken from attacks.
Needlessly Large Rod ===> Swain
(+20% spell damage) This item is perfect for Swain since he already has a decent mana and ability power. Get a Giant's Belt and create Morellonomicon. He'll cast spells with burn damage and prevent healing.
Tear of the Goddess ===> Varus
(+20 starting mana) Varus has decent ability power and mana base stats. Look for Needlessly Large Rod to create a Luden's Echo. Once you complete the build, you'll deal 200 splash damage.
Giant's Belt ===> Volibear
(+200 health) his already solid health pool, Volibear is an ideal candidate for this belt. Combine it with Recurve Bow and create a Titanic Hydra. Volibear's maximum HP's 10% will be dealt as splash damage.
Elementalist Team Comp Guide
Elementalist Comp is effective on Knight, which is who strong at Armor.
Elementalists in Teamfight Tactics are all 4, Anivia, Brand, Kennen, Lissandra.
Elementalists are few of them, but that means collaborating with various combination. That means it has many buffs.
Which is Glacial, Ranger. : Vayne, Varus, Lissandra, Ashe, Kindred, Sejuani, Brand, Anivia.
If you put together this whole team, you’ll get 65% Chance to Double Attack Speed, a Summoned a Golem, 30% Chance to Stun, and 40% Chance to Mana Burn.
You should looking for B.F. Sword and Tear of the Goddess to make Spear of Shojin for Ashe and Brand. Alternatively, you can look for Needlessly Large Rod and Recurve Bow for Guinsoo’s Rageblade for Brand.
Once we're getting into the middle of the game, you'll want to start looking hard for Ashe. If we're lucky, we'll find ourselves a Kennen, and if we're even luckier then we'll find an early Brand. If we can get the Lissandra, Kennen, and Brand combo on the board, then we can get our Golem pretty early which should help carry us into the later rounds.
You should be well on your way to some 2-star higher tier units at this point, and hopefully, you’ve been able to 3-star some of the early game ones. Now you’re looking for Anivia, as well as 2-star Sejuani and Brand. It’s usually very unlikely that you’ll be able to 3-star anything above 4-cost unless the game goes on forever. If you have the room on your bench and no one else is using your build then some of them might be worth saving. Once you find that Anivia, get rid of the Kennen. You’ll also likely find the Kindred during this time which will finish up the final buff for your Ranger synergy.
New 9.14 Patch Team comp Guide #1
Brawler Void Glacial
Kassadin, Blitzcrank, Varus, Rek’Sai, Ashe, Volibear, Cho’Gath
4 Brawlers, 3 Void, 2 Glacial, 2 Ranger, 1 Robot
Volibear has been buffed in 9.14 patch. Reduced the mana cost of his ability, and increased attack speed, health, damage.
Early Game: Start with Blitzcrank and Rek’Sai for the two Brawler bonus.
Mid-Game: Adding Kha’Zix and Kassadin to finish the three Void Synergy.
Late Game: Ashe, Volibear, and Varus bring the two Glacial and two Ranger bonuses.
Remove Kha’Zix or Kassadin and add Cho’Gath to keep the Void synergy.
Ninja Assassin Elementalist
Lissandra, Shen, Zed, Pyke, Kennen, Akali, Brand
4 Ninjas, 3 Assassins, 3 Elementalist
This comp is easy to build as there are mostly low cost champ, but also note that you need several units to enable the trait bonuses.
Shen is the only tank champ in this comp, but once unlock the Elementalist synergy, you’ll have a golem on the field. So now he can be a tank. But The Golem nurfed in 9.14 Patch (damage decreased), however it doesn’t matter a lot because it’s a tank.
Early Game: Start with Pyke, Zed, and a radom Assassin to achieve the three Assassin synergy and one more Ninja bonus.
Mid-Game: Add Lissandra, Kennen, Brand for the 3 Elementalist synergy.
Remove the random assassin you added to add Shen and Akali for the four Ninja synergy.
Late Game: Replace Lissandra with Anivia in order to retain the Elementalist bonus with better unit.
Insane 7 Synergy Comp
Insane 7 synergy comp I came across on youtube.
It's in Dutch but you can still check out his board.
Current BEST Comps (Patch 9.14) - #2 Imperial Spark
Darius / Draven / Swain / Poppy / Sejuani / Katarina / Garen
The core of this comp is about using Ionic Spark (200 true damage) every time your opponent casts a spell. It will benefit from the Imperial buff and if you have 2 sparks, that's already 800 damage which ticks before spell cast killing the enemy unit. You'll need Draven to dish out massive DPS to kill the fronliners.
-you have a 2 star Darius and Garen
-you have the necessary components to make at least 1 Iconic Spark
-Early game: Garen and Darius are your main units. Find Katarina if possible for Imperial buff. Find other sold 2 start units.
-Mid game: You should have 4 Knights (including Garen & Darius) + Draven. Continue collecting other imperials on the bench.
-You need minimum of any 4 knights to make this comp work.
-Make Knights Vow and make 6 knights and create this ultra tanky frontline barrier.
-Only play 2 imperials or 4. NEVER 3!
-Run Poppy early game and swap out Garen. or Poppy for Kayle later.
-Run Darius and Draven first then collect all 4. Make sure the buff goes to DPS units.
IV. CARRY ITEMS:
-Draven: Guinsoo's Rageblade, Rapid Firecannon, Bloodthirster
-Swain: Ionic Spark, Phantom Dancer, Dragon's Claw
Shapeshifter is a Demon >:0
With Shapeshifter, you can win even though you’re losing. Because When Shapeshifter transforms, Health and Damage and even attack distance increase. So, don’t let your hope go.
Complete Composition : Aatrox, Aurelion Sol, Elise, Gnar, Morgana, Shyvana, Varus.
3 Shapeshifters - On transform, gain 60% max HP.
4 Demons – Your demons have a 50% chance on hit to burn all of the target’s current mana, dealing true damage equal to the amount burned.
2 Dragons – Dragons are immune to Magic Damage.
Items that recommended
Warmog’s Armor, Rapid Firecannon, Hextech Gunblade to Shyvana.
Seraph’s Embrace, Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Rabadon’s Deathcap to Varus.
Easy Beginner Compositions #3 NOBLE & WILD
Sometimes you just cannot seem to get a hold of champions you wanted. If everyone else is going for high demand units, you can always build Noble. In the early game, you want to have a strong front line to protect and toughen your squad. Garen can be pretty useful in this situation. Garen's pretty tanky with good damage and if you throw in another early game tank in your team, you should be hold for awhile.
I know this is not the most exciting and sophisticated composition but when everything is upgraded, this comp can be pretty fun. So here's the your whole team comp:
Garen / Fiora / Vayne / Lucian / Leona / Kayle
You won't find Kayle until the late game so in the mean time, experiment with other synergies like Wild. Throw in Warwick and Nidalee and you'll have a pretty solid mid game team. Warwick provides a decent off-tank right by Garen and if you can level up Nidalee to 3 star, she WILL carry. You gotta equip her with Rapid Firecannon and Guinsoo's Rageblade to make her really work.
In the meantime, you don't wanna forget about Garen. He is your primary tank and his best item is Morellonomicon. The more he spins, the more damage he deals.
Once you survive into the late game, your team should be pretty tough to handle with Noble and Wild buffs.
Powerfull Imperial Team comp!!
Darius, Draven, Garen, Katarina, Sejuani, Swain, Poppy.
With this group, you’ll get the 4 Knights, 4Imperials.
Recommended Items: Ionic Spark, Hextech Gunblade, Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Rapid Firecannon, Blood Thirster
Bit about Brand Comp
Brand is a massive damage dealer and with him on your board, you'll have to transition your comp to get the most out of this champion in the mid-game.
Equip him with minimum of 2 items if you want him to be powerful enough to be the main carry. Brand has a very strong synergies. You can easily run 2 Demons and when Brand is backline auto attacking the enemy frontline CC, he has a 40% chance to burn their mana.
Elementalists are one of the strongest classes. Brand can summon 2,500 health tank as an extra unit on your board.
Brand will shine in almost any composition as long as his Elementalists buddies are included. Some of the best synergies will come with Ranger, Elementalist and Imperial Elementalists. You can combine and experiment with other types of comps and they will still remain strong.
Best items on Brand are: 1. Rapidfire Cannon, 2. Spear of Shojin, 3. Seraph's Embrace, 4. Guinsoo's Rageblade.
TFT teambuilder with Next Unit Suggestions
the BEST Gunslinger Team Comp (PATCH 9.14)
With the 9.14 patch, Gunslingers got a pretty good buff. So master the art of putting together a perfect Gunslinger Team Comp and you will enjoy a lot of victories!
1) Gunslingers are on high demand now that the 9.14 patch is out.
2) Get a hold of as many on-hit items on them as possible to debuff your enemey.
3) Pair the Gunslingers with Pirates for more gold and roll earlier.
Gunslinger & Pirate Comp:
You get a pretty powerful buff with Gunslingers and you'll have a 50% chance to fire additional attacks and stack that, you'll attack 1 additional enemy and then 2 more!
You will take advantage of on-hit items that can debuff the entire teams!
With the extra gold you earn with Pirates goes to rolling.
There's no tank with this build in the early game. Place Lucian in front and keep other units away from the chaos. Your goal is to debuff your enemy team enough so they cannot inflict too much damage on you.
In later stages, of course Cho'gath and Sejuani and absorb some damage.
1) Early game - Equip Cursed Blade & Red Buff on Gunslingers to debuff your opponent team. To make these you'll need Chain Vest, giant Belt, Negatron Cloak and Recurve Bow.
You will place these early items on Tristana since she's got the fastest attack speed and her ability can spread the debuffs to every single units on your opponents team.
Depending on the type of items you get, you can either put Spear of Sho'jin/Guinsoo's Rageblade on Pyke, OR Hush/Sword Breaker on Lucian.
***The key unit here is Tristana. If you can 2 star her early, this comp will work out for you smoothly. Team her up with Lucian and Graves as early as possible for that delicious Gunslinger buff.
2) Mid game - By this stage, you should've upgraded some of your lower tier champion and now you can start populating your team with Pirates for the synergy. With Pirates, you'll rolling and leveling up faster. Look out for Pykes and Ganbplanks.
3) Late game - By this point, you will have your 2 main synergies filled out. Now you can go for Cho'Gath and Sejuani to complete your team. Place them upfront . In case you come across Miss Fortune, grab her and replace Gangplank or Graves with her unless they are already 3 star.
5 Unique & Interesting Comps : No 5. Ninja Deliverator
Kennen with his AoE stun and damaging ability, is generally a great choice that's hard to go wrong with.
However, often the problem seems to be Kennen being stuck in the wrong position for his ability and he's a miss. So you wanna gear Kenne up with a Youmuu's Ghostblade and he will jump to just the right spot. Also, you wanna equip him with at least one Spear of Shojin and the last spot can be filled with a Rabadon's Deathcap, a Morellonomicon, Hextech Gunblade, or Guinsoo's Rageblade.
Now as for your synergy options, You can create ideal synergy with Elementalists. Add Lisandara and Brand for damage and a friendly golem who can absorb some damage for your team. Also consider going Glacial as well and pair with Lissandra for more stuns.

Current BEST Comps (Patch 9.14) - #1 Glacial Bralwers
Blitzcrank / Cho'gath / Rek'sai / Volibear / Brand / Lissandra / Ashe / Anivia
Great thing about this comp is that you don't really care about getting your mana drained. Your entire comp serves as a protective barrier for Volibear. Once you reach level 8 with the 4 glacial buff, nobody could stop you.
-you have component items to make Rapid Firecannon
-you have a bunch of brawlers early
-Early game: Get 4 brawlers on board ASAP. Use wild buff and any 2 start units in the meantime.
-Mid game: By level 7, have 4 brawlers and 3 elementalist. Get the elementalists first then add in other units.
-Warmogs & Redemption are highly OP in early game since they give so much health to magnify your own health.
-You cannot make this comp work without Volibear with RFC.
-Watch your opponents and their backline units and play smart with Blitzcrank.
-Getting man burned/CC'ed is a deal breaker.
If you want to be real Elementalist
Elementalist Team Comp Guide

With this comp you’ll get the following buffs:
3Elementalists – At the start of combat, summon an Elemental.
3Assassins - +150% Critical Damage for Akali, Pyke, Zed
Exactly 4 Ninjas – 60% Attack damage for Akali, Kennen, Shen, Zed

Patch 9.14 Rundown and Predictions
SPOILER ALERT: 6 Noble is still absolute TRASH
Everything we know about Twisted Fate
1) Very Fragile (450HP/lvl1, 810HP/lvl2) - similar to Ahri & Veigar
2) Ults for 50 mana (can cast more frequently)
3) 3 range
1) 3 random cards: A stun, AoE, Mana restore
2) Activates with 50 mana, rotating set of cards appear
1) Spear of Shojin: More ults, More cards, More mana for your team
2) Guinsoo's Rageblade: Attack speed and AP
3) Seraph's Embrace: More ults, Morea cards, More mana for your team
TF can fit in with any comp running Pirates or Sorcerers.
1) 6 Sorcerer Comps:
Twisted Fate: CC and Mana Battery. Rank him up.
2) Pirate Comps:
Twisted Fate: brings the Pirate buff up earlier in the game.
TF is pretty fragile with 3 range. Put him next to your ranged carry.
He can feed mana. Place him behind (not the furthest behind) and close to everyone else.
1) TF is a great transition unit. He opens up options for early pirate buff and role fills well in sorcerer comp.
2) Don't be afraid to use him. Buy him, give him items, then sell him after he served his purpose.
3) TF is a great support unit that lights other units.
Noble team comp guide
Noble Comp is very good at surviving, but also weak at strong attack.
Nobles in Teamfight Tactics are all 6, Fiora, Garen, Kayle, Leona, Lucian, Vayne.
Most strong and survival composition is Vayne, Garen, Fiora, Lucian, Braum, Leona, Kayle.
In early game,
Vayne is the main damage carry for the majority of the game, so be sure to stack your items on her. You’re looking for Recurve Bows and Needlessly Large Rods to create Guinsoo’s Rageblades. For extra attack speed. If you have lots of bows, you can use them to create a Rapid Firecannon that fits well on Vayne. Later in the game, you’ll want to prioritize B.F. Swords and Tear of the Goddess to create Spear of Sho’jins that will be placed on Kayle.
You’re looking initially to collect Vayne, Garen Fiora to get the 3-stack Noble buff.
You will hopefully be upgrading your units pretty quickly since they majority of them are low level. Fioira, Garen, and Vayne should likely be 2-star at this point. You should at the very least have your Braum and Lucian going, and be on the look out for your Leona. Ashe makes a really good additional unit in the mid-game, because she will give you the Glacial and Ranger synergy buffs if you've got Vayne and Braum.
You’ve hopefully got couple of 3-star units at this point. If you’ve got the room, you can keep to run Ashe, or you can look out for Sejuani that can help with completing Glacial synergy.
Items fit with Blademaster
Recommended Items: Merollonomicon, Spear of Shojin, Infinity Edge, Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Titanic Hydra, Statikk Shiv, Luden’s Echo.
3Blademasters – Chance to Strike an enemy 2 additional times.
6Blademasters – Chance to Strike an enemy 3 additional times.
Fiora, Shen, Garen, Vayne, Varus.
Fiora, Shen, Gangplank, Pyke, Graves, Aatrox
Fiora, Shen, Gangplank, Aatrox, Draven, Yasuo, Miss-Fortune, Darius, Swain
New TFT champion Twisted Fate in action
3 Best Comps after V9.14.
What do you guys think?
