ARK: SURVIVAL EVOLVED EXTINCTION EXPANSION RELEASE DATE
The expansion, titled ARK: Extinction, releases November 6 on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and will be included in both the Explorer's Pack and the Season Pass. It will also be available as a standalone expansion and upgrade.
The first trailer for Extinction was also revealed, so be sure to check it out below.
Extinction pits players against wandering Titans, who have dominated Earth; a planet which has long been infested by Elements and filled with "both organic and technological" creatures.
In the months leading up to the release of Extinction, Explorer Notes related to it will begin appearing throughout ARK and its other expansion packs. When collected, these notes will unlock new skins, as well as "powerful Tek-themed dinosaur variants." The first of these notes was released last Friday, alongside the first Extinction-themed skin, "Corrupted Helm."

Want to Reset Your Character Stats?
If you are new to ARK, then you might be wondering..."hmm is there a way to reset my engrams?"
Yes as a matter of fact you can set yourself back to level 1. Thankfully, this doesn’t destroy all of your Experience Points, it just gives you the power to reassign all your stats and Engrams all the way up to the level you used the Mindewipe tonic.
Mindwipe can’t be forced on tamed dinosaurs, wild dinosaurs, or on other players. Only you have the power to take it and enjoy its effects. In order to brew this awesome concoction you will need:
24 × Cooked Prime Meat
200 × Mejoberry
72 × Narcotic
72 × Stimulant
20 × Rare Mushroom
20 × Rare Flower
1 × Water
Need to craft this in a Cooking Pot or Industrial Cooker.
(Make sure you have a Canteen, Water Skin, or other item that can hold the Tonic once it’s brewed.)
Ark would be better if another company took over, wildcard have a great concept however they neglect their maps, bugs, glitches and the game altogether they also neglect what the users want they prefer money as they’ve been pumping out dlc and have disregarded hundreds of tickets sent, if they spent the amount of time they did designing aberration and extinction as they did redesigning the base game maps, putting death walls in mesh and implementing a form of ORP (which i know many of you will disagree with but hear me out) once all the tribe members are offline for atleast 1 hour a 12 hour ORP begins if a member logs on while ORP has begun their daily ORP is Disabled 24hrs since ORP ended the tribe will then have to wait 24 hours since the ORP was supposed to end to use it again. During ORP Turrets will do maybe 2x damage and will have a slower fire rate making draining turrets longer and making raiders use more drainers but will make base susceptible to rocket running if area doesn’t have good turret coverage
this will now allow people to sleep and work not play ark constantly or Wildcard could somewhat redesign the game to be similar to rust, Ark will have a times of around 5x tame/raise/harvest and it will reset servers every 3-4 months this will increase PvP, decrease Alpha/Tyrants from bullying bobs and will make the game feel less of a job much more enjoyable
Should I get the game
I've been watching alot youtube vids on ark survival evolved lately, it looks like a really good game and one that I could really get into but I can't decide on if I should get it cause it doesn't seem like a game to play alone on well At least if you wanna progress far and do alot of awesome things you need to be in a tribe. Should I get this game I honestly can't decide.
It's Probably Best Not to Play Ark with Me 🤣
I played this game when it first came for the PC, and I was pretty turned off by the jankiness and how poorly optimised it. I do like the premise of the game being centered around forming clans, building communities, and then pillaging other communities and taking prisoners and then making them build your fort (you know maybe even make them eat their own dead).
Okay, I think that I might have gone too far in my interest in terrorizing other communities in Ark. No wait, apologizing for surviving with your crew is a weakness. The strong will eat the weak. Since I've already gone down this dark rabbit hole, I was playing Ark with my younger brother and I tricked him into putting all of his things in our home, and then I may or may not have forced him into a prison type structure as my slave.
ARK... on mobile?
No, really. Check the App Store. It’s a real thing, and it’s official. It’s free to play (with microtransactions, however) but requires a decent phone, iPhone 7 and up. It can be played on lower spec devices, but even on low graphics settings, I normally don’t get anything over 30 fps (I have an iPhone 6).
And yes, there is multiplayer. iOS can play with Android, and vice versa.
Try it out, and let me know what you think!
