I would say Dauntless is like a progressive game, you never really finish. It's almost like Sea of Thieves, not really though. I recommend playing it with friends to get the true experience of the game

It’s a monster hunter knock off that turned into its own thing, imo it’s kinda just as good as monster hunter, it’s more community based that’s for sure, monthly added content, and yes there’s a end to the game, but it’ll take you least a year to max out completely in mastery and gear and collecting as much transmogs cause fashion hunting, but sense stuff is constantly added it could take longer than a year to catch up, the games really been progressing a lot faster sense 2019, the community is great, very nice non toxic people, because there’s no PvP just team work, I recommend it to everyone but people can’t get over playing dumb ass triple A games or they’ll try it but not commit and play it regularly, but ya it’s boring when you get so good that hunt become 2 mins, but that’s all games eventually.

It's basically a simplified version of Monster Hunter World

I'd say it's a grind to be satisfied it's kinda like destiny in a way but there isn't really a finish to the game there is always something better than what you have
