🚨DAUNTLESS FEATURE COMPETITION🚨

*Please read ALL info below for full details*

Hello Slayers! It’s me Parsa, your friendly neighbourhood Mod. I’m making this post on behalf of all of the Dauntless mods to announce that we are holding a featured post competition.

Now you may be asking, what exactly is this competition? So we are going to be holding this as a way to bring back some life into the lounge, and to give our users a chance to share their awesome content with us and the rest of the Moot community. So for this contest, we want you Mooters to show off your best memes, tips and tricks, guides, artwork, game screenshots, and everything else in between in the form of a post here on the Dauntless lounge.

Every post you make using the #FeatureCompetition will have you entered for a chance to make it on the featured board. So get out there and show us the freshest content you’ve got Behemoth Slayers!!! 😁🤙

*Note* when making posts, please make sure they are posted in the correct board (refer to the guide below if you’re not sure), and please don’t spam the lounge. Although we want to see the best content possible, spamming overused and outdone content will not give you a better chance in the competition. PLEASE make sure to use the hashtag above!

Other than that, happy Mooting everyone, and good luck! 😊

POPULAR Did you know?...

Quick little fun fact: did you know that the word “Dauntless” means to be fearless and determined? Makes sense considering the whole point of the game is to slay hugely intimidating behemoths. So the perfect name for the game in my opinion! 😙

What’s Your Favorite Type Of Weapon ❓

Hello 👋 Slayers of the Dauntless lounge. Welcome everybody. Now if you play Dauntless or have ever played Dauntless in your life or even watched some videos or streams on Dauntless you probably know about the different types of weapons in the game.

The spear, axe, mallet, sword, guns, and hatchets. Now each of the weapons have a completely different and unique style of fighting. From Spears speciality of cutting off parts of the behemoths, to the Axes speciality of literally just trying to do as much damage as you possibly can. The weapon choice is honestly completely based on how you like to play the game. A ranger approach would obviously lead to the choosing of Guns, a more quick meme damage would lead to a sword. Everyone who’s played Dauntless has probably or will soon pick there weapon choice after there first couple hunts. Now here comes the question... what type of weapon do you main in Dauntless. I main an axe because I love doing lots of damage and just full on assaulting the behemoths. Tell me in the comments what you main or just vote in the poll

patrols in dauntless

if you ever need to grind for orbs then just keep doing patrols it's faster to obtain orbs

Patrols in Dauntless are activities that you have to unlock, and they allow you to fight against a random behemoth of a specific element, which lets you farm orbs and similar elemental Reagents. Of course, in order to get Patrols in Dauntless, there’s going to be some grinding and quest-completing to go through, especially if you want to unlock Heroic+ Patrols.

How to Unlock Dauntless Patrols?

To unlock Patrols in Dauntless, you’ll have to progress far enough with the quests, as well as do some grinding. Basically, if you don’t have any quests, you’ll have to grind the Pursuits you have to level up your Mastery and thereby unlock further quests. Specifically, the quest you’re looking for is City on the Verge, where you’ll have to battle a Skarn and a Shrike, among other objectives. This is gonna pop up at around level 8 or so. Once you unlock them, you can access Patrols from the Huntboard menu.

What are patrols in dauntless?

Dauntless Patrols are activities that basically pit you against a random behemoth of a specific element. Depending on the threat level, you can get different items. Every patrol that you complete rewards you with ten Orbs or Arcstones. Threat levels 3-7 drops Orbs, 8-12 Dull Arcstones, 13-17 Shining Acrstone, and Threat Level 17 drops Peerless Arcstones. So, yeah. Mind you, the difficulty of the behemoth you face is a bit random, so you should always prepare carefully so that you don’t get your butt kicked. At least, you should probably team up with a few Dauntless friends.

POPULAR Behemoth(s)

What is the most annoying behemoth (In you’re opinion) that you’ve ever faced? Mine by far would be the tiny little fast behemoth, Riftstalker, now I’ve complained about ALOT of behemoths but this one strikes a new hatred in me 😂.

First of all, he’s/she’s tiny and fast as f..fruit, he/she can use portals everywhere and likes using science kits because he/she has a lot and I mean A LOT of ooze. He/she can even make doppelgängers of himself/herself yet they do damage to you, but if you hit one they disappear but do no damage to the real one.

He/she likes throwing you in the upside down where he/she has the advantage, they’ll make many portals and shoot balls of corruption at your face, he/she can even corrupt you and the only way to be cleansed is to hit him/her.

By far a very annoying behemoth, and trying to break off some parts of him/her is very annoying. And I never want to fight them again the end bye 😂

Dauntless Gems: How to get every type of Gem in Dauntless, including Elemental Tailgems

Everything you need to know on how to farm gems in Dauntless, from Elemental Tailgems to Neutral Skullgems

The Dauntless Elemental Tailgem is the most popular Gem players hunt for in the game, but we've got the low down on how to acquire all the types of Gems right here. Note: To acquire all types of Gem - Tailgem, Skullgem, and Clawgem - you must fight a Behemoth at threat level eight or above.

First up, Tailgems. For Neutral Tailgems, you need to be fighting a Neutral Behemoth, while Elemental Tailgems require you to take on an Elemental Behemoth. Simple, right? Not quite. To get the Neutral or Elemental Tailgem, you need to destroy the tail within two minutes of engaging in combat. That's not easy at all, so you're going to want to have a full squad with the right elemental advantages, all focusing on the tail. That's the only way to get Neutral or Elemental Tailgems.

For Skullgems and Clawgems, the concept is the same. Fight either Neutral or Elemental Behemoths depending on which type you need, then destroy the head in under two minutes for a Skullgem, or the hands/paws/claws etc. for a Clawgem. Don't forget that to get any of these Gems, you need to be fighting Behemoths at threat level eight or more. Some good examples of Behemoths to fight are Rockfall Skarn and Firebrand Charrogg.

Will We Ever See A HP Bar ⁉️

Alright howdy slayers of the Dauntless lounge 👋

You probably don’t know me because I mainly post in Fortnite , Off Topic , etc. I’m trying to expand my ranges of where I post so here we are. You’ll be seeing more of me soon. Well here I have a topic to talk upon.

That’s HP Bars

Now if you have played Dauntless and know the concept of the game I’m sorry I’m just gonna quickly explain it. There are these monsters called Behemoths and your objective is to kill them and craft better armor and weapons off of there drops. It’s a fun game kinda like Monster Hunter if anyone’s ever played that before. While killing higher level Behemoths it couldn’t tend to get annoying just chopping away at a behemoth for large periods of time until its flees and you have to do it again. As a Axe user it’s kinda annoying just hitting away carelessly with my slow axe , it feels like a entirety until he flees or dies. Same with swords , mallets , spears, it’s all very titius work to kill behemoths. Now this could all change in a instant with the addition of a HP bar. Before you go commenting “well there are visual signs like limping , fleeing , and scars.” That doesn’t matter I still can’t tell if he’s gonna die are not. When you get a scar do you die ? No I hope you don’t because that wouldn’t be good. All I ask is a HP bar so I can get more motivated to kill and I know when that behemoth is gonna fall on the floor and die. So do you guys actually think we are ever gonna get a HP bar for behemoths. I really hope we do it would make this game a whole hell of a lot better , runner , and more innovative.

Here is some additional information on this

That’s all Slayers !

Bye

What You Need To Know About Grenades

In Dauntless you have probably used Grenades, but let’s check their info on them!
—————————-
1) Barrage Grenade
The barrage grenade is one of the first grenades you’ll get your hands on. Like a fancy firework, it explodes on impact, then follows up with a series of secondary bursts. Use it to kick off a fight from afar or supplement your bladework when your foe’s out of melee range.
—————————————————————————-
2) Inferno Grenade
The inferno grenade is every bit as fiery as its name implies. Lob one to lay down a carpet of flame that deals blaze aether damage until it expires. You can even pair these with a blaze weapon to really turn up the heat.
—————————————————————————-
3) Concussive Grenade
Ever wish you could interrupt a Behemoth without even drawing your weapon? Now you can. Concussive grenades are designed to interrupt key Behemoth moves like Embermane’s charge or Shrike’s glide. Time your toss well and you’ll be rewarded with an opening for your next attack.
—————————————————————————-
4) Coldsnap Grenade
Not every Behemoth is weak to fire, so we’ve also included an arctic option: the coldsnap grenade. These grenades fragment into several small icicles which then explode to deal frost aether damage. Not a nice surprise if you’re a lava-spitting blaze Behemoth.
—————————————————————————-
5) Transfusion Grenade
Finally: the transfusion grenade. Unlike the barrage and inferno grenades, these won’t do much if you chuck them at the ground. Chuck them at a Behemoth, however, and you’re on your way to vampire status. These grenades steal life from their target and convert it into a homing set of healing orbs. Touch one to be instantly healed.
—————————————————————————-
Hopefully you find this info helpful on slaying behemoths! Also give me a follow!
