Rookie with decent skills
Hey guys,
I've been watching my roommate play MH for the longest time and always had an intrest in the game but never had anyone to play with and, the game fell out of his (and his playstation groups) rotation so i never got the game. The game eventually got back in and i finally bought the game. I just faced the first elder dragon for the second time and sent him back to sea, for whatever thats worth. I main an IG and im a hunter rank 9 or 10 (need to confirm) anyone willing to play or help boost comment or hmu (if thats a thing new to the app too) and we can get to grinding.

MHR in-game play was revealed!
MHR in-game play was revealed in TGS 2020 live stream.
The graphic was way better than I thought. I expected a little better than MHGU, but it's totally different.
Hunters can use Wirebugs for travel & battle.
Wirebugs has basically 2 stacks, and can be added 1 more via obtaining them from the field.
Wirebugs has cooltime and it recovers fast when you're out of battle.
You can use them for battle, but its cooltime gets longer.

New Series announced! Monster Hunter Rise!
Capcom announced Monster Hunter Rise on Nintendo Direct.
This new MH series looks like an open-world game, just like Zelda BOTW.
Hunters now can climb up the cliffs with Wirebug, the new system of MH Rise.
We can use Wirebugs for move or combat.
For the first time, a dog buddy was added to the game, called Palamute.
You can ride Palamute and move faster, just like Raider Ride of MHWI.
Palamute can also help you to fight against monsters.
Palico is still here for us.
Palamute is attack type, Palico is support type. You can bring maximum of 2 Pals during hunting while playing single play mode. Can bring 1 while multi-play mode.
Fanged Wyvern, Magnamalo is the title monster of this game.
There are more new monsters.
Bird Wyvern Aknosom, Bird Wyvern Great Izuchi, Amphibian Tetranadon.
We can also find some old monsters. Fanged Beast Arzuros, Temnoceran Nerscylla, Fanged Wyvern Tobi-Kadachi.
The new map has a lot of water and rivers nearby, so I strongly believe that Leviathan will join the game, especially Mizutsune.

Worth getting back into?
I stopped playing the game a month after release when my friends stopped playing, just recently picked it back up and I try to join random hunts but I'm just not stacked up in Hunter rank to do anything or have iceborn to even join a game. Is the game worth getting back into with all that against me and being solo all the time?

We got higher and lower ranked people so everyone would have someone to play with.
We host events daily casual games to competitive inhouse. We have inhouse tournaments to hop in with your mates and compete.
For the ones that want to improve we have a free coaching system with coaches from the elite of our group.
And if you want to form/join a competitive roster with other same-minded people in the group We got many opportunities to compete and practice and support.
There are some activity requirements to keep the group active, but they are quite easy and everybody is able to do it along the way! Also make sure to be 13+ years of age

- Soul Stream III has been added to the First Wyverian Ritual at the Elder Melder.
- You can now use rarity 9 decorations and higher as materials at the Elder Melder.

- Increased the chances that Sealed Feystones will appear as part of the rewards for threat level 3 tempered master rank investigations.
- The following charms have been added:
Shaver Charm, Earplugs Charm V, Master's Charm V, Critical Charm III, Exploiter Charm III, and Handicraft Charm V.

Just ago, Capcom announced their final developer diary.
The last returning monster was Fatalis. Just like the old series, we'll face him in Castle Schrade.
Fatalis will join Iceborne on Oct. 1st!
