Honestly im surprised that almost everyone keeps golden items regardless if they are useless to them :/
I always try to give the gold helm away to either lifeline or path but ur right not a lot of ppl do that
As a professional lifeline main with stupid aim i can say gold shit is useless to me since i can get red evo pretty quickly
