Official Patch Notes!
So much is pouring out today! Sorry for spamming posts today, guys. The official patch notes for upcoming updates have been released! New brawler, skin, and mode are underway, and there are also balance fixes! Our boy, Crow finally got buffed, but I'm sad to say that he still needs more😅 Barley, Bo, and Gene are getting a buff. Leon got nerfed again, and they also nerfed Mortis, Pam, and Darryl. What do you guys think about the update? Let me know in the comments!
New Brawler - Carl!
We have a brand new pickaxe wielding Brawler coming later in March!
Super Rare Brawler
Main attack: Pickaxe
Carl has only one ammo slot which is instantly recharged after his Pickaxe returns
Pickaxe returns to Carl after reaching max distance or after hitting a wall
Pickaxe pierces through enemies
Kicking the ball in Brawl Ball does not consume ammo with Carl
Super attack: Tailspin
Carl increases his speed and starts to whirl his Pickaxe in a 360 degree radius damaging everyone around him
Star Power: Power Throw
Pickaxe flight speed is increased allowing it to travel and return faster
New Game Mode - Siege!
3v3 game mode
Each team has a home base that can defend itself with a cannon, and the goal is to destroy the enemy base
Each team tries to collect "Bolts" that spawn in the middle of the map. The team that has collected more Bolts will construct a Robo during certain intervals of the game, the team can then help the Robo to push into the enemy base
Since this game mode lasts longer, there are DOUBLE trophies, rewards, and XP!

Rate Your Brawler #3 - El Primo
What up, Brawlerinos and Brawlerinas? FarCritical's weekly "Rate Your Brawler" is back! For this week's brawler, I've brought our most favorite luchador, El~ Primo~😆👊🤜💪 Being one of the three rare brawlers, El Primo isn't really hard to obtain from boxes, and many players have been using him for variety of modes, for he is tanky, strong, aaaannnd a great glitch material(Robo Rumble glitch - It's been patched). Is he good or bad? I'll let you be the judge of that😉
Fists of Fury - El primo pierces and attacks all enemies within the range, dealing four punches with 360~504 damage each.
Flying Elbow Drop - El Primo leaps and slams down with an elbow, dealing area of effect damage while knocking back enemy brawlers. It also destroys any obstacles within the range. Also, when El Primo is invincible while in mid-air.
El Fuego - Similar to Crow's attack, El Primo's super deals fire damage over time for 4 seconds, 200 damage for each second.
El Primo stats by the level
El Primo, along with Frank, has the highest health of all other brawlers. Therefore, He works great in the front line, aggroing enemies while dealing fair damage.
Being a heavyweight Brawler, El Primo moves faster than most other Brawlers. Also, unlike Bull whom you can't really control the range, his super allows you to move far distance in any direction you want. It's safe to say that he is almost as mobile as Mortis, Leon, and Crow.
As stated above, El Primo's fists can attack multiple enemies within the range at the same time. The more clustered your enemies are, you're more likely to deal higher damage in total which also means you're going to charge your super much faster.
Can't Attack Where Fists Can't Land
El Primo can only attack enemies that are within three tiles which makes him a brawler with the shortest attack range. If he doesn't get close enough to your enemies, they will knock him down easily even if he has the highest health.
Although it would be an understatement to say he has poor damage potential, but you also have to admit he should do better as a brawler that specializes in close range. Also, unlike projectiles, he can't land four punches in one go, making his each attack motion a little too long compared to other brawlers.
Mediocre Star Power
Adding a total of 800 additional damage to the super certainly works as a plus, but it's also true that his Star Power is a bit underwhelming compared to others'. The fact that it applies to his super only makes it worse as you're less likely to benefit from it constantly.
Where to use El Primo
Gem Grab - In tight situations, you can use his super to escape from enemies while dealing damage at the same time. Also, being one of the brawlers with most health along with Frank, El Primo works great as a gem carrier.
Heist - Although he isn't as powerful as brawlers with a shotgun, It's very easy to get his super charged, attacking both enemies and their safe at the same time. Also, with his super, you can instantly move from one place to another, making him highly versatile in any situations.
Brawl Ball - His super destroys obstacles that are in between goal posts while also knocking back enemies and making enemy carrier drop the ball. Also, his high HP makes him an ideal candidate for handling the ball.
Boss Fight - With enough power cubes, he can tank extremely well while dealing decent damage to the boss.
For last week's brawler, Nita, 52 moot users participated in the poll, giving her an average of 3.6★! Most voters favored 3★, while only one of them voted 2★. Honestly, I'm a little shocked to see the result😲 I really thought she'd get better stars than Shelly, but I guess majority of people here think different than I do😋 Do you guys agree with the result? Brawl Stars ripoff from South Korea?
I don't know if it's available globally, but apparently, NEXON Games and Line Friends, two renowned game developing companies from South Korea(where I come from), have come up with a mobile game that looks quite similar to Brawl Stars. The game is called, "Running Man Heroes," and I thought I should give it a try and write a first impression about the game here.
First off, Running Man Heroes is based on a Korean variety show, "Running Man," and its animated series in South Korea. Each hero is an animalized/cartoonized version of each celebrity from the show, obviously targeting those who have been watching it regularly. As you can see from the video I posted above, its overall gameplay design looks very much similar to that of Brawl Stars'. You're controlling a hero of your choice to either enter a 3 versus 3 or a battle royale match. What is distinctive about the game, however, is that it has a story mode. With two other teammates participating, you are to go through series of enemies and bosses in different stages, following the game's storyline. Apart from that, each hero can equip up to four different items called, "Force ring," and there are challenges to be cleared with rewards. Also, upon winning matches, you can collect points which works similarly as trophies from Brawl Stars.
The control's designed to look the same as well. With similar interface, you can use normal and super attack on enemies, and your super attack is charged every time you hit your opponent. The difference is that there's no reloading, and your opponents are generally much tankier than Brawl Stars. Also, another thing I should mention is that you can hold the normal attack button to charge and deal more powerful damage. What's very off-putting for me, however, is that your character stops moving when it's attacking. It's quite the opposite of Brawl Stars and irritating because it doesn't allow you to smoothly transit from one movement to another.
Quality wise, it's not on the best level, but it certainly does follow the graphics designs from the original show. I just have one word for it: Acceptable.
As someone who's been enjoying video games on any platform, I would like to point out that the overall sound design feels way too old for a mobile game in 2019. It certainly brought back the memories of games that I had played in early 2000 but to call it a good one is just wishful thinking.
Worth a try?
Although many youngsters enjoy Brawl Stars, one thing I can say for sure is that Running Man Heroes is a game that befits much younger gamers, while Brawl Stars is designed to appeal to a little broader spectrum of audiences. Also, my opinion is that because it lacks originality and sufficient quality to be called a good mobile game, it should have a hard time penetrating the market. My final verdict is that I can only say this game is just a copy and paste of Brawl Stars but made with cheaper resources.
Nonetheless, if you would like to give this game a chance, I'd say, go for it if you can access it. Obviously, how every review goes, I'm only giving you a hint of guideline as to what the game is about generally. Please give a thought that I'm not a professional reviewer and also that this review is based only on less than an hour of gameplay.
Rate Your Brawler #2 - Nita

I'm FarCritical, your favorite Brawl Stars content creator on moot, and I'm back with another installment of weekly poll in our lounge, Rate Your Brawler👏👏👏👏👏 For this week, we're gonna take a look at our one and only Nita! Nita, being probably the second brawler you receive in the game, can be earned by simply collecting 10 trophies in total! How easy is that!? With her adorable looks, voices, along with her partner, Big Baby Bear, many players have been choosing Nita as their first choice brawler. Frankly speaking, I think she's one of the best brawlers in the game that deserves many stars😄 Without further ado, let's find out how good of a brawler she is😉
Rupture -Nita deals moderate damage shockwave to enemies. Her fast reloading speed and above average range of attack make her a decent brawler in almost any mode in Brawl Stars.
Overbearing - Nita summons her partner, Big Baby Bear. Summoned Bear has its own individual health points and attacks enemies, boxes, and safe independently. As Nita levels up, Bear's stats also increase as well, going up to 5600HP and 560ATK.
Bear with Me - Every time Bear lands a hit, Nita recovers 500HP, while Bear recovers the same amount when Nita deals damage.
Here's how her stats are by the level
Strong and Tanky
Although Nita's a trophy road brawler you get for free early on in the game, she isn't someone to be ignored so lightly. She has a mid-range attack skill that pierces through any obstacles in between except walls. Also, when upgraded to the fullest, her HP is right below the level of heavyweight brawlers. Along with these feats and with her fast reloading speed and decent damage, she's known to be one the best units you can get for free in the game.
Big Baby Bear
As stated above, her super summons a bear that's regarded as an individual unit. Even as a summoned unit, Bear has high HP, attacks enemies in sight and can work as a living-shield. Also, enemy players cannot benefit whatsoever from attacking Bear as the game doesn't allow them to charge their super attack when attacking summoned units. Most importantly, Bear attacks opponents even when they're hiding inside bushes which means it can work as an enemy detector for you and your teammates to avoid getting ambushed. With all of these are combined with Nita's star power to recover Bear and herself frequently, Nita becomes one of the best choices out of all 23 brawlers.
Great But Not the Greatest - Nita is a jack-of-all-trades type of brawler that guarantees a lot of trophies if used correctly. However, she doesn't have enough firepower to take down enemies at one go and isn't as tanky as El Primo or Bull. Also, her normal attack has decent range but not long enough to attack enemies far behind; and Big Baby Bear can only attack enemies up close, meaning there are hardly any counter measures against long-range brawlers.
Where to use Nita?
Gem Grab - With her super attack to summon bear, she can protect the gem carrier while aggroing enemy brawlers at the same time. Although she isn't as tanky as heavyweight brawlers, she has decent amount of HP, enough to take the position as a gem carrier.
Showdown - Because her shockwave attack has decent range, can pierce through boxes, and deal damage to enemies over obstacles, many players favor Nita over many other brawlers. When an enemy player keeps chasing you, an effective strategy is to keep firing attacks while running away and use her super to summon Bear later on for best results.
Brawl Ball - Because Bear moves and attacks independently, Nita can attack, aggro enemies while dribbling the ball.
Big Game - Her decent tankiness and damage along with her super to summon Bear make her a formidable boss in Big Game. She's also a great choice to be one of the five for the same reason.
I'm proud to present the last week's Rate Your Brawler's result! Did anyone care to try this strategy?
Seemingly, many players are using this to get an easy way out for a win, and I haven't tried it myself and don't know if it really works or not. The trick is simple, when you're playing Bounty with friends, it's basically to get more stars than your opponent's team as soon as possible and go hide in the corner so as to hide from them until the end of the match. Ideally, you'll want to grab the star in the middle as quickly as you can to get the upper hand. There are two things that worry me. If a Bo with star power is on the other team, you'll likely to get spotted fast before the match ends. Another thing is how it's not what developers intended for players to play the game. It's not something players normally worry about, or it isn't something illegal; but it makes me feel like I'm playing the game to just win not to enjoy. Have you guys tried this before? What do you guys think?
What do you think Supercell should add next?
I'm itching to find out what would come next to the game. I've been enjoying this game for months now, and honestly, I think they should consider making a big change to the game as I'm starting to see myself repeating the same thing over and over. I know it's only been a few days after Gene was officially added, but just bear my impatience and share here what you think they should do.
