Before I begin on explaining the changes we are about to petition for I need to explain how this is going to work. If you agree with what I say in this post make a post and name it "Moot Listen", have the link of this post in it and have #changethecontentpolicy in the post as well. These are both to reflect numbers of people who agree. The petition ends in 24 hours (about 5pm EST on October 4th) Alright let's get into it... 1) Asking for Relationship Status This isn't tinder. This is moot. Yes this might be the off topic lounge but that doesnt mean it should be allowed. Content Policy 👇
So if the content policy states, "attempting to make non-gaming connections including dating..." then why is asking someone's relationship status acceptable? Ok...ok, maybe I just dont understand the content policy. But what I do know is that asking for someone's relationship status can lead to dating and comments that are inappropriate. This is moot, anything related to dating should be removed! Now this rule has nothing to do with what I'm saying should be removed and I understand that, I just want to make a quick point. The content policy states, "Spam Content (ex: blank posts, excessive posting or commenting...)" now heres my point... If the content policy says that then if a user asks for comments and other users come on the post spamming comments, that is against the content policy correct? So knowing that, peoples posts about that should be removed because they are indirectly asking for others to break a rule in the content policy. Ok...ok maybe I don't understand the content policy... What I do know is that asking for comments/likes ruins the competitive nature of moot. Let's say I ask for comments and I get spammed then my post is pinned on the "Most Commented" which ruins the competitive nature of moot... Asking for any quest goals should be against the content policy as these should strictly be earned purely and not by people spamming your posts. Unfortunately, people still think to this day that this is gaming tinder. They should either grow up, stop being desperate or just leave the app and never return. Because they completely violate the app's main rules, not bc of hate. It's practically illegal what they're doing.
About tasks, they're not as annoying, instead, I'm glad to help sometimes. But if it becomes a spam, it kinda becomes annoying and as you've shown, violates rules. But it's not a reason to hate on them if they do it once a month or every other week.i agree with the first one, but there is a problem with that. for what if someone asks purely out of curiosity would it be morally right to take done but a simple question for the sake of curiosity?
though I do still agree, for we as the people have the power to choose to report inappropriate post :P
