Short Story Contest (August 5th-19th) Short Story Contest (August 5th-19th) Hello, Mooties! I'm proud to announce a short story contest! We've all seen art contests floating around Moot. Today we're going to try and reach a different creative side of the app. You'll be able to write your own short stories and enter them inside a contest! We do, however, have some rules to follow: You can enter only once. Short story must be AT LEAST 1,000 words MINIMUM and no more than 10,000. 30 entries only No explicit content Your short story can be about any genre (Action, Comedy, Horror, Thriller, etc.) And also, the stories can be either fiction (not true) or non-fiction (true). Keep it within Moot's Content Policy Please make a post confirming your entry. That way if there's any problems receiving your submission, we can contact you. Use this hashtag in your post. #ShortStoryContest. And be sure they go on Off Topic in the General Board! Let your creative mind flow and have fun! We also have some rewards. There will be five total winners, but first place will receive 500 Moot coins. Second to fifth place get 100 Moot coins! And one more thing, the judges are as follows: Me, StealthParadox, MJ, and a guest judge. moot.us

Make sure it is a least 1,000 words and that you use the hashtag, #ShortStoryContest, when you are done with it. Or if you would like to (it's optional), you can use Google Docs and write your story there and submit the link here. There will be 5 winners. 500 Moot Coins for the Grand Prize Winner, and 100 Moot Coins for the other 4 winners. Make sure to get creative and have fun with it!
