Doom Eternal Switch Port Release Date TBA
They're saying Switch people will have the full experience. I think the Doom 2016 port was pretty fantastic. I love how Bethesda is able to port their games even to less powerful consoles like the Switch. You don't even need an expensive GPU to run it at 60 FPS on PC too.
Worth buying? 🤔
I love doom alot, and i really want doom eternal and it is for sale now, BUT, i dont have enough money for it. However, i do have enough money for doom 2016. So, should i buy it? Is it worth it?
Thought I might aswell post it since I am on here but Nightmare has been completed. It's stupid not to share after all the Goddamn tries.

DOOM Mod Combines Game With Spaceballs
Dear moot users.
Okay I know this app had a big boost when a youtuber(s) gave it promotion, but that doesn’t mean, some people use it as a DATING APP. This isn’t tinder, kik, hoop, yubo, or etc. This app is literal use for making FRIENDS and FINDING GAMERS to play with. NOT finding an online gf/bf. If you want to link your social media, put it in your bio and let people find it not in Q&A section, Jesus.
No I’m not moderator. No I’m not admin. No I can’t control you, but Jesus Christ I have no other words to say but what the fuck.

Let's Talk About Doom Eternal's Marauder
Doom Eternal does a phenomenal job of bringing the fast-paced, high-octane combat system introduced in Doom 2016 and updating it with a new world and some adjusted systems. It feels great to plow through enemy after enemy, and while the game is challenging, there’s a satisfaction to dispatching one foe after another with ease. That is, until the Marauder walks into the room. An enemy class that has caused a lot of debate in the community, the Marauder may be one of the most controversial elements of this game (in-game at least). Let’s take a look at the design of this enemy and what it does to the game experience.
The Marauder is a nearly unstoppable juggernaut. Getting too close to him makes him pop off a couple of shots with his shotgun while staying far away forces him to start throwing large, red energy blasts at you. Anywhere in between and he pulls out an energy shield, blocking whatever bullets you may shoot in his direction while spawning more enemies for you to deal with instead of him. It becomes a vicious cycle of never being able to get a hit in edgewise, always being on the backfoot. An enemy being difficult isn’t a bad thing, but this guy breaks down the flow and pace of the game experience completely.
What does work against the Marauder is very specific and not well-explained by the game. When he goes to attack you and his eyes glow a greenish hue, you need to attack him in that split second, basically stunning him. This, seemingly, is the only consistent way to break through his very elaborate defenses, making this a tedious “wait and then pounce” kind of experience. It creates a more deliberate, slow, defensive game experience, similar to a Dark Souls game. And while the design isn’t inherently bad, it is bad for this game specifically.
And fans haven’t been shy to say as much. A lot of players have taken to online forums declaring that the Marauder is the only real issue with the game, and many reviewers citing it as a sore point in an otherwise solid game. Many have gone so far as to request it be altered or removed from the game altogether.
But what’s my take on this enemy? I think he could use a bit of a change. Not so much that he needs to be removed from the game altogether, but enough to make him more manageable and less tedious to fight. It’s not that he’s a difficult enemy, just a slow, plodding, wait-and-attack kind of enemy in a game that doesn’t need it. Making him more aggressive but more open to taking damage could help, almost like a berserker character. Doom Eternal is already full of those, but that doesn’t mean the Marauder couldn’t be unique amongst them. But leaving him as-is would be a mistake in my opinion. It’s clear that he doesn’t do the game any favors, and when so many people are speaking out against his design, there’s likely some logic or reason behind that which should be heeded.
What do you think? Is the Marauder not that big of a deal, or does he need to go? Let me know your thoughts down below!

Doom Eternal: Caffeine and Camo Week 3
Hey there, slayers! Wanted to apologize for this update coming out a little later than usual, things have been a bit nuts over here! To help you get just the right amount of rewards out of your weekly challenges this week, I’ve highlighted the three best to get you that first initial bump of experience towards your next cosmetic reward! Let’s jump right into it.
We’ll start off quick with the first repeat challenge we’ve had, as far as I can remember. The “Coup de Grace” challenge requires you to kill three Super Heavy demons with the Crucible sword. Since the Crucible can easily cut through any demon, excluding the Marauders, this is a pretty easy task. The issue being, the game very rarely provides you with a steady stream of either heavy demons or Crucible charges at the same time. So, as I did before, I recommend using the final mission with the Icon of Sin to get this challenge done in a timely manner. The final phases will provide CyberDemons galore, as well as much Crucible charge as any Slayer could ask for.
The next challenge, fittingly named “Sticky”, asks you to get 40 fodder demon kills (Imps, zombies, etc) with the combat shotgun’s sticky grenade mod. Considering this is one of two mods provided early in the game, everyone should be pretty familiar with how it works and using early missions with high fodder counts, such as Hell on Earth, will make this challenge fly by.
The last challenge I want to focus on is called “Little Off the Top” and is completed by killing three Aracnotrons with the Destroyer Blade mod. The reason I wanted to bring this one up is specifically because Aracnotrons are quick little buggers and the Destroyer Blade attachment has a pretty decent charge up time on it, meaning you could risk missing your shot if you aren’t careful. Using your cryo grenade to slow down the cranial demon before winding up your shot is probably the best way to go about this challenge.
Now, get out there and show those demons they can’t get between you and your Hellfire Macchiato latte!

The Doom Eternal Soundtrack Controversy
One of the things the Doom games have always been known for is their heart-pounding intense music. It’s a small thing to some, and others may barely notice it as they barrel through each level, but its effects are always there, driving us to push harder and faster through the waves of demons. Doom 2016 was no exception, bringing on the talented Mike Gordon to work on the soundtrack, one that is still lauded as phenomenal metal music years later. I sometimes put it on when working out just to get myself motivated.
Unfortunately, Bethesda, rather than trusting his skill and success, has taken Mike’s original music for Doom Eternal and mixed a ton of his work themselves, making the music notably worse. Mike, on Twitter, has pointed out how Bethesda’s mixes of his music and notably more uniform and flat, with his songs having better “definition.”
The results show, with only a few of Mike’s songs making the cut without Bethesda’s meddling. Say what you will about music and personal taste, but when a company goes behind a musician’s back and changes their work, that’s just cold and rude.
And Mike’s fanbase has certainly been riled by this, with many people rushing to his defense. Having injected so much personality into Doom 2016, Mike is one of the reasons why Eternal came out at all in the eyes of many, so it’s frustrating to see one of the creative voices get stifled in such an unceremonious way.
Due to all the drama, Mike has stated that he is unlikely to work on future Doom products because of how poorly he has been treated. His comments suggest that the marketing department of Bethesda may have had a hand in the alterations done to his music, which makes some sense considering Bethesda’s history with such changes. Luckily, Mike has stated that he’s working on a proper cut of his music in his free time, which he’ll release when he can. But since this is on how own time rather than Bethesda’s dime, who knows how long we’ll have to wait before we see that album surface.
Bethesda has gotten a lot of bad publicity recently, and this is just another news story that piles on to that. It’s hard to watch such a well-respected company slowly but surely dig themselves a shallow grave. And we, as fans, all want to see the company succeed, but if this is how they are choosing to treat individuals who had a huge impact on their games, especially one that was so successful, maybe they don’t deserve to continue their work in the game industry.
What do you think? Is this as big a deal as everyone is making it out to be, or are people overreacting? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
Slayer is so OP - when they gonna balance?
Everyone says slayer is OP. I actually have seen good demon teams that work together well beat me at my best consistantly.
