Guide to playing ‘Frost’ in ‘Bank’Guides
The Bank is a slightly large-sized battlefield consisting of basement, 1F, and 2F. The objective locations generated one on the 2F, two on the 1F, and the last one in the basement. Among them, the defenders prefer the basement objective location because the 1F floors are made of non-destructive material. The two target sites on the 1F are divided into a single wall and very close to each other. While the size of 1F is wider, the basement and the 2F are slightly narrow and the route of the attack is constant. Therefore, the defending roamer is often hiding on the 1F and trying to catch the attacker’s back.
▲ Bank Objective Location, Each floor features a different style of character, making players show different strategies. The welcome mat, Frost's dedicated equipment, is a trap that can be installed on the floor and has the effect of making the attackers moribund when stepped on. A total of three can be installed, but the attackers can remove it by firing it or use an explosive. However, it is not electronic equipment, so it will not be destroyed by Thacker's EMP Grenade. Welcome Mat is usually installed close under the window frame so that it cannot be destroyed by fire outside the window. In this case, the attackers have to shoot the Welcome Mat installed under the window frame while jumping over the window. However, this makes the attacker vulnerable. If there is no suitable window to install, it can be used by installing the Deployable Shield on the door frame and then installing the Welcome Mat behind. Frost can select 9mm C1 SMG and Super 90 Shotgun as Primary Weapon. Among them, Super 90 is chosen when the map requires remodeling within the Bombsite, but in general, it is more likely to choose the 9mm C1 that is automatic. However, the 9mm C1 is a gun with the extreme performance of Fire Rate of 575 with a 45 Damages, it should be used as a surprise attack in an angle rather than directly engaging with the enemies.
▲ 9mm C1 has a similar spec like Blackbeard’s MK17 CQB, except unable to attach the ACOG sight. ▣ In case, the site is located at '2F Executive Lounge ~ 2F CEO Office' If the Bombsite is created on the 2F, the attackers will either check through the CEO Office window or entering the 2F Skylight Stairwell to attempt breaching the reinforced wall. If the offensive team operates snipers such as Kali and Glaz, they may try to shoot in the direction of Lobby, so the defenders should set position well. It would be nice to install the Welcome Mat under the CEO Office window to prevent sudden entry, but if the attacker reverses its rappelling position, it would be easy to shoot the Welcome Mat laid under the window, so I don't recommend it. Rather, I recommend installing it on the Stock Trading Room window or make a Deployable Shield Setup on the Janitor Closet statement.
▲ The Welcome Mat installation point to block the enemy approaching the CEO Office window. However, it can easily be destroyed by the enemy reverse rappelling, so not highly recommended.
▲ Instead, it is better to install the Welcome Mat on the Stock Trading Room window and wait for the moment the enemy enters.
▲ If the Janitor Closet is captured by the attackers, the defenders will be disadvantageous, so make the Deployable Shield Setup to block the enemy approaching.
▲ If you utilize the Deployable Shield well, you can block the enemy sniping the Lobby side. ▣ In case, the site is located at '1F Staff Room ~ 1F Open Area' The two Bombsite spaces are wide, so the defensive team has a wide range to cover. Even worse, there are three hatches on the 2F leading to the Bombsite, so it would be mandatory to reinforce them all during the Preparation Phase. In addition, the Stock Trading Room and Janitor Closet, except for the second-floor Hallway, are able to attempt vertical play limitedly, so the attackers usually breach the hatch on the 2F. For this reason, the defensive team must dispatch the defending units on the 2F. Even though the defenders have a wide range to cover, there are no suitable places to install the Welcome Mat, except the 2F Printer Room window. It is especially difficult to make the Deployable Shield set up on the door frame because of the multiple entrances to both Bombsites. It may be better to move up to the 2F with a team member and defend the hatch on the Stock Trading Room or Janitor Closet.
▲ The most suitable place to install the Welcome Mat on the 1F. It would be nice to make holes on the lower side wall to check the enemy entering.
▲ It is also nice to reinforce the Stock Trading Room hatch and make a similar setup.
▲ The Welcome Mat installation point to catch the attackers approaching from the basement Sewer ~ Server Room Stairs. It is quite not visible. ▣ In case, the site is located at '1F Tellers' Office ~ 1F Archives' This site doesn’t have a single-window leading outside, neither the hatch directly leading to the bombsite, so the defenders prefer here more than the ‘Staff Room ~ Open Area’ described earlier. However, this site also allows the attackers to attempt vertical play in the Conference Room, Executive Lounge, and CEO Office on the 2F, so the defending units on the 2F are highly required. Apart from having a single window on the Archives to install the Welcome Mat, there is also no place to install the Welcome Mat. However, this site has three doors that can make the Deployable Shield Setup, so it could delay the offensive team approaching. If the team has Goyo, you could have the Volcan Shield, but Deployable Shield Setup may interfere with your team's movement, so use it properly.
▲ There is one window on the Archives, enabling Frost to install the Welcome Mat.
▲ If you make the Deployable Shield Setup on the right entrance, both team players should jump over to approach.
▲ It is possible to make the exact same set up on the opposite side. At the same time, consider the other defending gadget’s installation point as well. ▣ In case, the site is located at 'B Lockers ~ B CCTV Room' Since the Bombsite is located underground, there are no windows that lead to the outside, and all floors on the 1F are made of non-destructive materials, making it impossible to attempt vertical play. For this reason, it is also the most frequently chosen Objective Location by the defense team. Instead, you should be careful of a route that allows the enemy to follow the Sewer and directly access the Server Room in front of the CCTV Room, and a route that checks the Secure Hallway or Lockers through the Bank Garage. There are a total of four hatches on the 1F leading the basement, so it is good to have two players to move up and reinforce those hatches. The attackers also often try to break through the hatch with the hard breachers, so the defensive team will need units on the 1F to stop or delay it. Since there is not much place to install the Welcome Mat in the basement, it is recommended to install it in the 1F printer room window or on the server room stairs.
▲ It looks stupid, but because the attackers are focusing on the CCTV Room, they usually get caught by this Welcome Mat.
▲ Other than that, there are no suitable places to install the Welcome Mat. Therefore, you should use it with the Deployable Shield.
▲ The attackers will come to breach the 1F Open Area hatch.
▲ Instead, install the Welcome Mat on the 1F and wait near the installation point.
