My father showed me this once.I can now appreciate link and koholint island in hd.Also like the references to Mario.
Listen closely Zelda fans; this game stays true to the original, adds a new feature where you make your own dungeons, BUT is horribly optimized with very poor performance issues. The game displays in native 720p ( terribly upscaled to 1080p ) and has consistent frame drops when transitioning scenes, which happens too often to go unnoticed. Breath of the Wild was engineered wonderfully, with very few dips in performance during instances where too many things were going on at once, while this game seems to have been built by a half bit team of Zelda fans that left out some serious play testing before the initial release. It plays somewhat well, (but not fluidly) with an out of place eight directional lock on Link's movement when navigating the world, as opposed to the more organic movement found in A Link Between Worlds, Phantom Hourglass, and other 3D overhead 3D Zeldas. Overall, if you have a special place in your heart for the original Link's Awakening, I still caution buying this game at full price, because the performance issues are frequent and frustrating.
I love the Zelda franchise and although this is just a reimagined version of an old game, it’s incredibly fun
Most Zelda games are good
